1500-talets inramad stuga i timmer fäst på ett fungerande litet anläggning med boskap i lugnt lantligt läge. 5 sovplatser. 2 sovrum, båda med eget badrum, med utsikt över landskapet. Dubbel bäddsoffa i loungen. Gaseldad centralvärme. Vedeldare i inglenook. Av gatuparkering och stor trädgård. Användning av ägare uppvärmd inomhuspool. Idealisk bas för att utforska Suffolk pittoreska pubar och medeltida kyrkor, Sutton Hoo-begravning, slott på Framlingham, Eye, Orford & Bungay. Woodbridge tidvattenbruk, Saxstead post kvarn, Snape Maltings, Minsmere Bird Sanctuary. Adnams bryggeri och gin destilleri på Southwold. Trappor till de övre våningarna är branta och passar inte för dem med betydande rörelseproblem (se foto). 1 veckas minsta bokning under högsäsong (15 juni till 31 augusti 2019) och jul.

We had a lovely stay here in August. The cottage was lovely and the surrounding area very peaceful. The pool was an excellent addition which we all enjoyed. Would highly recommend staying here.

Lovely stay at Yew Tree Cottage

What an amazing few days , Pauline and Norman are delightful people . So kind & generous & made us feel really welcome . Such an interesting house , with very comfortable beds , and tranquil. We loved seeing the sheep & chickens . The pool was an added luxury . We will be returning .

A wonderful stay

What a wonderful place to stay with very lovely and accommodating hosts. We spent a long weekend here with young children where could go swimming whenever we wanted and the owners let my children bottle feed the lambs. A perfect stay in the countryside with many placed to visit locally. Highly recommend

Amazing and special place

What a fantastic find this was, everything was perfect from the moment we booked. The cottage was charming, Pauline and Norman such welcoming hosts and a great location for exploring Suffolk. And to top it all off, a surprise proposal by the cottage’s open fire💍

Post Christmas stay

Just what we needed after Christmas. Pauline and Norman are very friendly. The pool was a great bonus as others have said. Location is lovely and so quiet. Lots of fantastic dog walks, hikes, bike rides and country pubs. The house was very cosey and we loved the fire. Would stay again!

Lovely break

Excellent

Beautiful cottage and gardens. Property had everything we needed for a weeks stay .The indoor swimming pool was a lovely bonus and we enjoyed the cats, kittens and feeding the chickens. The hosts were just great, all in all a perfect weeks stay.

Great house and location for a family holiday

We stayed here for a week and had a great time. Perfect for our young children with lots of outside space, a pool and trips to the coast. The house was lovely too, a beautifully renovated house which has kept its character. Highly recommended for a trip to this part of Suffolk.

Country retreat

Peaceful, charming, traditional cottage with modern amenities. Delightful setting, lovely village with excellent pub. Swimming pool competed the perfect property for a restful break.

Amazing stay with Pauline

We had a fantastic time at Pauline and Norman's. The house and garden was beautiful, the pictures don't do it justice. The house was clean, spacious and the kids loved the pool. Our hosts were so welcoming and I would book again in a heartbeat if in Suffolk again.

Bought Yew Tree Cottage 6 years ago and it forms half the house in which we have lived since 1979. We completely refurbished Yew Tree Cottage as a fully equipped holiday home. Now semi retired and keep a small holding with sheep and chickens. Someone should be around most of the time to help with queries/directions etc.

Yew Tree Cottage is in a quiet rural location with
views over the meadows and farmland. The cottage is timber framed with many original features but fully equipped kitchen with all mod cons. Gas fired central heating with underfloor heating in the kitchen and a wood burner in the lounge to keep you cosy no matter what the weather!
