Hus med pool och magnifik utsikt 15 'från centrum

La Piazzetta är en del av en magnifik villa som byggdes under andra hälften av XVII-talet i bergen mellan Florens och Fiesole. På 1970-talet genomgick den en fullständig omstrukturering och är nu ett helt oberoende och charmigt hus med egen ingång, terrass, trädgård och pool. För fem år sedan genomgick det ytterligare en totalrenovering. Den har centralvärme, luftkonditionering, wifi och satellit-TV-anslutning. Vardagsrummet, terrassen och poolen har fantastisk utsikt över Fiesole och Florens från Duomo till kullarna i Impruneta. Huset ligger i en trädgård med olivträd och cypresser och från maj till oktober kan du njuta av alla freskomålar på terrassen med utsikt över detta vackra panorama. Stadens centrum (Piazza della liberta) ligger 15 minuter bort (6. 4 km) med bil eller 20 minuter med buss. Busshållplatsen ligger 800 meter från huset. Detta fantastiska läge gör att du kan besöka den livliga stadskärnan och dess konstskatter och tjugo minuter senare dra sig tillbaka till denna fridfulla trädgård för att njuta av poolen bland olivträden. Själva huset ligger på två plan. På första våningen finns ett vardagsrum, 2 sovrum med dubbelsäng vardera och ett badrum med dusch. Nedervåningen kan ett stort kök med bord och sex stolar fungera som matsal. Det finns också ett sovrum och ett badrum med badkar samt en separat tvättstuga. Utanför en terrass välkomnar du dig med ett bord och stolar för sex. I trädgården är poolen och soldäcket bland olivträd utrustade med paraply och solstolar. Vi rekommenderar att du städar huset en gång i veckan och byter sängkläder. Vi kan också ordna privata besök i Florens med professionella guider som är expert på denna vackra stads konsthistoria.

Great house, the outside deck and pool areas are particularily good and the view is fabulous! If you are going to stay here soon though beware there are extensive road works in the area making it difficult to get anywhere

Lovely stay

Beautiful property, gorgeous view, good beds and amenities. Pool area is also wonderful. Neighborhood is mostly quiet. All in all a very nice place to stay. Being able to manage stairs is a necessity.

Fantastic view.

We had the best time staying here. The views of Florence are wonderful, whether from the terrace or by the pool. It is also very quiet and peaceful, yet only 15 minutes from Florence.

Stunning views

We had an amazing week, the pool and views over Florence are stunning. The apartment is great and has everything you need. We got groceries delivered by Esselunga a casa and a great pizza delivery from Pizzeria Antica Badia. The bus into town was easy and then a taxi back. The owner was great at communicating and we had a wonderful welcome. Will be recommending to our friends!

Holidays in heaven (of Florence)

We had a wonderful stay in this beutifull house with an extraordinary view of Florence. There could be no better place to enjoy the cultural offers of the city and nevertheless beeing able to escape the hustle within minutes, whenever it becomes to hot and crowded. Everything in the house and the extraordinary garden and Pool was in perfect shape. The reception at arrival and the local organisation by Cecilia was extremely friendly and competent and we got many helpfull informations. Overall we can strongly recommend this extraordinary holiday home without any restriction. Everyone who loves to discover not only the city of Florence but also its vicinity and the beautifull hills of tuscany won‘t find a better place.

Amazing views

We really enjoyed our stay at Fabrizia’s. The property, pool, and views are amazing. Rosalba, the house manager, was extremely helpful and easy to work with. She even drove us to the grocery store since we arrived on a Sunday and it would be difficult for us to get food that day. We really appreciated her help. That said, we were disappointed to learn upon arrival that the air conditioning was not working and wouldn’t be repaired for the entirety of our month long stay. Having paid a premium for A/C and it being extremely hot in Florence this was definitely not ideal. A heads up prior to arrival would have been appreciated. We liked that the property was a bit out of the hustle and bustle of the city, but be prepared to learn the bus schedule or order a cab! Many thanks to Fabrizia for hosting us. We definitely made memories to last a lifetime!

A nature experience only 15 min's from Firenze city center by car

The property presented exactly as advertised. We were received at the agreed time by a very professional and welcoming Cecilia, who by the way speaks a delightfully clear English. The rooms fit our expectations, the deck is a marvel - and the treck to the pool is definitely worth every step on the custom built staircase, with a superb area for leisure. Parking was "spicy" to someone used to rather more flat countryside, but that was only to be expected when renting a property on the mountainside. Unexpected "bonus" for us was the lush pool towels supplied, as well as the mosquito deterrants left by the owners to assist with minimizing the unwelcome attentions by that particular part of nature. Only one 'negative' feature to comment - which after a couple of days was turned to a positive; the downstairs bedroom is fairly damp and cool. However, that came to be the teen's favorite afternoon place-to-be when not out and about. So all in all a warm recommendation from me to this retreat. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Very disappointing

Pool The pool was definitely not clean when we arrived as I went down there with my daughter the first morning and remarked how dirty the bottom of the pool was We naively assumed that someone would be coming shortly to clean it Cleaning a pool once per week is not acceptable especially as it was dirty to start with and became disgusting and unusable Properly description No mention is made of the 50 steps to the pool or that this villa would be unsuitable for anyone with who has any sort of problem with lots of steps. We were expecting some but not 50! Villa described as House with its own entrance terrace and pool but random people and dogs appear round the pool each day Kitchen horrified when we arrived as the kitchen smelt strongly of mould - quite disgusting. Luckily after a couple of days of leaving the window open the smell dissipated. However all food and drink still had to be carried upstairs as the kitchen chairs so low they are unusable. Plus not sufficient cutlery plates and no large water glasses The dumb waiter does not work which means all food and drink has to be carried up a steep flight of stairs. Access Only access via a sliding door which keeps sticking and jamming Altogether a 2-3 star experience at a 5 star price!

