Tanrallt Cottage ligger i en lugn by med utsikt över öppen jordbruksmark, som är en fristående fastighet i en våning som ligger tvärs över en uppfart som delas med ägarna. Begränsad av en bäck, är vår stuga bekvämt inredda och erbjuder ett sovrum med dubbelsäng, stort utrustat kök, duschrum och ett stort vardagsrum / matsal med bäddsoffa. Altandörrar öppnar från vardagsrummet mot en liten uteplats med trädgårdsmöbler.

Stugan och huvudhuset delar en härlig miljö, fem minuters bilresa från stranden vid Borth och lika långt från de spektakulära sanddynerna vid Ynyslas och universitetsstaden Aberystwyth, båda cirka tio minuters bilresa bort. Machynlleth, den forna Wales huvudstaden ligger bara 20 minuters bilresa från stugan.

Med rymliga rum, centralvärme för gas och dubbla fönster i hela är stugan perfekt för både sommar- och vinterresor.

Beautiful house in rural surrounding

The house is very well equipped, very tidy and clean and has a lot of space. Everything was well prepred and we got useful information in advance to find the house. The landlord is very kind, she prepared even some welcome food for us and gave us many helpful tipps. We loved staying there. The place is very quiet but close to Borth (5 min by car) and Aberystwyz (20 min by car).

A warm welcome from Karen led to the most delightful stay in a perfectly equiped cottage. Gorgeoys views from the suntrap patio, everything you could need to make you feel at home, the most comfortable bed too! Peace,tranquility and comfort. The most wonderful break. We will be back

Fantastic quiet property in a quiet rural location near Aberystwyth (10 min drive) and Borth (2 min drive). Modern and clean with all facilities one could need. The couple that run it are lovely and will go out of their way to help with any issues. Plenty of safe parking space, good wifi and fully fitted kitchen. Only slight downside was it would be difficult without a car as walking to the nearby towns, villages, coast isn't terribly easy, though it is possible and the area didn't seem to be served by walkable public transport.

A very pleasant week

Very comfortable house, and well equipped. We cooked a few times and found everything we needed. Light and airy, which was good as it was a very warm week. Karen was friendly and helpful. The village is quiet and pretty, about 10 minutes from Borth by car or 40 on foot.

Originally from Glasgow and Hull we followed work to mid Wales, moving to Aberystwyth, we bought the main house here in Dol y bont in 2001, the cottage was then used as a workshop. Over time, we redesigned the space to allow for extra living accommodation for our family. We began hosting several years ago to share our love of living here with others.
