Stuga nära kustvägen och stränderna i Borth Y Gest & Morfa Bychan

Ffermdy Bach (lilla bondgård) är en fristående stuga med ett sovrum som gränsar till ägarnas traditionella bondgård. Med egen ingång och stor privat trädgård är det den perfekta resan för ett par. Stranden ligger mellan byarna Borth y Gest och Morfa Bychan, bara några minuters promenad bort och leder ner till sandstränderna i Borth y Gest. En fantastisk bas för att utforska Snowdonia och Llyn-halvön, andra attraktioner i närheten inkluderar Porthmadog (1. 5 mil) med dess berömda Ffestiniog och Welsh Highland Railways, Portmeirion (4 miles) och städerna och slottet Criccieth och Harlech bara en kort bilresa bort.

Stugan har ett bekvämt dubbelrum med antika möbler och sänglinne av bomull. Det finns plats för en barnsäng (medföljer ej) om du har ett barn. Duschrummet har en handdukstång och handdukar tillhandahålls

Köket / vardagsrummet är ett mysigt rum som inkluderar alla dina köksbehov samt ett matbord, stolar och soffa. Det finns en TV / DVD och många böcker och kartor för att hjälpa dig att utforska området.

A great well equipped cottage in a very peaceful location in walking distance of the beach and local village which has excellent cafes & restaurants. Cottage had a well equipped kitchen with everything we needed. Check in was seamless A great base for exploring the local area such as Portmeirion and the Ffestiniog railway.

The cottage was extremely cozy and comfortable. Everything you need for a good stay was there. Clean and lovingly decorated. The hostess was very attentive and responds very quickly and friendly to questions. Also very pleasant was the possibility to charge the car at the cottage. In short, highly recommended for your pleasant stay in Porthmadog!

Weekend in Borth y Gest

We had a lovely weekend in an area we have never visited before, the cottage is cosy and well equipped, perfect for two. Branwen is a great host and we had everything we needed for a relaxing break, we look forward to returning in the near future.

A delightful cottage in a great location

We were impressed with prior information and instructions in the cottage. The cottage is attached to the main farmhouse but private access and pretty secluded garden. Fabulous location in a beautiful part of Wales

Very pretty cottage which is very clean and well equipped. Short walking distance to beaches, short car journey to lots of places to visit and shops cafés and restaurants. We will definitely visit again

Lovely relaxing break

We really enjoyed our stay in the cottage . The cottage was immaculate well equipped and cosy at the same time . Location was great with lovely walks nearby . We especially enjoyed seeing the rabbits and the lovely birds that visited the garden including a pair of thrushes . Thank you Branwen and Paul

Lovely cottage, comfortable well equipped and spotlessly clean

We enjoyed our stay at Morfa Bychan. The cottage was comfortable and very clean. A great spot for exploring the magical Llyn peninsular. Branwen was an attentive host and responded immediately to our requests.

Just perfect !

A beautiful cottage. Well equipped with everything you would need. Branwen the owner has made it so comfy and cosy with lots of finishing touches . There is plenty of room upstairs and downstairs and the kitchen and bathroom are modern and bright. Look out for the rabbits and the squirrels in the garden and you will also hear the owls. We had lovely and relaxing stay....just wished we had booked a longer stay.

A wonderful cottage in a beautiful location

The cottage and garden were even nicer and a bit bigger than the photographs and reviews suggested. It was near many beautiful walks through woods and along sandy paths to stunningly beautiful and deserted sandy coves, or to Borth y Gest with a bistro and cafe. (They do get very busy and The Moorings was booked up well ahead, so we didn't eat there. Very handy shop in the village for most supplies and a fish and chip shop too. The weather was quite wet and sometimes cool when we were there (in August) but it really didn't matter, lots of good books and outdoors many beautiful beaches, mountains, small towns and castles to visit. Branwen was there if needed and replied promptly to texts but respected out space and left us to enjoy our holiday.

Lovely holiday cottage

Had a wonderful week away in the cottage staying as a small family with our 7 month old. The cottage was in a great location and facilities were just what we needed. Enjoyed the outside space in the nice weather.

Our Welsh cottage

The cottage at Borth y Gest was excellent. the pictures and description were accurate. We particularly enjoyed watching the wildlife from the door of the bedroom, rabbits and a variety of birds and a grey squirrel. Branwen and Paul were friendly and helpful. The only issue we had was the bed. It was difficult for me to get into because it was so high. The mattress was firm which we like but it had a strange effect in that we continually felt we would fall out of bed. It affected my partner, Paul's back causing pain and so he slept on the floor.

A very pleasant and comfortable stay.

A very clean and well kept cottage, where every effort had been made to meet visitors needs. Ideal for quiet coastal walks, whilst within easy driving distance of attractive places to visit such as Portmeirion, Criccieth, and Abersoch, with its magnificient beach.

Hidden Gem

The cottage was warm and cosy and located in an excellent spot for walks along the coastal path. It had been newly fitted out to a high standard and there was everything you needed for a selfcatering holiday. We hope to return again soon.

Delightful accomodation

We very much enjoyed staying in Branwen's little house, ideally situated to explore North Wales and the Snowdonia area. The most comfortable bed, excellent shower, fully equipped kitchen, spotlessly clean and tidy and a place outside to sit and watch the setting sun. We couldn't have been more pleased, thank you!

Nice and cosy cottage

We had very pleasant 14 days in this cosy cottage, close to Porthmadog. The area is beautiful and with a lot of potential for discovering North Wales. Snowdonia, Angelsey and the Lleyn Peninsula could be accessed easily. Everything was like in the description. Brawnen and Paul have been very kind hosts. We will probably come back. A clear recommandation for a couple, enjoying quiteness and nature.

We had a lovely time here!

This is a great place for a couple to stay for a few days. It's very quiet and peaceful, but a few minutes' walk from the beach, a few more minutes to some lovely restaurants in Borth, and a few minutes' drive to Porthmadog. While we were here, we also visited Caernarfon, Snowdon, etc - lots to see locally. The cottage has its own private garden to lounge in, and contains everything you might need for a restful stay. Also the owners are just next door, and are very helpful and friendly. Definitely recommended!

We moved here in 1996 and now our daughters have left home we decided to make the most of our extra space!

The cottage has its own entrance and garden so you have your privacy and can come and go as you please.
