Brick ranchägare inbäddat på en 23-acre naturen gömställe. Stora däck ansluten till en stor skärmad veranda med utsikt (privat) i mark pool och privat vik. Tyst, lugnt och fridfullt - den perfekta semestern plats.

Ta din båt (båt slip tillgänglig), kajak, roddbåt, flottar, etc. och lansering från (privat) brygga. Fisk och krabba från kajen eller få ut kikaren och göra lite fågelskådning. Ta med din cykel eller hyr en cykel, är terrängen platt och natursköna. Njut av poolen, koppla av i en hängmatta, spela krocket (medföljer) och / eller hästskor (medföljer), möjligheterna är oändliga.

2016 köket var rensad och ombyggda, är det fullt utrustat (elektrisk spis, 2 stora ugnar och en ismaskin) och öppen för vardagsrummet (med drottning bäddsoffa) och matsal. Från denna "stora" rum kan du se viken / fiske bäck, skog, pool och trädgårdar (och du kommer sannolikt att se rådjur äter blommorna). Två sovrummen, båda med king size-sängar, privat bad och en har en öppen spis, sovrum tre har en dubbelsäng och en våningssäng med dubbel futon på botten och enkelsäng ovanpå; sovrum fyra har två dubbelsängar. Huset är 1 berättelse, alla rum på samma nivå. Solrummet har drottning bäddsoffa med egen luftkonditionering / värme enhet. Intercom-system med radio och CD-spelare ger musik i alla rum.

Uteplats är möblerad med litet kylskåp för att hålla kalla drycker nära till hands.

Just the right place for our stay

This house was amazing. Very clean and well kept place. Stayed for a long weekend and the layout and house was all we could ask for. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a great place to stay in Cambridge MD.

perfect retreat

Everything was perfect, the house, pool, and dock! Relaxed in the pool, crabbed from the dock and watched the deer and rabbits from the dining room window. We did not want for anything! Would definitely return!!!!!!!!!!

Large ranch style Chesapeake Bay house rental

Well maintained large private property, nice big dock, we were able to bring our own boat, fun to fish and crab from dock and kayak/paddle board in the quiet cove area. Nice large screened in porch, good sized pool, very clean, quiet, fully stocked kitchen, easy check-in process, ample parking for multiple cars and our boat trailer. Allowing pets was an added bonus!! My family ranging from ages 9-71 years old enjoyed our 5 day, 4 night stay. Would definitely rent again! Thank you for sharing your home.

Annual family vacation

We recently stayed at this fantastic house and it was everything we hoped for and more! The property featured a private dock and pool, which were perfect for our family. We spent countless hours fishing and crabbing right off the dock, and the pool was a great way to cool off and relax. The kitchen was spacious and well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals for our group. We also loved the abundance of outdoor seating options, which allowed us to enjoy the beautiful weather and scenic views comfortably. Family vacation

Wonderful private property set back on the water. Easy access to Cambridge. We fished, crabbed, and swam all week. Very relaxing and peaceful. Accomodations were great.

Property was clean and well supplied. We loved the private dock that was perfect for crabbing, fishing and paddle boarding. The charcoal grill was a surprise so make sure you bring charcoal and lighter fluid. Our only challenge was the number of flies. I'm told that this is a problem in the entire area. Bring fly strips! We loved the screened in porch. Be careful of the ceiling fans if you are tall.

Wonderful house, great pool, private location!

House was amazing, everything in working order, and pool was perfect. Very much enjoyed our stay! Only disappointment was the water level and murkiness in the creek, but didn't stop us from crabbing, fishing, and taking our kayaks out!

A Perfectly Serene Location for Our Family Vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed the spacious, well-equipped, comfortable home and property, spending much of our time on the screened porch and around the pool. We enjoyed crabbing and fishing from the dock as well. The house was perfect for six adults and two children. In the words of our 10-year-old granddaughter, “This is the best vacation house ever!”

Awesome Getaway

It was a wonderful location! Not only did we crab off the dock but we brought our boat. We caught the biggest crabs..just amazing. The kitchen was FULLY equipped! Love the pool and the screen in porch. House had everything that is needed. It was so peaceful, quiet, and relaxing!

Unbelievable!

This property was fantastic! It was stocked with every comfort you could ask for. The owner was so gracious when we had an AC problem, repair men were there in minutes. Definately going back! Thank you Addie for a glorious getaway!

Best Kept Cambridge Secret

This is a great find! We were so happy with Serenty Acres that we booked two years in a row! The house and grounds are very well taken care. The kitchen is very well stocked and the beds are very comfortable. We enjoyed the screened porch every evening. We love the freedom of being able to bring our dog who definitely enjoys frequent "dips" in the cove! We had a blast fishing and crabbing right from the dock. We were very happy to hear that Serenity Acres survived Hurricane Irene! We are looking forward to coming back next year!

Wonderful family vacation

We had a great time at Serenity Acres. The house is as large as the photos show. We LOVED the pool, the ice maker and the way the bun machine makes coffee fast! Even though it rained a lot, the bugs weren't too bad. We spent hours outside every day and weren't bit much. Never used our insect repellant. The birds are fantastic. You can hear birds calling all the time. There are eastern bluebirds, bald eagles, swallows, doves, so many mocking birds and more to be seen every day. We hope to return someday.

