Beach House ligger 100 meter från Blue Flag-stranden i Porthtowan, en liten by vid havet med en fantastisk sandstrand på 1 mil, inramad av National Trust-skyddade kustlinjer och betjänas av RNLI livräddare. Lär dig att surfa på den legendariska Tris Surf eller njut av spänningen i naturen som ligger på en skumkroppsbräda. På stranden ligger "Blue Bar", en pub för god pubguide med bra mat, och caféet Chapel Porth National Trust, hem för den världsberömda HedgeHog-glassen. Vandrare tar den sydvästra kustvägen från grinden genom UNESCO: s världsarv North Cornwall. För cyklister: ta en 11 mil kust-till-kust cykelväg längs gamla järnvägslinjer och en av de bästa BMX-anläggningarna i Storbritannien ligger i närheten. Bra läge för hela Cornwall, bara 5 minuter från A30. 20 minuter till Truro, 30 minuter till Newquay, Falmouth och St Ives. St Michaels Mount, Padstow, Lands End och Eden Project ligger inom 45 minuters radie.

Great Beach Home

The property was extremely clean and well-stocked. It's a beautiful home with a beautiful view of the beach. We really enjoyed our time there. The driveway is a killer and there are several steps to the entrance, but the climb is so worth it! Thanks for a great few days in Porthtowan!

Lovely property with great views, comfortable and well equipped. We've stayed in the village several times but this was our first time in this house, I'm sure it won't be the last.Lots of steps up to the property, might be a problem for older and less physically fit people, but weren't a problem for us. The views are worth it! We found the steep driveway a bit of a problem but found parking elsewhere

Great location and beautiful views

Lovely stay, nice house took advantage of the beach which was lovely. Great bar by the sea nearby. Some decor needs refreshing and the single day beds are not suitable for teens as too restrictive. House has everything you need but bring firewood and kindling as not much provided.

February half term get away

Lovely place to stay We went for morning walks on the beach Used the blue bar and had a wonderful meal at the unicorn which are both less then a 5min walk Used the post office to buy a pint of milk again 2 min walk The house was amazing every thing you need to stay felt very safe in the area used the carpark to park tge cars didnt use the drive

Perfect place for a family holiday so close to the beach and with amazing views!

Great house, location. Fantastic balcony and fire pit area with incredible views. It was a relaxing, comfortable and easy stay with everything we could have needed.

The house is beautifully situated above the village. You have a great view of the beach. We felt very comfortable in the house. We have rarely vacationed in such a well-equipped and beautifully furnished house.

Great spot

Nice property with plenty of space. We stayed in winter but the deck would obviously be lovely in summer! Parking is available but is tricky and not ideal if you have a van - up a steep ramp and then requires reversing down a narrow lane to get out. Not impossible but not easy! There is parking in the village which was easily accessible when we stayed.

Wonderful stay with friends for a 70th birthday celebration. Spacious house with flexible accommodation and stunning views of the beach. Good restaurant close by and very good details and communication from the owner. Thoroughly recommend.

We are a family with Cornish roots who love Porthtowan. We bought the Beach Cottage for the stunning views over the beach and coastline beyond. We furnished the house to a high standard with 1 to 2 families in mind, so you can have a relaxing holiday in Cornwall.

Varför värden valde detta boende

The North Cornwall Coast is simply stunning, crossing the River Tamar from England lifts the spirit and you know you are in a special place. Porthtowan is a hidden gem of a beach, though its place in the development of surfing in the UK has increased its popularity. With over a mile of sand you will always have plenty of space even in highest summer.

We dreamed of a home with a sea view and Beach House has just that. No driving to the car park, just walk down and back at your leisure. Of course Cornwall has many other attractions and Porthtowan is centrally located for most of them.
