Stor och ljus 2-säng nära Portobello Market & Tub

Med stora fönster, 10 meter höga tak och en enkel men glittrande inredning, är mitt hem allt ditt och det erbjuder den perfekta basen i London. Portobello Market ligger runt hörnet, 15 minuters promenad från Kensington Gardens, och tunnelbanestationen Ladbroke Grove ligger 150 meter bort.

Lägenheten är rymliga, ljusa och nyligen moderniserats och upptar hela första våningen i ett stort viktorianska hus (i e andra våningen i US-tala -.. En upp från marknivån). Ett sovrum är större än det andra, men båda har dubbelsängar och det stora mottagningsrummet (5 x 5 meter) är en härlig plats att umgås.

Det ser ut på lime, flyg och ask, medan stora fönster fönster och franska dörrar håller alla rum översvämmade med ljus under dagen. Ekgolvet har nyligen renoverats. Mattor, kuddar och soffor gör saker comfy, och gjutjärn radiatorer kommer att hålla dig varm som rostat bröd.

Alla köksapparater är nya (kyl / frys, mikrovågsugn, spis, diskmaskin och tvättmaskin), liksom badrummet, där du har valet av antingen ett badkar eller en power-shower.

De platta ryggar på Westway, en överfart genom centrala London. Akustisk glas håller bullret till ett minimum, men det är aldrig helt tyst, och lätta sliprar kanske vill titta på andra håll. Den platta är rökfria, men det finns en stor takterrass (ca 120 kvadratfot) där du är välkommen att lysa upp på din fritid.

Du kommer att ha nytt lakan, handdukar och grundläggande toalettartiklar, hårtork, strykjärn, sockeladaptrar för amerikanska och europeiska pluggar och alla vanliga köksredskap du kan förvänta dig, inklusive vattenkokare, brödrost och matlagning. Det finns en storskärms-TV med kabelanslutning, och den 100 Mb långa Wi-Fi-anslutningen är både snabb och pålitlig.

Om du behöver hjälp med något under din vistelse, kommer jag att vara i närheten.

Även om jag har angett 11:00 som en check-out tid, det är bara för att undvika problem om jag har människor som anländer och lämnar på samma dag. Jag brukar vara glad för att du lämnar ditt bagage på lägenheten eller att hänga till tills senare på dagen. På samma sätt ska jag göra mitt bästa för att rymma en tidig incheckning.

Comfortable, convenient and relaxing

I really enjoyed my time (4 weeks) in this space. It’s comfortable and feels more like a home than many that I’ve stayed in. It’s convenient to good restaurants and public transportation. The nearby Portobello Road and the restaurants and shops there are quaint and relaxing. The host is very communicative and helpful. And, he provided all of the extras that I needed to make my stay comfortable. I will highly recommend this to anyone that I know.

Nice and convenient apartment and location

We had a really nice stay in the apartment. The location is convenient, close to the tube, supermarkets, restaurants and the Portobello market, plus you get a real London feel away from the tourist crowds. Sadakat is a really nice host and even left us welcoming cold drinks and snacks. We were able to have an early check-in which made a huge difference to us as we had a very early morning arrival. I would have liked a bigger bed in the main bedroom. Also, it was a bit difficult sleeping with the balcony door in the bedroom open due to traffic noise (we had a couple of very warm days), but when it was closed you didn't hear the traffic at all. I would definitely stay there again.

Brilliant place in perfect location

We loved our stay here. From first booking to the check out, everything was as smooth as we could have hoped and Sadakat is fantastic to communicate with. The place itself exceeded our expectations - big, clean, comfy beds and so central with a bus stop across the road, train a 3 minute walk away and shopping around the corner. Would not hesitate in recommending this property to anyone - you will love it.

Everything was as stated. Even a few extra nice things when we got there. Fresh flowers and bottle of wine. The owner was kind enough to give us a listing of places to eat and shop. Super helpful.

