Great vacation!

We enjoyed our stay. The house was well stocked with daily necessities ( towels, kitchen appliances, pot pans and utensils , etc.). Kitchen appliances were all new. Close to Disney attractions golf, restaurants and shopping. We look forward to returning.

Great location

Villa is in a great location for Disney parks. Good outlook on to the golf course. I would say that the villa has everything you need for a great holiday but needs a little updating.

Great House and Great Neighborhood

My family and I had a great stay at this property. As with all travel, there were a few hiccups along the way, but the property manager was very responsive and helpful throughout. My family and I loved the space and the neighborhood. It was roughly 25 minutes from the Disney area with traffic, access to that and other restaurants, and a Publix less than 5 minutes away. Perfect location for a traveling group. We would stay again.

Great and safe neighborhood!

We had our annual family vacation at this home. We thoroughly enjoyed how close it was to the theme parks. The owners even left additional information for other activities around the area for entertainment. The beaches were a bit of a drive but if you can make your way to Anna Maria Island you won’t be disappointed. The home was beautiful and the owners went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was enjoyable. We will be going back.

Orlando Joy review Highland reserve

Well located beautiful villa . Good location for all parks and shopping . All bedrooms well portioned including televisions and the villa also had a tv/video/dvd entertainment room . The garage had full size pool table and many other games. The Villa was clean light and airy best part being the bedroom balcony overlooking the golf course. Would recommend this villa to all. We all had a pleasant and enjoyable stay, would hopefully like to return soon.

Great villa

Really enjoyed our stay at Michaels villa. When we arrived there was the really nice touch of coffee filters, coffee and sugar there in the kitchen I appreciated this and hadn’t seen it in any other villa before. The Villa was spotless and the management company turned up the day we arrived to make sure we were ok and if we needed anything at all. Which I also liked and thought was a great start. I also really liked the fact there was a dedicated tv room with a very comfortable reclining couch in there. What I will say is the villa is dated inside and could do with some upgrading. By the looks of some of the bedrooms this has already started and I don’t know if they are doing it room by room so don’t let that comment put you off because the villa is great and the location is perfect.

SPACIOUS HOME, CLOSE TO ALL!

Communication was great with actual OWNERS and their management. Home is a little out dated but is huge and close to all. Management company can do a better job of cleanliness. You can tell they are lazy. Perfect example,, they required us to put sheets to wash prior to check out. This is something we've always done anyway but you figure if you do what they ask, the house would be sparkling clean. That wasn't the case. However, didn't phase us as we had worse experiences.This is definitely not the owners fault. The owners were extremely attentive since our initial booking and the communication was superb.

Dirty/Fridge Broke/stained sheets

Worst place I have stayed. The communication and pictures about the home were misleading. There are stains on the carpet and bedding. The floor boards were dusty. Given three rolls of toilet paper for 9 guest for 10 days. Water was leaking from the light in ceiling in the kitchen. The fridge stopped working day 2 after we arrived and didn't have a working fridge for the rest of the 8 days. The property manager was nice and tried to help. When confronting the owners about concerns the property manager stated that the home needed fixing and looked dirty. Unfortunately, the owners are not putting any money back into the home to replace anything or fix. When communicating with owners about concerns they didn't care. No customer service. They just made excuses and comments about how I should have gotten trip insurance. I would not recommend this home to anyone staying in the area.

Great stay

This was a good property to stay at. Overall, exactly what I was looking for. The place had the right amount of bedrooms and the kitchen was nice. The reason I gave it four stars was because some of the regular maintenance needs to be followed up on. An electrician needs to come in. Many of the outlets don't work. None of the one's in the master bedroom work. Some of the vertical blinds need to be replaced in the master bedroom. You can see straight into the bedroom which made me very uncomfortable changing at night. The one's in the living room are broke too. I didn't wash any of my clothes because the wash machine had something in it that I didn't feel comfortable with washing my clothes in. I stripped the beds and the covers were dirty. They need to be cleaned. Menstrual stains and other spots.The distance from the parks was a little far too, about 45 minutes to universal, so take that into consideration and about 30 to Disney. You're probably wondering would I stay again. I would. Overall it was great! The cleaning company needs to do a better job and the maintenance company needs to do maintenance. The owners probably don't even know what's going on.

