La Bergerie består av två vackert inredda fastigheter - huvudhuset (4 sovrum) och ett gästhus med ett sovrum, La Petite Bergerie. Huvudhuset kan hyras på egen hand eller med La Petite Bergerie (mot en extra kostnad). La Bergerie är beläget på en sluttning mot söder och erbjuder fantastisk utsikt mot Esterelbergen och Medelhavet. Huset är omgivet av över 2 tunnland med underbart doftande trädgårdar med terrasser med olivträd, fikonträd, ekar och cypresser samt sötluktande lavendel, jasmin och rosmarin. Trädgårdarna och den uppvärmda poolen är belyst. Det är ett perfekt läge att njuta av en lugn, lyxig semester med familj och / eller vänner i en idyllisk landsbygd, bara 5 minuters bilresa från Seillans, en av Frankrikes vackraste medeltida byar. Detta är ett område känt för sin enastående skönhet men ändå nära liv och rörelse i Cannes och kusten.

Fantastic stay

I rented the house together with my husband, our one year old and four friends. We opted to get the guest house too as our baby wakes early. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. Was a bit afraid when I realised it doesn’t have AC but it was cool enough for sure during night - open windows with mosquito nets and fans did the trick. Would love to come back!

Wonderful 2 weeks in the hills of the south of france

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at La Bergerie. We loved the winding roads leading to its remote location and the views from the house are breathtaking and calming. It was fun to explore the region from sellaines - Cannes, st maxime, Antibes are all about an hour away - but we always appreciated returning to the peaceful quiet of this house and its surroundings. we also visited a few vineyards and loved the many perched villages, especially mons which we discovered on our way out. We appreciated the simple but tasteful decor of the house- white with blue accents. It was a perfect canvas for us to make our own memories. The kitchen is small - a one person kitchen really - but equipped with anything you might need. The covered outdoor porch always cooled down in time for lovely dinners. It was very hot for 3 days while we were there and we lived in the pool and would not have survived without it. At night the many fans helped. Our only suggestions would be getting heavier umbrella bases as there were several windy days and even strapped down, umbrellas were knocked over. Thank you for opening your home to us! We would definitely recommend!

Large family holiday

The villa is large and well-equipped; although requires some modernising, updating and repair. The setting is peaceful & relaxing, the pool is lovely. Take bug spray! It’s a shame the town is not in walking distance due to the steep mountain road. The pool area is in need of repair-loose coping stones and broken steps leading to the pool, uneven flooring. Indoors, the downstairs rooms get really hot, and we had difficulty opening doors and windows for ventilation. In the kitchen, the fridge & freezer could do with updating. However, there’s a lovely balcony seating area, beautiful views, and a peaceful setting which felt safe for a family holiday.

Wonderful!

We had a wonderful time at the villa in July. The property manager was very accommodating and helpful, and the house was very clean and relaxing. Our family of five, including three young children, swam in the pool over and over again. We loved having meals and playing board games on the porch overlooking the valley. Supply runs to the grocery store in Seillans were easy, and the sleepy village was very charming to walk through and explore. Fayence was a short 15 minute drive away to visit the market and explore as well. I highly recommend staying here, and would stay again.

A beautiful house in fantastic scenery

The house is located on the side of a hill outside the village of Seillans in Provence Alpes-Cote d'Azur. The views were amazing. The house itself was very well appointed with everything we could need. The accommodation suited our 3 families very well as we could be a bit separate. The swimming pool was glorious and allowed endless entertainment for our small grandchildren. Recommendations for places to visit and restaurants were provided which were very useful. Beautiful House

It is a beautiful house with a wonderful garden, and peaceful surroundings. It was the perfect retreat, offering relaxation and tranquility. Highly recommended for a memorable getaway. A note however: the description of the advertisement should in future make it clearer that the pool is heated only at an additional cost.

Wir würden gerne wiederkommen.

Das Haus hat eine wunderschöne Lage, ist sehr komfortabel und charmant aufgebaut. Mehrere Terrassen ein wunderschöner Pool und eine großartige Aussicht in die Berge. Außer ein paar und wesentlichen Kleinigkeiten war der Aufenthalt perfekt. Sehr nette Kommunikation mit der Besitzerin. Alles war so wie wir es uns wünschen. Wir würden gerne wiederkommen

Our Stay at in Seillans

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were two couples with three children and assorted friends. The house easily accommodated us for our two week stay. The owners have made many nice touches to make it not just a rental but a very warm, homey experience. And they left many wonderful suggestions for things to do. Seillans is charming. If you are looking to experience the Cote D' Azur, but want to also be a bit away from it all, this is a great option.

Beautiful house

We stayed for a week in la Bergerie with 6 adults. It is a very charming, tastefully decorated house in a nice quiet place with a beautiful view and close to several nice places. The house is fully equipped. There are two bathrooms in the main house. Deborah is an attentive hostess.

Perfect getaway

We had the most relaxing week at this beautiful property. The views are simply stunning. There is everything you could possibly need including a fabulous pool. We enjoyed kayaking on the nearby lake and beautiful walks into Seillans.