Goed voorziene accommodatie met prachtig uitzicht

Ontvangst/intake was prettig en informatief. Schoon huis met ruime voorzieningen. De slaapkamer beneden bij de keuken was wat bedompt/vochtig: een airco daar zou een aanrader zijn. Het uitzicht is prachtig, en (de ruimte bij) het zwembad is heel fijn! Heel goede accommodatie om met een gezelschap te genieten van het huis en de omgeving.

Chilled out stay

Property & facilities are great. The 50 steps down to the pool should be mentioned on the description but was not a problem for us.. Mosquitoes were a pain but that’s just how it goes at that to me e of year. Cecilia was a great help, for check in/out and support with any questions we had. Thank you

Toller Außenbereich, Riesenpool, mittelmäßiges Haus

Das Haus hat eine tolle Lage in den Hügeln von Florenz. Fussläufig ist zwar kaum etwas zu erreichen, die Buslinie ist aber sehr hilfreich, um in 20 Minuten bis in die Innenstadt von Florenz zu gelangen. Der Pool, die Aussicht etc. sind kaum besser zu bekommen, einfach klasse! Die Beschreibung des Hauses ist leider nicht besonders aussagekräftig, es handelt sich nicht um ein eigenes Ferienhaus, sondern um ein Zweifamilienhaus mit mindestens einer weiteren Bewohnerin. Leider gibt es keine Bilder von außen, eindeutige, offensichtliche Hinweise oder einen Grundriss, an denen man es hätte erkennen können. Der Urlaub war dennoch sehr schön und erholsam, trotz extrem hoher Temperaturen. Cecilia hat uns das Haus sehr nett und kompetent übergeben. Also alles in allem ein schöner Urlaub, herzlichen Dank!

Family stay - multi generation

Generally a fabulously located and stylish house with gorgeous pool area and terrace with sublime view of Florence. Lovely seating areas outside. The house is nice but a bit awkward for 6 (including teens and a 81 year old) and the kitchen is not so handy for the terrace upstairs. The downstairs bedroom fine for teen boys but May not suit a couple. It really needed a fan as a bit stuffy as partly below ground. Some in the family would have liked to be able to lock the Jack and Jill bathroom but it wasn’t really an issue. Rosalba was very efficient in helping us and letting us in and replacing the toaster. If you want a beautiful outside space and view as a priority then this is the house. If you want luxury inside space it does not offer that but is for all normal purposes comfortable and fine for a family visit.

Lovely property. Amazing pool and views. Rosalba was extremely helpful.

The property had everything we needed. Comfortable beds, air con and a well equipped kitchen. The views of Florence are amazing, even during a storm. The pool is large and deep for diving, but with steps in for easy access. We loved our stay and would highly recommend to others.

Famille 3 enfants en toscane

Une vue exceptionnelle sur Florence !!! Terrasse et grande piscine avec vue sur Florence sont les atouts de cette maison idéalement située pour découvrir Florence et pour partir découvrir les trésors de la Toscane (Sienne, Lucques, Pise, San Gimignano le Chianti etc à env 1h.. ). Un accueil et un sens du service très chaleureux. Un grand merci. Nous recommandons.

Beautiful villa close to Florence

This property is wonderful. The house is lovely, clean, excellent kitchen facilities, lovely furniture and luxurious bed linen. The air conditioning keeps the property cool even in the hottest weather we had (36 deg). But it's the outdoor terrace and the pool area which are really wonderful with astonishing views over Florence, including the Duomo, big, beautiful pool with lovely furniture. Rosalbo and Teo looked after us and the garden so well. We had a wonderful week here, many thanks.

Casa ideale per un ritiro fuori dalla città

La proprietà é molto ben curata. Arredamento pensato bene con molti armadi. Arredamento molto bello e di style. L'esterno é la chicca della casa: sotto il pino con vista stupenda su Firenze, il giardino e la piscina ben attrezzata promettono una totale privacy. La zona é molto silenziosa. Un eccelente ricordo d'una vacanza rilassante

Beautiful quiet villa overlooking Florence

We enjoyed a wonderful week in this beautiful villa. The gardens and pool area are just stunning - very quiet and private with amazing views over Florence. We particularly enjoyed the contrast of being in such a peaceful area, but being able to go into Florence for dinner. The owners and property manager both were very helpful and provided all the information we needed. We look forward to visiting again in the future.

Schöne Ferien in La Lastra

Sehr schönes Haus in wunderbarer Umgebung mit einem unglaublichen Blick auf Florenz. Die Terrassen und der Poolbereich sind wirklich ein Traum! Die Vermieter und die Verwalterin sind jederzeit ansprechbar. Gerne kommen wir wieder!

Stunning pool and setting

We had a lovely stay. We did not have a car but it was a short walk to the bus stop and we easily got a taxi back from town. The local ‘village’ had a little bar and a lovely shop selling fresh bread, pasta and wine. It would have been helpful to know this - there was no information in the villa regarding this shop and the bus. Not everyone wants to drive and I can’t see why you would drive into Florence. The shared bathroom for the two double bedrooms has no locks so if sharing with friends ( or even family) this can be difficult. The pool area is absolutely stunning. The manager Rosalba is very helpful and was easily contacted. Overall an enjoyable stay Elaine and Paul

The best works of art from the renaissance period and beyond, the food, the weather and above all the people of this city are the ingredients for a memorable stay. Our house is small enough to be manageable but spacious enough to cater for 6 people comfortably. The garden is big. And the pool and terrace which you have all for yourselves will allow you to rest and enjoy the weather after a busy day visiting the sights. From here you can easily drive around Tuscany and return for the evening. We hope you enjoy it as much as you do.
