einfach nur wunderschön

wenn man die Ruhe liebt, so wie wir, dann ist dieser Ort perfekt....Rina und Bruno sind sooooo nett, lieb und aufmerksam....die Küche ist perfekt ausgestattet, von der Salatschleuder bis zum Pürierstab es ist alles vorhanden....die Zimmer sind nett eingerichtet...und das Bett ist der Wahnsinn, ich hab noch nie so gut geschlafen wie in diesem Bett...der Pool ist ein bißchen in die Jahre gekommen aber Bruno hat ihn sofort gereinigt und alles war wieder perfekt....es war ein rundum wunderschöner Urlaub...wenn man die Ruhe liebt dann ist dieser Platz perfekt....wir haben es sehr genossen

Perfect place to relax

Perfect complete clean house. A great pool(we used every day) and a beautiful view. Rina & Bruno were great hosts and helped us weteever they could. Highly recommended.

Fantastic house in an idyllic location

We were travelling as a couple and enjoyed this wonderful house for a week. It is very clean and perfectly equipped. Nothing is missing. The location is very idyllic and quiet with wonderful views. We were able to relax wonderfully. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. The house is a bit in the mountains and you have to love driving narrow and winding roads by car. You can't drive directly to the house but have to park a few metres away. However, the hosts provide a shuttle to and from the house for your luggage. A fantastic service. We would love to come back.

Expectations exceeded

Loved & cared for by owners. Rina & Bruno went beyond the call of duty to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Help with a punctured tyre on arrival set their high standard of care. We never tired of the wonderful views from the house, the birdsong, the scents pf wild flowers and the ambience of the ancient village. The 15 minute drive down a steep & winding road may challenge a less experienced driver. We loved the local markets and the thermal baths in Bagni di Lucca and walking in the mountains. Lucca and its music was a joy. We plan to return.

Fantastische plek

Als je je even helemaal wil afsluiten van de buitenwereld is dit een ideale plek. Zeer pittoresk dorpje waarbij je je even terug in de tijd waant. Dichtstbijzijnd stadje op zo’n 20 minuten rijden. Fantastische ontvangst door Rina en haar man. Hele lieve mensen die constant voor je klaar staan als er ook maar iets is. Geven zeker voldoende privacy. Huisje is prima met alle benodigdheden aanwezig. Heerlijk dat er een zwembad is, iedere dag gebruik van gemaakt. Omgeving is prachtig en vooral de rust heeft ons goed gedaan. WiFi is overigens prima. En de vosjes en andere wilde dieren lopen door je achtertuin heen. Echt een aanrader !

Super Urlaub

Wir waren 4 Wochen zu Gast in Pieve di Controne, welches ein sehr schönes kleines Dörfchen ist. Die Lage und der Ausblick ist einfach ein Traum. Ein kleiner Laden ist im Nachbardorf, einkaufen und essen in Bagni di Lucca 15 min entfernt. Es gibt einen schönen Pool und Sitzmöglichkeiten im freien sowie einen großen Garten, wir unsere Kinder haben das Objekt und den Garten sehr genossen. Rina ist eine tolle Gastgeberin und war stets für Hilfe da. Das Haus ist sauber und alles ist da. Es gibt in der Umgebung viel zu entdecken, Lucca ist 45 min entfernt, an das Meer nach Viareggio dauert es knapp über eine Stunde. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und würden wieder kommen.

