Luxury modern ground floor spacious two bedroom, two bathroom apartment on a secure gated complex in Marbella, Costa del Sol, Spain. The apartment has a ground floor entrance from the road, but has an elevated position from the terrace, which overlooks the main pool and the gardens, with direct access to these from the garage underneath the apartment. The apartment is situated near the sea, between the golf courses of Cabopino and Santa Maria on the attractive development of La Reserva de Marbella(Phase 1). It is not part of the large Phase II development further in land. This area of the Spain is also known as the Costa del Golf, as there are some fifty courses on the Costa del Sol.

The apartment, along with another identical one I own next door, can accommodate four people is fully furnished with good quality furniture and fittings in a traditional Spanish style with marble floors throughout. A BBQ is provided for al fresco dining. Also can be provided are beach towels at a rate of five euros per holiday per guest..

It has remote controlled air conditioning in the living and bedrooms, providing cooling, heating and de-humidifying and each room can be controlled separately. It also has large walk in shower in both bathrooms. There is a remote controlled awning to shade the terrace if required. It has a dedicated free car parking space in the garage beneath the apartment.

Our family had a great stay and the condo is centrally located to the Marbella and Malaga areas. The condo was quiet, clean, and the kitchen well stocked to make meals at home. You definitely want a car to get around and the garage parking was a huge bonus instead of trying to find tight street parallel parking each night. The pool area was nice and I felt safe at this location. If you drive to the top of the new neighborhood (golf course) there is a lovely restaurant and view.

The roads on the outside of the complex are very narrow, steep and full of parked cars. It was difficult to find the right garage especially in the dark. There is a designated parking spot in the garage of the condo. I’m not sure if I didn’t read the directions well enough but we had a very difficult time finding this in the middle of the night when we arrived on the day of checkin. GPS is not helpful with the maze of one way streets in the neighborhood. I advise to make sure you have clear directions to find the correct garage and know how to find and use the small box and key to open the garage door upon arrival and also to locate the box on the inside of the garage for when you leave the garage. The condo is cheerfully decorated and we enjoyed the balcony with the view of the Mediterranean Sea in the background . Also very pretty sunsets. We couldn’t ask for nicer weather. It’s a lovely climate.

Wir waren im Juli fĂŒr eine Woche da.Das Appartement ist sehr gut mittig in der Anlage gelegen, so dass man vom Balkon aus einen Blick ĂŒber den Pool hat. Die Ausstattung ist auch in der KĂŒche vollstĂ€ndig, so dass man alles findet was man braucht.Es sind mehrere StrĂ€nde innerhalb von 15 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Über die Hauptstraße kommt man sicher ĂŒber eine FußgĂ€ngerbrĂŒcke.Sehr netter Kontakt zum Vermieter und zu der Betreuung vor Ort. Wir hatten bei der Anreise ein Problem mit dem Schloss, das sofort gelöst wurde, obwohl es schon Abend war.Vielen Dank an Geoff und Teresa fĂŒr die schnelle Hilfe und die schöne Zeit in dem Appartment.

Perfect location

Great location close to Capobino Beach and multiple other beaches. Great restaurants around. I would recommend to hire a car as cheaper option than airport transfers and taxis. Underground allocated parking spot is perfect. Host is great at communicating. Apartment kitchen is fully equipped should you want to eat in some nights. Balcony catches evening sun so great to sit out and relax without always going out . WIFI good and TV an added bonus if needed.

Our holiday at La Reserva de Marbella

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in La Reserva de Marbella. The owner Geoff surpassed himself with his excellent communication. Every email was answered quickly. The information sheet provided covered everything from basic info on the apartment to restaurants and places of interest in the area. The apartment was clean and well equipped for cooking. We didn’t hire a car so could say that the area is very hilly and transportation would be recommended. All in all, an excellent stay!

Wir waren eine Woche im Apartment nahe Marbella. Das Apartment ist hervorragend eingerichtet, alles notwendige ĂŒber SpĂŒlmaschine und Waschmaschine steht zur VerfĂŒgung. Auch ein reservierter Parkplatz in der Tiefgarage steht kostenfrei bereit. Es gibt zwei Badezimmer Mit zwei Duschen und dazu eine Wanne. FĂŒr uns als Familie perfekt. Alles war sauber, frisch und der Gastgeber sehr freundlich und direkt in der Kommunikation. Wir wĂŒrden hier jederzeit wieder buchen! Vielen Dank fĂŒr diese tolle Ferienwohnung!

