Chesterfield Cottage Àr en charmig 1500-talsstuga, som ligger i hjÀrtat av bevarandeomrÄdet av gamla Rye. Det ligger mittemot Landgate-bÄgen och ligger bara nÄgra minuter frÄn de historiska sevÀrdheterna, antikaffÀrer, konstgallerier, barer och restauranger som Rye har att erbjuda.

Stugan har tvÄ sovrum och kan bekvÀmt sova 4. Det finns ett sovrum med dubbelsÀng pÄ första vÄningen och ett andra sovrum pÄ loftet som har tvÄ smÄ (2ft6 ") singlar.

Stugans sovrum och badrum nÄs via branta spiraltrappar som kanske inte Àr lÀmpliga för Àldre eller mycket unga. Det finns ocksÄ ett litet steg mellan loungen och köket.

Everything was fine except for the stairs. Very low beams on staircase which was to be expected so banged my head few times. Great location. Host left some maps/info for walking which waz helpful & appreciated.

Brilliant location of the property. Easy access and good communication with the owner. Car parking was close by and very reasonably priced. Property had everything you needed - was good to have a small outside space too, however we felt the decor was tired. The quality of the bed linen/ towels was not what we expected and smelt a bit musty.

Lovely cosy little cottage in a prime location. Very clean and warm. Towels provided.Just a short walk to the best streets and quirky shops and a big plus, was a Bus stop right outside, easy for getting to Camber sands.The Spiral staircase was a bit precarious but we managed ok.My only negative is the bed was really uncomfortable. It really Needs a new mattress as springs were so bad, hurting our back and making it difficult to sleep.

Great location

A very well equipped cottage in the centre of Rye. Easy walking to shops restaurants etc. Had a great time and would highly recommend it.

The cottage was brimming with character, featuring exposed beams, original stone walls, and vintage decor, the cozy fireplace was the perfect touch, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.The host was exceptionally welcoming. Location was perfect as well! Highly recommend!

Great cottage, great location.

We have stayed in Chesterfield Cottage on a few occasions and have always found to be a great place to stay. Located right in centre of town close to all sights, pubs and restaurants. Will definitely return again.

Quaint little cottage

We spent a few days in beautiful Rye and really enjoyed our time in the cottage. The location is great and the decor is cozy. We enjoyed the small garden to have a coffee there in the morning or to sit outside in the evening.

Third stay and still loving it

This little cottage always makes us smile. It is cosy and comfortable. It has everything needed for a self catering break. It's quaint and located in a super spot near the shops. We'll be back next December all being well

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

We had been escaping to Rye from our busy lives in London for years, purchasing Chesterfield Cottage in 2010. After some extensive renovations to the kitchen and bathroom we have been using it as our home away from home, to relax and recharge our batteries.

There is always something going on in the town and local area, amazing beaches, walks and quiet roads to cycle.

The cottage is perfectly placed to enjoy the tea rooms, antique shops, pubs and restaurants that Rye has to offer.