Rustig gelegen sfeervolle Italiaanse woning

Met onze kinderen (10 en 8) hebben we een heerlijke tijd gehad in deze Italiaanse woning met privé zwembad en geweldig uitzicht. De woning heeft een klassieke stijl en is van alle gemakken voorzien. Gastvrouw Rina en gastheer Bruno zijn ons super van dienst geweest. Een zeer warm welkom, hulp met de bagage en goede uitleg over het gebruik van de woning. Tijdens onze vakantie was er altijd ruimte voor het beantwoorden van vragen of verlenen van hulp. Stel je in op een bergachtig ritje met de auto (of fiets) om bij het idyllische dorpje Pieve di Controne te komen. Parkeren bij de kerk en een korte wandeling brengt je naar het verblijf. Onderweg wordt je gegroet door de vriendelijk plaatselijke bewoners. ‘S avonds hebben we zeer regelmatig bezoek gekregen van een familie “wilde” zwijnen. Wees gerust, ze blijven op afstand. Als je van absolute rust houdt, dan is deze woning en locatie de perfecte plek. In de omgeving zijn tal van activiteiten te doen voor alle leeftijden. Voor eerste levensbehoefte kun je terecht bij alimentari Erica in San Gemignano, voor uitgebreidere keuze is de afdaling naar Bagni di Lucca noodzakelijk. Wij danken Rina en Bruno nogmaals voor ons geweldige verblijf in hun vakantie woning. Ciao, Famiglia Nuijten

Prachtige locatie

We hadden een geweldige vakantie in dit huisje in de heuvels boven Bagni di Lucca. De eigenaars waren erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam, ook bij onze (late) aankomst en vertrek. Het huisje heeft alles wat je nodig hebt, comfort is basis en de keuken wat klein, maar dat weegt niet op tegen het geweldige uitzicht buiten. In de buurt is er voldoende te beleven, ook voor onze 2 tieners. Een prachtige locatie om cultuur, avontuur en relaxen te combineren. We konden ook te voet naar het volgende dorpje(San Gemignano) om vers brood, of in de buurt gaan eten bij Santina in San Cassiano. Een aanrader!

Una bellissima esperienza

Abbiamo scelto questo luogo per poter restare in relax, lontano dal resto del mondo in un luogo che fosse capace di rigenerarci attraverso il suo panorama, la quiete, la comodità e anche il lusso di avere una grande piscina tutta per noi! Le foto dell'annuncio non rendono omaggio al luogo, dal vivo è davvero fantastico. La casa è spaziosa arredata con gusto e provvista di tutto! Non le manca niente. La posizione è davvero incredibile perché il panorama che si gode è appagante. Circondata da tantissimo verde, dai boschi anche in piena estate non faceva mai troppo caldo. La pieve medievale ti catapulta in un tempo passato, le persone che la abitano sono accoglienti e simpatiche ma molto discrete. Rina e Bruno sono due padroni di casa assolutamente perfetti, e molto molto piacevoli, due belle persone, disponibili e affabili. È un luogo lontano da tutto, ma nello stesso tempo si possono fare escursioni molto belle nei dintorni, visitando tutta la garfagnana. Un posto magico! Grazie!

Relax

Posto incantevole per chi vuole passare un periodo di vacanze in relax,tra silenzio e natura....poi a brevi tratti ci si può passare delle belle giornate a Lucca,Pisa,al mare,allo zoo ecc. È necessaria la macchina! Consiglio in periodi caldi per poter sfruttare la piscina perché essendo in alta quota l acqua potrebbe risultare fredda,gli insetti essendo campagna ci sono ma nella norma,queste cose non incidono sull incantevole posizione della casa. Cosa dire dell organizzazione,pulizia e gentilezza seguita dalla riservatezza dei proprietari,davvero bravissime persone che curano la casa nei particolari,lasciando al servizio degli ospiti tutti i confort possibili e immaginabili. Davvero un 10 a questa casa e a chi con Amore la custodisce,grazie!

Very nice villa

Views to die for. Very private in a tiny village this was a very nice place to stay. Rina was a great host and by friendly. There is a little shop in the next village that we would walk to to get lunch. Bagni di Lucca is the local town, 15 minutes down the hill with lot of shops and restaurants. We spent most of the time relaxing at the villa but did enjoy a visit to Lucca.

Vraiment un endroit charment panorama exceptionnel au calme merci à Rina et Bruno

Maison très bien équipée, propre et fonctionnelle, la piscine offre une vue à couper le souffle ainsi que le reste des espaces extérieurs. Idéal pour des vacances au calme, et en même temps idéalement située pour découvrir une partie de la Toscane. Un grand merci à Rina et Bruno pour leur accueil particulièrement chaleureux.