The most wonderful stay in Provence The house was enchanting, Deborah the most caring host one could wish for. We deeply enjoyed every day the diverse views out of the house as well as countless possibilities to retreat in the garden. Perched in Provence

Our family spent a week at La Bergerie in August. despite the predictable crowds in Provence, we experienced quiet beauty in a home with everything we could ask for and more. I’ve been a regular VRBO user for easily 15 years. This home surpassed all prior experiences. It is set outside of a beautiful perched village with olive groves and vineyards and vistas all around. The home has multiple patios and decks to relax with wine and a good book for those days you don’t wander off to see the beach, or a nearby market, museum, etc. it is tastefully furnished with a thoughtful, creative eye and worked very well for a family of two parents and three adult children.

Beautiful Villa

This is a beautiful villa in a beautiful part of France. It's equipped with everything you need for a short or long stay. I can't think of anything that I could say was missing. We enjoyed many a day visiting the local hilltop villages as well as just lazying around the superb pool. Most evenings were spend eating dinner on the veranda and watching the night sky. I highly recommend the villa for anyone wanting to visit this part of France.

A lovely place to recharge your batteries

We had extraordinary house to enjoy nice, calm and relaxing vacations. The house is gorgeous, beautifully arranged and decorated. The garden with the different levels, terraces and lounges is an beautiful place. Ideal for a family with older kids. Ours loved to explore the garden, while we enjoyed a cool glass of Rosé in the late afternoon sun. A real treasure to relax and enjoy the vacations.

Outstanding Villa

We have stayed in many villas over the years and we would rate this one as the best to date. The layout makes living so easy, the spacious terraces, the fantastic pool etc, etc all brilliant. We loved the tasteful decor, the excellent equipment in the kitchen, quality beds & bed linen. We greatly appreciated the generous provision of all basic materials for kitchen, laundry, inflatables, pool towels (very unusual in our experience) ........well, almost everything really. Debbie was a delight to deal with an Marie Louise the housekeeper an added bonus, we cannot recommend this villa more highly.

A fabulous get away from it all villa!

We arrived at the villa late at night, in the middle of a thunderstorm, and were delighted to come through the door of such a warm and welcoming home. Luckily the storm passed, and when we woke the next morning we opened the shutters to the most amazing views!They totally take your breath away. We only had a short visit but will definitely be back. It is a stunning villa in a beautiful location and we can't wait for our next trip. The perfect place to recharge your batteries!

I Thought I had Died and Gone To Heaven

A small group of us had decided to take a long weekend in the South of France to relax and enjoy each others company. Heaven itself could have provided a better solution. Le Bergerie just outside Seillans is an idyllic retreat, beautiful views, peaceful and everything it promised to be in the description. Clean, tasteful and a real home. It was easy to find the given the instructions and everything was ready when we arrived. I would have no hesitation in recommending it to good friends and relatives but only if they promise to take me with them, this is a place you would visit again and again. We walked down to the beautiful village a few times to visit the amazing Chez Hugo's which was recommended by the owners. Fantastic food, ambience and staff. I could go on and on but my advice would be try it for you self!!

Beautiful French villa in the South of France

We have visited La Bergerie a couple of times before and every time we come we are amazed by the beauty of the area and the stunning vistas from the terraces of the Villa. La Bergerie is so comfortable and has everything you could possibly need for a stay any time of year. The owners are constantly making improvements, this year there is a lovely decking area with fabulous sofas where you can relax and enjoy the sunshine. We enjoyed day trips into Cannes, Nice and St. Tropez. We are already trying to find a time when we can come back and enjoy this fabulous home away from home.

We bought La Bergerie having fallen in love with Seillans and the beauty of the surrounding area, we have a large family all of whom love holidaying in this beautiful part of the world.
It has always been a dream of ours to spend more time in the South of France and this is the place that has become our heaven on earth to share with family and friends for hopefully many years to come.
Our house is extremely comfortable and we use it year round as the location lends itself to summer and winter pursuits including skiing.

Varför värden valde detta boende

When we first visited La Bergerie we fell in love with the views, the house and the magnificent grounds. Seillans itself is one of the most beautiful villages in France, steeped in history and with its lively markets, vineyards, olive groves, galleries, fabulous restaurants and the cooking school it is a perfect palce to spend time.
The summers are hot, the spring and autumn pleasantly warm and winters mild - a welcome change from home! It was important to us that the house was easy to reach if we want to escape just for a weekend. It was also important that there is a 'depth' to the area - plenty of artistic, cultural, historical and sporting diversions especially skiing to keep us occupied.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

When we stay at La Bergerie we feel extremely comfortable and fortunate to have such a beautiful property with an aspect, climate and provencal aroma that we couldn't have in London. The house is very private and peaceful as it is not overlooked, however we can walk into the village for dinner or to a local music festival if we want too. It is easily accessible to the coast and with Nice being served by multiple airlines it gives us easy access to a region with many attractions and places of interest. The time we spend by the pool and the lunches on our terrace with a glass of rose are heaven. We hope that we are able to spend more time there!