Our winter getaway

Our host Geoff has a lovely property that we rented for February. It suited us to the letter. Everything was as described and if there was any slightest issue, it was sorted straight away. We had various family come over and stay with us at different times, all accepted with ease. The underground garage was a great bonus. Many thanks Geoff. See you next year.

Schönes Apartment in ruhiger Lage

Die Wohnung ist groß und gerĂ€umig, zwei Schlafzimmer und zwei BĂ€der, KĂŒche und Wohnzimmer. Das Bett war bequem und auch schön groß.In der KĂŒche ist alles was man braucht, schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber funktional. Die Wohnung ist etwas hellhörig, gegen Abend waren GerĂ€usche ĂŒber uns zu hören.Es gibt einen Tiefgaragenstellplatz, die Einfahrt ist groß und der Platz selber auch. Leider kann man das Tor von innen nicht öffnen. Dies geht nur mit einer Fernbedienung oder einem Transponder, den wir nicht hatten. Zum Strand fĂ€hrt man mit dem Auto ca. 5 Minuten, zu Fuß ca. eine halbe Stunde.Alles in allem haben wir uns in der Wohnung wohl gefĂŒhlt und haben den Aufenthalt genossen.

Value for money

The property allthough a little bit dated ticked a lot of boxes for a prolong stay ,everything you needed was provided for .The pool, even late into the season was warm enough for a daily swim and was well maintained . The garage space was large and convenient and secure. The downside was really only that it was on the wrong side of the main road so a car really is a must especially if you have any difficulty at all with steep hills

Sejour de 2 mois dans l'appartement de Geoff. Idéalement placé en face des superbes dunes de Artolas, à 12 km de Marbella et 12km de Mijas Pueblo, Malaga n'étant qu'à 40 km.Rue trÚs pentue pour accéder à l'appartement et en sens unique du fait de stationnement de véhicules sur la gauche en montant.Dommage que la grande piscine ne soit pas remplie à cette époque de l'année, ne serait ce que pour l'esthétisme.Appartement avec tout le confort nécessaire TrÚs bon relais au niveau du relationnel avec Theresa et son compagnon.

The development is located just to the east of Marbella town and close to one of the best beaches on the coast and the lovely marina at Cabopino. There are many restaurants, beaches, bars, golf clubs, shops and amusements in the area and the famous resort and marina of Puerto Banus is within easy reach. Things to do and see in the local area include Water Sports, Water Parks, Wild Life Park, Sea Life Centre, Adventure Park, Theme Park, Butterfly Park, Crocodile Park, Zoo, Paragliding, Trampolines and Cinemas plus of course the Sea, the Beaches, beach Bars and even Shopping if you want to. Malaga airport is around thirty five minutes away by car and car hire is advised to get the very best from the holiday. A car is by far the best way to get around the area, get to and from the airport, go to the beach, sightseeing and shopping. There is however a good bus service along the main coast round which is a five minute walk away. This service goes to Marbella, Fuengirola and beyond. There are also local taxi services available. The nearest railway station is at Fuengirola with trains to AMalaga and the airport. This service does not go any further west than Fuengirola. Malaga airport is 40 Km away, about thirty five minutes by car and car hire is advised to get the best from the holiday. The recommended company to use for car hire is DoYouSpain. The car can be collected at and returned to Malaga airport. If hiring a car it is strongly recommended you take out insurance cover with insurance4carhire as the insurance cover provided in Spain is minimal.

The Costa del Sol is the most popular holiday destination in Spain, with it's golden-sand beaches, stunning coastline and such popular and world-renowned places like Marbella, Puerto Banus, Gibratar, Fueringola, Benalmadena, There are plenty of places to explore inland including Mijas Pueblo and Ronda and the white villages of Ojen and Monda etc. The cities of Malaga, Granada, Sevilla, Cadiz and Cordoba are not far away. You can even catch a ferry to Morocco. You will have plenty to do and see.
