Vi ligger bara 8 mil frÄn den norra ingÄngen till Mammoth Cave National Park och vid Nolin Lake. Vi Àr öppna för uthyrning Äret runt. Detta 1200 kvadratmeter stora hem har 3 sovrum och 2 1/2 badrum, ett fullt utrustat kök, vardagsrum med tvÀrsnitt, fÀrg 55 "tums platt-TV (direkt-TV), videobandspelare och central vÀrme och luft. Det finns en veranda pÄ 20 x 26 med gasgrill och picknickbord med utsikt över sjön Nolin. Allt du behöver ta med Àr mat & sjöhanddukar !!

Peaceful Retreat

Very peaceful and relaxing. Enjoyed the beautiful early mornings at sunrise with a cup of coffee overlooking the lake! Great place to stay!

Lake home by Mammoth caves

Loved the covered deck especially since it mostly rained while we were there. Nice grill and grill utensils. The power went out the first evening so we were thankful for the candles. We were traveling with our 3 adult children, so we loved having 2 beds in the third bedroom— this is not easy to find elsewhere.

Spring break trip with the grandkids

Short trip to Mammoth Cave with grandkids. Location on the lake was just beautiful and relatively close to the National Park. It would have been much closer if the ferry had been running (down for repairs). The cabin had everything we needed and we thoroughly enjoyed the sitting out on huge deck and taking in the peaceful views of the water. The owners were more than helpful and especially gracious to mail us some items the grands left behind!

Older home in lovely secluded setting

What we loved: The lakefront setting was peaceful and lovely. The deck. Well-equipped kitchen. A bathroom for each bedroom. Convenient to Mammoth Cave and Lake Nolan Parks. What could be better: The sofas are worn out, stained and not comfortable. Some of the beds had memory foam toppers, which are softer than we prefer.

Great getaway on Lake Nolin

We really enjoyed our time at Lakeside Dreams. It was quiet and peaceful. The water levels are down quite a bit in the winter so may want to check that out if you plan to use the lake much but our kids had fun skipping rocks into the lake nonetheless. The property was clean and as advertised. Our only snag was that we didn't receive the door code and upon arrival had trouble getting into the home for a few mins. This was quickly corrected by a fast response from the property manager.

Thanksgiving Trip

I started a thanksgiving tradition a few years ago with my son and his family. This year we choose Mammoth Cave as our destination. This little gem fit up perfectly. 4 adults, 1 teenager and 2 smaller kids. Rained Thanksgiving day and got very cold but we enjoyed our stay. Clean yet cost efficient. The driveway was a bit challenging and do suggest that once you get down the driveway, back up into the covered parking. Thank you.

Wonderful view

The view and deck were amazing. Check-in was simple and fast. The property has everything listed in the add. Clean. The TV is big and super! My observation is that theThere is a very strong musty smell, especially in the kid's play room. The living room furniture is old and not comfortable and the kitchen chairs are metal. The basics are provided but do not expect any extras. Be prepared to wash dishes. No dishwasher. In defense however one is not listed.

Absolutely amazing property. Very peaceful and relaxing. Has lots games for kids in the game room. Right on the lake. Not far from a Dollar General for anything you need. Has a great lil restaurant up the road. Will be booking this house again

Great house but smelled musty from being closed up. No fishing area like it said, to steep of an incline. Nothing to do in the area bc it had to be booked out like a month in advance or closed from flooding, no advertising saying closed, so wasted time and gas going to these place. Wish there was more to do in the house

Great place to stay

Cabin was clean and the lake was beautiful. Nice place to relax with friends. The big covered porch was a huge plus since it rained for part of our trip.

Perfect for families or friend groups. Please note that there is no lake access from the property as the dock area is considered private. Luckily we were renting a boat both days so it did not affect us.

Overall Great

Everything was amazing and as expected. But have to state, I’m disabled and was denied my service dog (medical alert) which is kind of illegal and therefore didn’t have such a great time. She’s not a pet, she’s the only thing that keeps me safe and from unexpectedly passing out and/or falling and getting hurt. I’ve never been denied her in the four years since she was given to me. Hope they do their research and the next disabled person isnt denied their right to have a service animal. “No pet” policies dont apply to service animals as they are a medical necessity not a pet.

A nice 3 day stay

The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had all the items needed to make any sort of meal, the internet worked well.It may be my fault
but I didn’t understand how little access we would have to swim the lake.

Nolan Lake House Review

Lovely location and easy communication with host. Listing a bit outdated on VBRO, ie we never could find the ironing board) and google maps references had wrong address. Sleeps 8 but we did not see dishes for 8. Cooking utensils were flimsy. Hot water heater is small, having to wait between showers. Overall 3.4 to 4 star. Would stay there again.

Relaxing Weekend

My teen sons, my Mom, and I enjoyed the peaceful lake view from the covered deck, making S’mores in the fire pit, and the three spacious bedrooms with personal bathrooms. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking and location close enough to explore Bowling Green & Mammoth Cave. I would stay here again.

Lovely, Peaceful Lake House

We had a lovely, peaceful stay at this house. The deck was amazing, the views were spectacular. We enjoyed waking up to see deer, squirrels, chipmunks, birds and more. The fall color and fog rising off the water just added to the beauty. It was close enough to Mammoth Cave that we made trips on two separate days quite easily. The kitchen enabled us to make several meals. I will say one of the showers was a little on the tight side for my husband, who is over six feet, but it was manageable. Also, it is a lake house, so expect a little mustiness, but that went away pretty quickly once we aired it out. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

Lakeside with friends

Propped on the steep side of an peninsula overlooking a reservoir-lake finger we saw deer, squirrels, and raccoons and thought it the perfect place to enjoy the company of, and play time, with good friends.

We bought this house to use personally and when our girls started in all their activities we decided to rent it out for others to enjoy. My husband grew up across the street and we love to visit the area.
