En stuga med 5 sovrum med fantastisk utsikt över kusten och stranden. Sky TV, BT Infinity 30MB Wi-Fi, brännare, 4 badrum / duschrum; tre av dem ensuiter. Beach Cottage ligger 300 meter från Blue Flag-stranden i Porthtowan, en liten by vid havet med en sandstrand på 1 mil, inramad av National Trust-skyddade kustlinjer och betjänas av RNLI livräddare. Utsikten från Beach Cottage är underbar, över stranden och längs kusten till St. Ives. Lär dig att surfa på den legendariska Tris Surf eller njuta av body-boarding. På stranden ligger "Blue Bar", en pub för god pubguide med bra mat. I närheten av caféet Chapel Porth National Trust finns den världsberömda HedgeHog-glassen. Vandrare tar SW-kustvägen från slutet av trädgården. Super läge, 8 minuters bilresa från A30, centralt för de flesta av Cornwalls attraktioner.

Great spot

Loved the location. Beach and cliff walks right on your doorstep. Had everything I needed. Kettle was a bit hit and miss and the sky had no signal however that didn’t ruin my stay. As expected with a holiday rental a lot of wear and tare through disregard from previous guests. Very warm place with fabulous views of the countryside and beach below. All recommended beaches are within an hour of the property . St Agnes is a great view point which is only 10 mins away. A local shop is a few metres walk away and they are very friendly. Major supermarkets about 20 mins away but getting a delivery was well worth it. Would definitely come again. The dogs loved it and was a great birthday vacation.

This house and its location are stunning. We has such a great time here and loved the well equiped kitchen. The house was clean and warm, wish we could have stayed for longer.

A good location for us, however the walk back up the hill from the beach is challenging to say the least. The property generally in good condition but could do with a little love

Family get away

Ar first seemed but rough round the edges! BUT very clean and comfortable. Great bathrooms and comfy beds. Plenty of space for us party of 10. Great decking with amazing views. We will be back.!

This is a well-equipped Cottage with good facilities. Location is great, right on the SW Coastal Path with 2 pubs on the Blue Flag sandy beach close-by.

Great stay!

We had a great time celebrating my mum and her partner finally getting married after 25 years together. The house was lovely and great value for money. The views are incredible! The only downside for us was the neighbours made it more than clear they are not happy about a holiday let being on the street, (more than happy to discuss this with the own otherwise, a great stay.

Wonderful views, perfect location

Our second visit to this property, great location a few minutes from the beach and coast path. Sunny deck to watch the sunset and early morning surfers and good property layout with lots of space for bigger groups.. didnt want to come home.

We loved this property - the views from many windows was amazing and we were lucky with the weather for most of our stay. The approach to the property is interesting - narrow road full of potholes so drive with care and slowly!!

Just wonderful

Very happy with our stay. Large house. 4 toilets with the two bathrooms and two showers. Well equipped kitchen. Toaster, kettle, coffee machine etc. Beautiful view. Perfect bedding. Would come again and again.

Summer Reunion

Fantastic and very special property with great layout and views. We were a group of 9 adults for our annual meetup. We found the place a great launching point for various Cornwall adventures, as well as a wonderful place to simply relax at the house. Very easy in and out. Good WiFi. A couple of good restaurants (Unicorn and Blue Bar) in walking distance and the access to the Coastal Path was phenomenal!

Lush Stay with beautiful views

Stayed here for a few nights with friends. 10 of us altogether- plenty of space. The views are incredible here and the house is just a great house to chill in and have home cooked meals with friends! Would definitely stay here again!

Family holiday

My family and I enjoyed staying at this property - nice lay out so you all have your own little bit of space but nice big communal areas for spending time together - the hosts have left lots of condiments/cleaning products/utensils so you don’t need to buy/take lots of things with you - really pretty view. Sunsets are 10/10 and are visible from most of the house. The nearby beach has a lovely local/community feel to it. Overall - very happy with our stay

Family celebration

We all had a fantastic stay, the views are breath taking, log fire was an added bonus on a couple of rainy cold nights, house was big enough for our party of 10, only down side the cooker takes for ages to cook food, bedroom upstairs window is very drafty, beautiful house just needs some TLC, local beach bars would highly recommend them

Wonderful house!

We stayed for 3 nights over a Weekend in March, and even with iffy (cold, bit rainy) it was wonderful. House is exactly as shown in the pics - immaculate -- with unexpected beautiful views from not only the family room (with huge expanse of glass including out onto the patio) but also from the master and from the kitchen. The setting at the end of the street means you get both water and headline views, with nothing in between, and walk directly unto the headland trails. Big kitchen, big dining room, plenty of comfy beds and bathrooms for 10 people. Loved this, will plan to come back,.

We are a family with Cornish roots who love Porthtowan. We bought the Beach Cottage for the stunning views over the beach and coastline beyond. We furnished the house to a high standard with 1 to 2 families in mind, so you can have a relaxing holiday in Cornwall.

Varför värden valde detta boende

Porthtowan is a hidden gem. One of only 10 Blue Flag beaches in Cornwall with lifeguards during the season. There are two pubs and two cafes close to the beach. You may not want to leave Porthtowan, the good news is that the village is 8 minutes from the A30 so a great base to explore Cornwalls attractions.

The BBC including Porthtowan in an article about “10 beautiful places to visit in the UK” though still very much a “hidden gem”
