Groam stuga är en 18th century stuga renoverad år 2017 till moderna standarder. Stugan ligger i hjärtat av Rosemarkie byn och 4 minuters promenad från stranden. En lokal livsmedelsbutik, presentbutiker och Plough Inn ligger alla inom 3 minuters promenad. För golfentusiaster ligger stugan ca 5 minuters bilresa eller 15 minuters promenad från den historiska Fortrose & Rosemarkie Golf Course. Många andra utomhusaktiviteter finns lokalt; Dolphin spotting, segling, fiske, skytte och hill walking för att nämna några.
Groam stuga med braskamin, golvvärme och on demand varmvatten erbjuder en mysig bas varifrån du kan utforska de bredare höglandet.

Stugan ligger utanför Rosemarkie High Street i en privat gated tomt med parkering för en bil. En extra parkeringsplats finns omedelbart bredvid fastigheten om det behövs. Huset kommer med WIFI.

Observera att stugan inte är lämplig för gäster med problem med rörligheten. Trappan är ganska brant och badrummet ligger på bottenvåningen.

Groam cottage is ideal for a small family on holiday to enjoy a classic seaside The little museum next door is an amazing starting point for following the Highland Pictish trail.

Lovely property in a great area.

Great house with everything you could need. All amenities within easy reach and so close to the beach. We had a really lovely family holiday with really good weather too.

Perfect getaway

The cottage is lovely, clean, and tidy. It's got a handy drive-in with a gate. The kitchen is well equipped, the shower room is very good and the bedrooms are very comfortable. The beach is a 5 minute walk, with a great cafe 'Crofters' providing excellent food. Opposite the cottage is a small grocery store with further stores in the nearby villages

Lovely Stay in Rosemarkie

The experience was great from start to finish. All communication with Rob was excellent. The cottage was spotlessly clean when we arrived. It had all mod cons and is in a fantastic position tucked away in the beautiful Rosemarkie.

Wonderful location & excellent host!

What a wonderful place to spend our vacation! Rob was extremely helpful and I can’t say enough about what a great host he was/is. This location is perfect and is right in the middle of everything. You can walk to the beach, restaurants & pubs. It’s a beautiful cottage and I highly recommend it. Thank you Rob for sharing your home, we were so grateful to you and if we ever return we will definitely stay here again! Pros: Excellent host! Perfect location Lovely cottage Very clean (has everything you need and more) Conveniently located in the middle of everything Perfect for a family or singles Not a single negative thing to say! Haus mit allem, was man braucht

Gute Küchenutensilien vorhanden (Messerset, das Schneiden kann, ausreichend Töpfe und Pfannen, Weingläser, Flaschenöffner etc.). Küche geräumig und Gasherd mit 4 Feldern, viel Stauraum in den stabilen Schränken, die auch befüllt sind mit Geschirr etc. Wohnzimmer extra mit Kamin dann oben drei Schlafzimmer, davon zwei große und eines klein Dusche im Bad ist schön groß und gut nutzbar (Armaturen in Takt, Glaskabine), Bad groß genug, Abwasser-Ablauf manchmal etwas langsam Morgens Vögel der Umgebung aktiv (Möwen, Krähen, Tauben) Es fehlte an nichts! Gastgeber erkundigte sich nett nach dem Befinden, bot sich als Ansprechpartner an, falls was wäre Sehr kurzer Fußweg zum lokalen alten Pub Nicht weit zu einer lokalen Brauerei, die gute Biere braut (Cromarty)! Einkaufsmöglichkeit (Spar-Shop) etwas eingeschränkt (Angebot und Öffnungszeiten) direkt in der Nähe oder mit Rad / Auto schnell in den Nachbarort (Co-op, auch lokale Produkte) Zum Strand wenige Minuten zu Fuß, Mit dem Auto ca. 1/2 h nach Inverness Busverbindung dorthin auch vorhanden (Haltestelle am Spar-Shop) Haus hat um EG Fußbodenheizung, sehr angenehm Treppe im Haus etwas steil, aber gute Halteoptionen vorhanden Haus nicht geeignet für Menschen, die nicht gut Treppen laufen können, da alle Schlafzimmer im OG sind Danke an den Vermieter! Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt und er hat immer schnell reagiert auf Fragen!

Superb location for Black Isle and Inverness attractions

Ideal location for seeing the highlights of the area. Something to do whatever the weather - beaches, museums, nice pubs, biking trails, walking trails, waterfalls, the city nearby.

Groom Cottage

The Owner was very accommodating, helpful and friendly. The Property had easy parking and was ideally situated for both the beach, walks and shops, as well as being walking distance from Chanonry Point and the chance of seeing the Dolphins - which we did! Quiet location, beautiful cosy cottage with a spiral staircase.

Absolutely Fabulous!

What an amazing place! Couldn’t fault it at all, and couldn’t have gotten a better location. Rob is a superb host. Plough Inn is great for a wee drink with the locals and the Crofters Bistro is great for a meal. Thanks Rob and hope to be back very soon.

Hidden Gem

This was our second visit to Groam Cottage and we weren’t disappointed. Lovely spacious, well equipped cottage just a stones throw away from the beach and plenty of beautiful places to visit and walks for every level of fitness. Scotland is such stunning place to visit.

Groam Cottage Rosemarkie

Groam Cottage is a lovely cosy, warm cottage minutes from the beach in a quiet village. The cottage is within walking or cycling distance of Chanonry Point where dolphins can be watched at close quarters. A bonus as you can visit multiple times without any hassle, as they don't quite show every day. Beautiful walks to the Fairy Glen waterfalls and to caves along the beach from the door as well. Great cafe/ restaurants in Rosemarkie. The cottage was very clean and had great communication with Rob.

Just what we needed

A great place to stay, we loved being so close to the beach and seeing the dolphins was a joy. Rosemarkie is a really pretty village and the beach is stunning.

Groan cottage Rosemarkie

A lovely stay helped by glorious weather. Saw the dolphins, some went in the sea and we tried to find the caves. Only negatives were steep stairs in cottage and loud seagulls, neither of which can be helped I would imagine. Otherwise perfect for all three generations of our family.

Great stay at Groam Cottage

Had a lovely stay in Groam Cottage despite a couple of wet days. Cromarty, Groam House Museum and the Church in Nigg village are all 'must sees'. But, for us at least, seeing the dolphins at Chanonry Point only metres from the shore was a unique experience and definitely one of the highlights!! About an hour after low tide seems to be the best time.

A lovely cottage in the heart of Rosemarkie

Groam Cottage is perfectly located on the main street in Rosemarkie, just a couple of minutes walk from the beautiful sandy beach. It was the perfect location for a family get away. Peaceful getaway

Easy process and good communication with owner. Great location. For us the spiral stairs and the downstairs bathroom weren’t great. The door to t bathroom is low if you are 5’6” or over watch your head. Loved the kitchen/diner and the table And chairs outside

Excellent Cottage

This is a beautiful cottage, set in a lovely little village. An ideal place to get away from it all. Everything you could possible need is provided, it's a real home from home. The photographs don't do it justice. The lounge is lovely and cosy, we stayed in October and although we were fortunate to have lovely sunny days the evenings we're cold and we could light the log burner and spend cosy nights in. Communication with Rob is easy and he ensured we had everything we could possibly need. I would highly recommend this place if you want to stay somewhere quiet on the black isle.

Location Location Location

This beautiful cottage is located on The Black Isle, it ideal for touring the Highlands and the surrounding area. The property is well equipped with good quality kitchen equipment. With three bedrooms it is able to easily accommodate a family of 5 although we were 3. We loved this cottage, its location, and the accommodation.