Nice location with stunning view

We had a nice stay in a beautiful location with again and again enjoying a great view over the valley, despite the sometimes 'funny' weather. The kids loved the pool and the facilities of the cottage were good. A great place to explore the area such as the cities in Tuscany or beaches. A car is really necessary given the height differences and distances.

Unfassbar schön!

Ein grossartiges Haus in schönster Lage und mit liebevoller Einrichtung. Besonders warmherzig waren die Vermieter. Unbedingt empfehlenswert!!!!

Repos et plaisir des yeux

Un accueil chaleureux, Rina et Bruno ont vraiment l'envie que notre séjour se passe pour le mieux. Ils sont discrets et respectent notre envie de calme. La maison, sur le bord d'un petit village est très calme et offre tout l'équipement nécessaire. Le panorama est à couper le souffle. Endroit idéal pour les amoureux de la nature. Le soir, sur la terrasse nous avions la visite d'un blaireau et d'un chevreuil .

Tranquil holiday cottage - stunning location.

We have just returned from a wonderfully peaceful week here in this cottage above Bagni di Lucca. We had trouble with our car hire on the way and Rina couldn't have been more helpful and flexible about our arrival time. She had also filled up the fridge with a few local goods, which was much appreciated. The property was very clean, well catered for and well maintained. Nothing was too much trouble and as it was so hot, Rina provided another table to sit at in the shade of the house. The weather was extremely hot and so the pool was most welcome! The view was stunning, looking out over the hills. It is about a twenty minute drive into Bagni di Lucca. It is a lovely area but we didn't do this justice as it was so hot. It is a perfect spot to recharge the batteries. Rina was there if we needed anything - but not invasive. She also, very thoughtfully, provided us with a map to direct us to our next destination - without being asked. I would definitely recommend it to others - our only slight comment would be the intense heat. Air conditioning would have been a bonus, but...... overall, we thought it was a complete gem of a place/holiday. Thank you!

charming villa with stunning views

we recently stayed for a week at this property and had one of the most peaceful and relaxing holidays ever . the villa was a delight , clean and very well equipped with everything you need . the views were stunning and the very large garden bordered by beautiful forest with many birds and wildlife and not overlooked by other buildings so very private . both the owner and rina who manages the property were very helpful having picked us up from the local train station on arrival and provided us with some basic food and drink as the local shops were closed on a sunday . if there were any problems they were always there to help in any way but also left us to our privacy and nothing seemed too much trouble for them . i would thoroughly recommend this villa to any friend or family with no hesitation and hopefully look forward to visiting such a tranquil and beautiful place again

charming villa with stunning views

my wife , 3 year old son and i stayed here for a week recently and enjoyed a very tranquil and peaceful stay . the property is very charming and clean inside and very well equiped with all you may need . we were picked up by the lovely rina who manages the property from the rail station and taken to the property where she had provided us with food and drink we may need as the shops were closed on sunday . the property has amazing views and an extensive garden and is very private not overlooked by anyone . bordering the forest there was much wildlife to see especially many birds . it was such a lovely property and location that we very rarely left the villa all week and had one of the nicest relaxing holidays ever . all in all we could find nothing to fault in any way and look forward to hopefully returning someday . i would recommend this property to anyone interested

THough born in the States, my parents were from the area, so I enjoyed numerous summer holidays here. In 1980, the decision to move to Italy definitely. Being a city person, coming to a place where you could sleep with your windows open and doors unlocked was a step back in history. Besides really being little medieval villages, you can easily imagine what life was like in the 17th century. I have been enjoying this relaxing, quite area for thirty years. Though it may seem diffcult to live in a mountain village, I am 15 minutes away from all amenities, an hour from a ski area, from the shore, from Pisa and two hours from Florence. What else can I say......
