Mycket bekvÀmt boende centralt i Estepona

Vi uppskattade speciellt utsikten frÄn balkongen och att det Àr gÄngavstÄnd till hamn, strand och centrum. Men ocksÄ att ha bilen tryggt parkerad i garage. Vi blev vÀnligt mottagna av Silvia som gav alla nödvÀndiga instruktioner. OmtÀnksamt att bjuda pÄ kalla drycker och fÀrsk frukt vid ankomst! LÀgenheten Àr ren, vÀlutrustad och sÀngarna bekvÀma. Rekommenderas av oss.

An insulting experience

We rented this budget apartment for 9 days in January 2017. A friendly welcome that became an insulting experience. Except from the view, there is a little more to wish. The heating/air condition system broke and we had only a radiator the second half of our stay. We did manage to keep warm, and even too warm as the mattress was covered with some plastic incontinence protection. After a week at home, the owners accused us for having broken the handle mechanism inside the toilet window, and an outdoor chair had a crack that we were blamed for. When we pointed that neither the window nor the chair were used during our stay in January we were accused of lying. If we had knowledge of any broken items, we would certainly not have had any problems to pay for them, but charging paying guests for a broken-down handle and chair in a budget apartment is more than greedy. So, for the amount of 58 euros, the owners have financed a new chair and a handle – but definitely lost at least two customers... and they told us to be grateful that it didn®t cost more – and that we were welcome back if we treated the apartment more carefully. Well even lovely Estepona has its spots. We strongly recommend everybody NOT to pay rent and deposit to the owners private account – do it through an agency so you have a decent chance to make a complaint.

Great stay, a lovely apartment, well kitted out, really good balcony with sea views. The location was great for us, just a 15-20 min stroll to the centre of the old town and about 10 minutes stroll to the marina. Less than 5 minute walk to the beach. We would recommend and definitely stay here again.

A great stay

We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it. The apartment is comfortable and well equipped. The view and the terrace are amazing. Having private parking and a pool was also convenient.

Tal como se anuncia: impresionantes vistas

El apartamento se entrega muy limpio y ordenado, tiene unas vistas que abarcan todo el pueblo, el mar hasta Africa y Gibraltar... Ademås estå a un paso de la playa y del pueblo. Esme, la persona que nos recibió, es muy amable y nos contó muchas cosas que hacer en Estepona. La propietaria también muy accesible y amable.

Nice welcome including some food essentials thrown in, Great views from the balcony. About a 7 minute walk to the marina and a 15 minute one to downtown. Unfortunately the pool area was closed due to regional water restrictions. Overall a nice place to stay

Great place

The apartment was great — and the best part is the spectacular 180 degree view from the terrace, and seeing the water from the living room. Sunrise was beautiful. There was excellent communication with the owner (Diana), especially when she had to warn us, as we were on our way there by bus, that the elevator had broken down. Since we couldn’t possibly lug our heavy suitcases up seven flights (we were in Europe for over two months, so not just little carry-ons!) she and Esme, who met us at the apartment, quickly found two young guys they knew to carry them up for us. Even though the elevator was out for a few days, longer than expected, Diana and Esme were so apologetic — but heavens, it wasn’t their fault! It's how they dealt with it so well that’s important. The apartment itself was clean and well equipped, and they even started us off very conveniently with some basic staples in the fridge. We didn’t have a car, but everything is so walkable, which is the fun part of being there. We liked the location being close enough for an easy walk to the port and all its restaurants, as well as the beautiful walk the other way along the boardwalk to beachside cafĂ©s and the charming historic downtown. We loved Estepona and the apartment suited our needs very well!

Magnifique view

The apartment is like the pictures. The view of Gibraltar is magnifique. Can’t find a place to get a better view. Estepona is a perfect location to travel around Costa del Sol. Many good restaurants around or in old Estepona.

The television was old and had no HDMI, we were not able to use our Apple tv. We were supplied with 1 change of bedclothes, for 3 weeks in the heat, there should have been at least 2 extra changes.

We have just returned home from a lovely 4 weeks at this apartment. It's exactly as seen on the booking site. Loved the location, so easy to walk around Estepona. Fabulous views and comfortable furnishings. With a special mention for Silvia who rescued us when I locked my handbag in the apartment. Thankyou. We would happily return.

Lovely

This is a lovely place to stay. The location is great. Everything is within walking distance including the beachfront. The view from the balcony is perfect. Any place where you can step outside and see the Rock of Gibraltar in the distance is great. (Do yourself a favour and visit Gibraltar. Fantastic day trip.) The flat is on the 7th floor, no one above, which is nice. It's clean and well-appointed, good heating system should you be traveling during the colder months as we were. That being said, the sun beams into the living room, wonderfully warm and inviting. Great place.

November break

Lovely apartment with views out to see. Flat was very clean, light, airy and comfortable although in places the communal areas would benefit from a re-fresh. Temperature was in the low 20's, so really nice for a few days away. There is construction work on the front (Nov 2022 and while not intrusive it does mean you cannot get down to the beach or to walk along the front without walking either to the port or into town.

A lot of thought and care has gone into preparing our beautiful apartment for others to enjoy. We hope to be able to share the magic of Estepona with you soon.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

Estepona is a fishing village that has grown into one of the most popular and eco friendly resorts on the Costa del Sol, yet still manages to retain its authentic Spanish character.
Located at the foothills of the Sierra Bermeja mountain range, it has an iconic old town adorned with hundreds of colourful flowerpots, pedestrianised streets and boulevards, a fishing port, marina, and miles of glorious sandy beaches and boardwalks. Local amenities include museums, shops, orchidarium, street markets, supermarkets, a wide selection of tapas bars and restaurants, beach bars, plus many seasonal events, concerts and festivals.
MĂĄlaga & Gibraltar airports are under an hour's drive away. Sotogrande and Marbella are less than half an hour by car. There are many wonderful places to visit for the day including Sevilla, Cordoba, Granada, Ronda or the nearby Andalusian "White Villages". You can even take a day trip to Morocco.

The apartment occupies a privileged position on the top floor of a gated complex in a quiet, secure area overlooking Estepona town, beach and port, with all amenities close at hand. The views from the terrace are amazing! The nearest beach is a couple of minutes walk away and the fishing port and marina only 10 minutes on foot. The historic town centre is a 10 to 15 minute walk along the beautiful new beach boulevard. You'll find a great selection of bars, restaurants, shops & supermarkets right on your doorstep. The apartment has lift access, free fibre optic Internet/wifi & underground parking. All bed linen and towels are provided.