First visit to London

The host Sadakat was amazing to communicate and deal with. Prompt replies to any questions we had. We arrived 12 hours later than planned due to airline issues and he met us at the door at midnight with a smile. He had even offered to go buy us groceries as we arrived after all the stores were closed. Location was very close to bus and subway which was great. Felt a bit uneasy at night walking from the subway (tube). 10 minute walk to Portobello Street with lots of shops. My wife, daughter and myself loved our time in London. We would stay there again! Thanks for being a gracious host Sadakat.

Perfect Location!

This flat is in the perfect location in the Notting Hill area! Steps away from the underground tube, amazing restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping. Very spacious and super comfortable. It had everything we needed! Would definitely stay here again!

Highly Recommended!

Location and premise exactly as described! Easy access to buses and tubes. Highway noise is definitely not an issue - hardly noticeable. We would stay here again at our next London visit!

Great location in an interesting neighborhood

We stayed at the flat for a month and loved it! It is incredibly convenient-one block- from the London Tube and several bus lines, fresh veggie and grocery shopping less than a minute walk away, and many interesting restaurants within 2 blocks. The flat has 2 nice quiet bedrooms,a great bathroom with tub, and a small but well-stocked kitchen that is easy to cook in. We cooked a lot and it was a real money saver. Sadakat was a great landlord-very welcoming and immediately met every request we had. One note: the area is residential and charming, though the nearest corner by the Tube station is very "urban intense", however we always felt safe. We highly recommend the property. Enjoy!

Perfect London stay!

The flat is exactly as described, quiet, 2 double bedrooms, huge front windows with a wonderful view, spacious living room, kitchen with all the conveniences (including washer & dryer), large bathroom and great location with a short walk to Portobello Market and Ladbroke Grove tube station. The flat is located in a safe neighbourhood and there are tons of great restaurants and grocery stores close by. Our exceptional host Sadakat, couldn't have been more helpful or accommodating, he offered us an early check-in and went out of his way to help us get a cab to the airport during the Notting Hill Carnival. Everything you need for a perfect vacation in London is right here. We would absolutely come back! Kathy W.

Five nights during Easter holidays 2018

Sadakat's apartement is really comfortable and welcoming and Sadakat is a careful and earnest host. The apartment is exactly as described, with two double bedrooms and a large living. About the bedrooms: one is large and comfortable, in the second one there is little room for two people, but it is surely accettable. We found the apartement perfectly tidy. Underground station (Circle line) is at 50 meters, and so are the stops of many buses that can take you everywhere in London. Sadakat gave us a lot of informations about food and transport, very useful. All in all, a great stay.

Great place for travel companions. Two private bedrooms, fully stocked kitchen, and close to tube

Varför värden valde detta boende

As you may already know, the flat is in one of London's most vibrant and eclectic districts. Portobello's legendary weekend market is a couple of hundred metres along the road, and there are both dive bars and upscale eateries (including a Michelin 2-star restaurant) just minutes away. Within a quarter of a mile, you can dine at Moroccan, French, Lebanese, Iranian, Ethiopian, Swedish, Chinese, Thai, Japanese, Mexican, Jamaican, Indian, Turkish, Palestinian, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and Malaysian restaurants - or just grab some fish 'n' chips down the pub. Sainsbury & Tesco have branches within 100 metres, and there's a 24-hour convenience store next to the tube. And when you feel like a walk, the greenery of Holland Park and Kensington Gardens is a (very pleasant) 15-20 minute stroll away.

You can reach almost anywhere in central London within half an hour. The apartment is two minutes to Ladbroke Grove underground station (on the Hammersmith and City Line), which has easy links to all of London's transport hubs. It's just three stops to Paddington (and its Heathrow Express airport train); eight stops, also direct, to the Eurostar and Luton Airport connections at Kings Cross/St Pancras International station; and one additional stop on the same line to Farringdon, from which trains run regularly to Gatwick Airport. Alternatively, you're a 15-minute walk away from the Central Line stations at Holland Park and Notting Hill Gate. Five or six buses stop nearby (including 24-hour nightbuses), and they can collectively take you pretty much anywhere in London: Oxford Street, the British Museum, the National Gallery, Knightsbridge, the museums of South Kensington, Victoria, the River Thames, Liverpool Street/Brick Lane, and so on.
