Det är bara en 10 minuters promenad till den gyllene sanden på Treyarnon Bay - en underbar familj strand perfekt för surfning och utforska hällkar. En av de bästa stränderna på norra kusten.

Primrose Cottage är privat och fridfullt och med alla dess charm och karaktär här egenskapen är perfekt för familjer och de som bara vill komma bort från allt.

I närheten i Padstow, bara 3 miles bort finns det gott om butiker, gallerier och restauranger eller om det finns ett urval av bra restauranger i den lokala byn St Merryn, bara en mil bort.

Easter Family trip

The house was really great for our Easter family trip with two families (4 adults, 6 kids). There is enough space for everyone. Everything you need is there, especially a washing machine, dryer and dishwasher. It is a bit noisy, but that's the way it is with old houses. The location on the street is not ideal, the children could only play in the garden, otherwise it would have been too dangerous, but at least there was a garden.

Our 10th year of staying at Primrose Cottages

This year we celebrated our 10th consecutive year of holidaying at Primrose Cottage. It is perfect for our needs and never fails to satisfy. The cottage has so much charm and it ticks all the boxes when we look for a coastal holiday with the dogs. Unlike many dog friendly cottages the flooring is a great combination of slate and carpet. Not having laminate for the dogs to slip on is just perfect.

Great place for a large group

We rented both Primrose and Arnold cottages for our party of 12. We were all able to get round the table at Primrose and did all the catering there. It was a great location and even though it was November we enjoyed surfing on the nearby beaches.

Home from Home

Primrose cottage, is ideally set for peace & tranquility. We as a family have being staying at the cottage for the past 15 years. Many happy memories collected & saved. The enclosed garden is ideal for children & dogs, games played on the large lawn too. Ideal for the beach a short distance away at Treyarnon Bay. The cottage is our home from home, & we will be back again next year.

A lovely cottage snd wonderful location

This will be the third time we have stayed in Primrose Cottage for our Cornish summer holidays. We have been coming every year to Cornwall for 35 years and love this area. The cottage is a brilliant place to enjoy a big family holiday with lots of space to spread out and relax. The location is ideal as it is only a short walk to Treyarnon Bay - one of our favourite beaches .The garden is a wonderful place to sit out in as it is very sheltered and gets the sun throughout the whole day. The grassy area is ideal for young children to play in and be safe. We would like to thank Joanna especially for making the cottage such a welcoming place to arrive in and for quickly sorting out any problems we have had while staying in the cottage We look forwards to our holiday at Primrose Cottage in August 2023

Fabulous Location, great food and lots of sunshine

We had a lovely time at Primrose Cottage. Great location and fab beaches. No working sun umbrella for the patio thus no shade available whilst eating outside. This was noted to the caretaker on arrival but not rectified during our stay. This was disappointing customer service. Apart from this, we had a fabulous stay and I would recommend this property to others, particularly if you want to be close to great beaches

Primrose Heaven

Beautiful old cottage perfectly situated near enough to be able to walk to Treyarnon bay. Quiet and peaceful . Gorgeous beds and linen. Well equipped kitchen. Have stayed before and was a bit disappointed that I wasn’t informed that the games , books and dvds had been removed. ( understand covid restrictions etc) Also no basic condiments available.? Considering that it was beginning of the season the garden needed a bit of work. Overall very happy.

Great location but house is tired and grubby

The location is really good for a number of beaches. The rooms are a good size. The garden and parking are fine. The house is very tired and was pretty grubby when we arrived. The kitchen is really poor. There is virtually no worktop space and the table doesn't fit the room properly. The house is 4 out of 10 and most of those points are for the location.

Lovely, well equipped cottage with lovely aspect for eating out in the evenings

We were lucky enough to stay at Primrose cottage last week (July 2018) and really enjoyed the character of the cottage, it is pretty, quaint and full of charm. The weather was fantastic and we ate all our meals outside, which was pretty special. Two points to make, it does sleep 10 very comfortably but having two bathrooms without a separate toilet was quite interesting! Lucky for us we are family and just got on with it, queueing is very british! The walk to the beach across the field is not quite as easy as it sounds, as the second field is waist high grass and brambles, which our small dog did not enjoy. We made the mistake of walking up the hill and down the first lane towards the sea and were escorted back to the lane by the very unfriendly tractor driver, who announced it was a private lane. After that encounter, we took one car to the beach and everyone else walked along the lane. We had a fantastic holiday, and look forward to coming again next year.

Very beautiful and roomy

We arrived to a nice clean house and were impressed with the property. We had a really nice week staying at this house, it’s close to a few quiet bays and only 5 mins from Padstow and would stay again. Only few bad points I can think of is although it’s got 5 bedrooms, one bedroom is accessed through another bedroom so would be no good if you weren’t family. Also because we had a few toddlers with us we had a few problems child proofing, it has a stair gate at the top of the stairs but not the bottom so had to make a barrier and the same at the top of the steps on the patio. I know it’s only a small problem that won’t affect most guests but might be something the homeowner can find a solution to. Other than that we would highly recommend this property

Cottage is very well looked after, large and has it all.

We felt ourselves really relaxing in this cottage. It feels luxury and had everything we needed. The kids had a good time at the football table, nice walks in the area. Clean, beautiful and well stocked cottage.