Plus sides.. love highlands reserve. Nicely situated villa, balcony overlooking golf course 14th/15th holes. Downside.. No contact as pack states would happen from either.. management company/ owners. No form left either. When I had small issues with villa I had to call management from my own phone. 2 of the 6 things were put right inway of a doorstep delivery, didn’t even get a ring/knock on the door. Advert highlights a kind of cinema room. Lots of dvds supplied by owners but.. couldn’t get to work it,& noone popped by to show us, so.. No use for our 2 weeks stay. I’d never really use a bbq whilst away but.. there were two at villa. Made us laugh they both were padlocked so you couldn’t use unless you paid extra)) Lots of dust under things that needed moving to clean ie.. (bedroom furniture) thick with dust. My wife has asthma. dust in main bedroom triggered this off. Had to take antihistamine tablets daily. Pool wasn’t clean on arrival. Management tried to tell us this was bad weather dust)) when they sent someone to clean it. It was fine the rest of stay. Overall.. Nice but, could do better for money paid out. Disappointed as we hand picked this villa ourselves on the photos/Advert.

Absolutely stunning Villa.

Highland Reserve is well situated for the 192 or the I4. It is mostly residential and the Villa Joy has an impressive view of the 6th hole. The villa is open plan, encompassing kitchen, living room and dinning area. All of which are relaxing, comfortable and have very good furniture The bedroom have all got flat screen tv. Bedding lovely and all of excellent size. Plenty of cupboard space and well equipped. I would highly recommend this Villa and look forward to our next stay.

Villa Orlando Joy May 2018

Villa Orlando Joy was a great place to stay and added value to our holiday. Plenty of room for our Adult family party. Easy access to all amenities including parks, resorts, shops, restaurants and supermarkets. Villa had everything we needed and provided an excellent home away from home for our holiday accommodation.

lots of space for family or friends visiting

House is in a quiet neighbourhood surrounded by a golf course. Close to Disney without being in the middle of the tourist area. Close to grocery, couple of good resturants that are just a good walk if you desire. This was our third year dealing with the management and the owner. Some things that were a concern over the time we have rented were delt with. The pool is always maintained. We have recommended to some people that they rent from the same owner, we do hope they are satisfied as we have been.

Great golfing location but in need of an update. Pool area can be noisy when golf course is busy.

Straight forward journey from the airport and access to the property logically simple. Limited dining options nearby but Publicx supermarket is in walking distance. We slept in the downstairs bedroom which was fairly comfortable but the bed was very noisy. Good kitchen and utility room both well equipped. Upstairs master bedroom a lot better but very warm, villa policy to keep air conditioning at 78 meant we were always hot. Pool area small especially if we had my son and his family with us.

Great home from home villa

We have just returned from 14 days at Orlando Joy situated within the Highlands Reserve. Overall the accommodation was perfect in almost every department. It was very much a home from home. Rooms were all very spacious with copious amounts of cupboard space provided to unpack. The ration of rooms to bathrooms/showers was perfect and the showers were great. The master bedroom has a magnificent veranda which overlooks the 6th tee. All rooms have flat screen TVs and there was even a separate Cinema room with a massive screen with a great selection of DVDs to choose from. Perhaps maybe a few more kids choices would have been more of benefit to our group but a good selection none the less. Great space throughout the Villa to relax and unwind after long hot days at the various nearby attractions. The Disney parks were a short drive (15mins) and Universal (apx 25mins) The pool was great and just what our party needed. The kids loved it and were in it all the time. The pool is surrounded by a safety fence which was ideal given our smallest party member was at that age where you can't let out your sight so it was a good peace of mind. The kitchen was of good standard and the ice machine in the freezer was a great help. The kitchen is left completely empty so it is perhaps an idea to bring your own kit of essentials such as dish cloths, tea towels and cleaning liquids to get you started. We found this out to our detriment as we stopped off st the shops prior to arriving at the Villa to find we had to go back out again. Our party would also have benefited from a child's high chair as none was provided. The house has A/C which was perfect to come home to after long hot days. The house is managed locally by a private company who were excellent and responded to any questions we had very quickly. We had access to a supermarket, pub and various restaurants all within walking distance. We had dinner at Applebee's and breakfast at IHOP both were excellent and would recommend. Overall we would highly recommend this Villa it is really lovely, spacious and comfortable which helped make our holiday a memorable one! If we ever manage to get back over we would have no hesitation about trying to book this Villa again.

Orlando Joy Villa Highland Reserve

The villa was even more impressive than the photo's on the web site. It certainly was a luxury villa with everything needed for a great holiday. The location is excellent for both theme parks and shopping with Publix supermarket and eating out places within a minutes ride.Would definitely recommend this villa to friends and family.

My wife and I are a retired couple who fell in love with the Highlands Reserve at Davenport and purchased our house/villa. We visit our house/villa twice a year for 6 weeks at a time. We have an excellent management company who take care of our property and our guests for us and if guests wish to contact us directly either by phone or email we answer the same day. Both we and our management company do our utmost to make our guests feel welcome so they are able to go out, enjoy themselves and come home to relax after a busy day.

One of the unique benefits of our villa is that it has a large balcony off the master bedroom. You can sit out there and enjoy the views and the occasional balloons flying past. Mainly on the week-ends.
