Om boendet

När du anländer hälsas du med en iskall margarita, färsk från personalen. Du kommer att älska den vackra utsikten från din lyxstudio på Wyndham Margaritaville Resort. Ibland kan du snubbla in i Jimmy Buffett själv. Just öppnat 2015, allt är nytt och nytt. Det är en vacker semesterort med så många roliga aktiviteter, du behöver inte lämna orten för en fantastisk semester.

Varje studio har en king size-säng, delvis kök, en margarita-maskin och wifi. Det är så mycket bekvämare än ett hotell. Enheten är ungefär 324 kvm, även om det inte finns någon tvättmaskin och torktumlare i enheten finns det tvättmöjligheter bara några steg bort.

Det finns en enorm pool plus en enorm badtunna, massor av bekväma stolar och några hängmattor strö runt poolen. Baren "5 O'Clock Somwhere" ligger precis intill poolen med fantastisk utsikt över vikens underbara turkosa vatten.

Om du inte vill hyra en bil finns det en buss till och från flygplatsen för $ 40 per person. Om du hyr en bil, kom ihåg att du kör på vänster sida av vägen.

En av de bästa sakerna med denna utväg är rumservice. Om du vill äta frukost i sängen eller en övernattning på kvällen, ring bara rumsservicenumret på telefonen. Det är bara några minuter från din dörr.

På grund av Wyndhams bokningskrav är inte alla datum för in- och utcheckning tillgängliga. Ofta kräver det en fredag checka in eller ut.

Ön St Thomas har nu passerat en kortvarig beläggningsskatt (hotellskatt). Detta gäller även timeshare-lägenheter. Anläggningen debiterar $ 25 / per dag per enhet för denna skatt. Detta betalas på orten och är separat från hyreskostnaden.

Very nice room and hotel close to coki beach just a 5 min walk and close to a lot other amenities definitely recommend staying here if you come to the Virgin Islands

We loved our stay at Margaritaville! The resort has everything you need. It’s a close walk to Coke beach too! We didn’t really venture off but enjoyed our time at the resort.

Amazing

We had a wonderful week at Magaritaville. Such a beautiful property. Clean room and nice staff. The food was okay, good, but not great. The beach in front of the property was full of seaweed and a little smelly but still a nice view. Thankfully Coki beach was a short walk away and was beautiful!

Our room was great and convenient to the pool. The beach at the resort does not resemble the pictures as it’s been washed away. Maybe updated pictures would be good. We felt safe at the resort and liked the golf carts that would take you around the property. The coffee shop was convenient in the morning and the staff was super nice. We did wish that more dining options were available. Overall we really enjoyed our stay!

Easy stay at Margaritaville. Beach is great/relatively private. Infinity pool with swim up bar was a fave place to hang out. Hotel staff was responsive to any issues incurred. Property manager responsive to emails ahead of trip. Only one restaurant (slow service) and a small deli/food store for options on property. Redhook is nearby with many food options by about $8/pp one way trip. Can also catch ferry to St. John from there. 2 beaches are also close by (coki beach is in walking distance)

Perfect days!

My husband and I stayed at Margaritaville for 3 days and we couldn’t ask for anything else - beside for more vacation days =) When we arrived, at 6pm, 2 hours after the check-in time, we had a little trouble because our room wasn’t ready and they didn’t have an expectation time for us, but when we explained we had dinner reservations and couldn’t wait too long, they figured it out and accommodated us promptly. The room was spacious, with a complete kitchen and the balcony view is spectacular! It’s good to know that the hotel beach is not swimmable because of the great amount of seaweed. But Coki Beach is a beautiful and great beach and walking distance - plus Margaritaville offers daily shuttle to there. This trip was only my husband and I but I could picture our whole family (we have 2 young children) having so much fun there! Definitely is place for everyone!

Nice place for a few nights!

We enjoyed our stay but we only stayed for 3 nights coming off a week long sail. There is only 1 restaurant and it is very limited. The resort is $10 taxi ride to Redhook and there are lots of great places to eat and bars. We sadly didn’t have a cook too like we were expecting in our room. We planned to make breakfast in our room but weren’t able. There is a tiny market at the resort but you can really only get chips and salsa. They don’t have any bread or eggs. That would be a huge convenience on location. They had some drinks as well but not much. The resort was nice but nothing great.

I am a retired school teacher and college professor. We travel when we can, but don't get to go as much as we like. So we rent our extra vacation time. But I also act as an agent for 30 other Wyndham owners who rent their time as well.

Varför värden valde detta boende

This is one of the most beautiful properties in the Wyndham portfolio. We stayed here for 15 nights in October 2015, and absolutely LOVED it. It has a restaurant on the property plus a full service bar right next to the pool which, by the way, looks out over the bay. It is close to Red Hook which is where the ferry is that takes you to St John's Island and the British Virgin Islands. This is truly paradise!

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

The condo has a kitchen if you want to cook to save money, but there is also a restaurant on the property if you don't want to cook. The best part is they have room service! It is very close to many of where the day trips depart from. Plus is it very close to Red Hook which has more great restaurants.