Peaceful getaway

My family and I had a great, peaceful stay with fun times crabbing off the dock and swimming in the pool. We caught dozens of crabs! Addie was quick to respond to questions and address the pool issues. We encountered many flying insects, but we were able to fend them off with a few cans of insect repellent, and the property has mosquito traps that were very helpful. The multiple refrigerators were great to keep cold drinks on hand, and the kitchen was well-appointed. The layout of the house worked out well with everyone having their own room and then everyone being able to comfortably hang out and watch movies in the family room. The privacy of the property and serene waterfront views added to the peaceful nature of the property. It was a wonderful place to spend time with family and relax.

Beautiful Home!

We had a lovely stay at your beautiful home. We were very happy with the location on a private bay area with dock and crab traps! The kids loved floating on the water and hanging out, crabbing and fishing off the dock. The pool was also a special highlight, and we all spent many hours each day lounging and swimming. The house itself was perfect! The rooms are all beautifully furnished and very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and state of the art. The appliances worked perfectly and the air conditioning was also in top working order. We played lots of the games in the closet (competitive pictionary was a big it!!), bocci ball, volleyball and foozball, and watched movies together in the evening. It was a wonderful vacation. We have not one complaint and would to come back again. Thank you so much!!! Tracy, Tom and kids (ages 10, 13, 16)

Private, Serene and Luxurious

This aptly-named property is the best on the Eastern Shore! Spacious, totally private property on beautiful Fishing Creek just 10 minutes south of Cambridge. It has all of the sought-after attributes:a private, deepwater cove; a nice dock for boating, crabbing and fishing; a convenient put-in for kayaks; lovely, unending shoreline to explore; very large yards surrounded by trees; a refreshing pool and a lovely house that is large and well-furnished. The house is designed and stocked for large gatherings, yet comfortable for 2. We could have accommodated 15 for our birthday party (and for overnight). Tranquil, early-morning kayaking made a Bay believer out of my Midwestern girlfriend. Off the dock we caught a few crabs, we caught fish (a nice hardhead or croaker) and we just enjoyed the beauty of the waterfront site. Can't believe it was available as recently as 2003. What a find! Good job, Dwight!.

Perfection

Words cannot do justice to describe the house and property. I found this house by pure luck searching on-line. The pictures do not do justice for how completely awesome this place really is. We were hesitant at first to consider this property do to just pictures and not knowing the area. After reading the reviews we gave it a try and how amazed we were. We had three families including 9 kids for a total of 15 people. More than enough room for all. The house is not only surprisingly roomy the interior is very clean and modern. Everything from the mattresses to the sheets are top quality. The house is stocked with so many extra little amenities from more spices than you could use, laundry detergent, a three pot coffee maker, and a drawer of assorted sizes of baggies. The dock is great and we had two boats we brought down. Launching and docking the boats was a breeze. The fishing creek was plenty deep for our 22ft boat and we had a great time tubing, skiing and wakeboarding with very little other boat traffic. The cove on fishing creek is great for swimming and kayaking and we spend most of the time between the cove, pool and screened porch. The kids enjoyed crabbing for hours with the crab pots and crab bait all supplied by the owners. The property is perfect for yard games and riding bikes. The stone driveway and private lane to the main road is a great place to walk and jog. We did not bring the dogs but the place would have been perfect for them if we would have. Dealing with the owners was simple and they go above and beyond in suppling you everything you need. The security deposit was returned in less than a week. I would not hessitate to recommend this property to friends and relativies alike. Honeslty I cannot think of any negitavies about this property, we will be back.

When we plan our next family getaway, this house is on the top of my list!

Amazing! The house was perfect for our needs. We had four adults & 3 boys & a small dog. Each couple had their own master suite with private bathroom which was great. The boys stayed in the room with the bunk bed. The pool was gated which was perfect for our crew - when the boys were running amok in the backyard, I did not worry about them falling in the pool. We dropped crab traps off the dock, but unfortunately, caught only a few tiny crabs - but going to the dock daily to check was fun with the little boys. We bought steamed crabs from a local store (Kool Ice) and ate on the screen in deck - which was where I spent most of my time enjoying the fresh air, but avoiding the bugs. Recommend tick spray - you are in nature after all - and they are out there. The pool starts to dip into a deeper section halfway - recommend bringing pool noodles and rope to string across halfway. It keeps the kids and their floaties in the "safe" zone - also allows the adults to enjoy floating in the deep end without splash from the kids. Two televisions in the house, both have bluray DVDs - which we enjoyed with the movies we brought when the weather turned on us with a heavy duty rain storm. Walmart is only 20 minutes away - we purchased groceries on day one and I never left the house until the end of the week. The house is very well stocked!! Dishes - pans - spices (yes, old bay) - only need to buy food. The coffee station was one of my favorite things. The house is setup so everyone could do their own thing and not be on top of each other. The living room coffee table is a danger for having children and/or small dogs - we moved it to an unused guest room during our stay. The rest of the house was perfect though with the kids. I liked the fact there was not a lot of decor all over the house, like some other vacation houses. It was sparse which left us room to put our personal things on dressers - and not worry about small children. There were more than enough blankets and pillows for everyone. The internet worked better than expected - but I didn't tell the kids - our goal was to be unplugged and away from it all. They spent most of their time in the pool, playing Foosball, or at the giant dining room table with board games. We all seem to eat in the kitchen most of the time as it had 7 bar stool type chairs. It was just easier. When we plan our next family getaway, this house is on the top of my list!

Serenity Acres is everything and more of what it says it is. The house is beyond well supplied. The kitchen has everything you need and a whole lot more. My family and I would highly recommend this property.
