VÄNLIGEN se till att kontakta oss om du vill stanna mindre än fyra nätter. De fyra natten minst gäller endast för högsommaren och vissa helgdagar. När som helst det finns mindre än fyra nätter mellan andra bokningar, vi är glada att göra dessa kortare vistelser tillgängliga.

Frio House är ett familjeägt semester hyresfastigheter med utsikt över Frio River i Leakey, Texas. Det har sin egen djupt vatten simning hål som aldrig går torrt! Det finns en liten bit av allt för alla på denna del av floden ... djupt vatten, grunt vatten för de små kiddos, rep gungor, små forsar som du kan höra från baksidan däck, och bergen och solnedgången. Den består av huvudbyggnaden, den bifogade våningssäng rum, och en gästlägenhet. Huset har steg och räcke som leder ner till floden nedanför. Den rymmer upp till 15 personer; perfekt för den familjen semester du har velat ta.

I huvudbyggnaden vardagsrummet finns välvda tak och en öppen planlösning. Den rymliga vardagsrummet gör besök med din familj och vänner lätt. Tidigare gäster har hittat huset för att vara mycket mysig och en bra plats att återansluta med familj och vänner.

Observera att The Frio House är en icke-rökare egendom. Rökning är inte tillåten någonstans på fastigheten, inne eller ute.

Great place

The Frio House is a great place for families with small children to stay on the Frio. It’s very peaceful there and the river has shallow and deep places for all age kids. The house has three separate areas with bathrooms. It’s perfect for our group of three families.

First Frio River family getaway

Although the drought has really taken its toll on the Frio river flow not allowing us a true river float, this rental was one of the best on the Frio in Leakey. We had a deep spring fed pool right in front of the property with a rope swing, along with plenty of shallow to knee deep crystal clear water for the kids to get wet, seine for minnows with a net, fish for perch, bass, and trout. We saw deer, cardinals, hummingbirds, squirrels and one raccoon. The house offered a great two bedroom with a large kitchen and perfect family gathering area with central A/C. The attached guesthouse off the deck had a window unit and the guestroom attached to the garage had its own central A/C. The setup offered each family to have their own privacy and bathroom. Only setback was the shower in garage apartment was not usable and needs to be replaced, but rest of that bathroom and bedroom were okay and A/C cooled very well.

The Frio House is a great place for a family to stay to enjoy the Frio River. With 3 separate sleeping areas, each with a bath it was perfect for our family. The owners are very nice and helpful too! We enjoyed our stay!

Heaven on the Frio

We had such a wonderful time staying at The Frio House. The river was absolutely gorgeous, the house, bunk house and cabin were so nice and clean, well equipped and with a beautiful view. Best place on the Frio!

This is our second year at The Frio House and we hope to be back again! The water was perfect, even in a drought, and the house perfectly accommodates our large extended family. Can’t say enough good things!

Beautiful place on the river!

The house was perfect for all our family members. The kitchen and living area were spacious. The deck was great to enjoy morning coffee or watch the deer crossing the river and beautiful sunset. The river was awesome!

Check in process was easy, communication with property managers was great! Place was beautiful clean, the online presentation was the same as in person, the water was great! Great spots to swim in for all ages! Plenty of space for everyone. Each house has its own restroom and shower which is great!

Best place on the Frio

We LOVE staying at The Frio House! They have the best spot on the Frio! Even if the river is low, there is always plenty of water to enjoy the rope swing and even just to sit and enjoy the scenery. The separate living quarters allow for quiet time to get away from your group if you need it.

Beautiful and relaxing

My family and I had such a great time in the Frio house. The house had all of the Amenities we needed for a large family and it was in a beautiful location, right on the river. The home was close to town and easily accessible for quick trips. We will definitely be back!

Hi! We are Chris & Rebekah, the owners of The Frio House (formerly Georgia's Retreat). We first came to the Frio River together almost 16 years ago and have been coming back ever since. We always wanted a place at the Frio for our family to make memories and our dream finally came true. We fell in love with the property and think y'all will too! We live a few hours away from the Frio River, but are super excited to spend as much time as we can here and share it with you all too.

Varför värden valde detta boende

Simple...THE FRIO RIVER! We had been looking for a home on the Frio River for a while, but finally found the one. Before purchasing the property, we too rented the property and were guests at The Frio House. While renting the property, we fell in love and couldn't pass up the opportunity to snatch up this little piece of heaven on the Frio River. One of our main criteria in our property search was deep water. The deep water swimming hole directly behind The Frio House is a rare find along the Frio River. There are few properties with a piece of the Frio River like this one. The crystal clear swimming hole, view of the sunset across the mountains, and sounds of the river below make this a relaxing spot to get away and make those family memories.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

The mix of deep and shallow water is the best benefit of this property. Many other places along the Frio begin to dry up in the late summer, but not The Frio House! You'll always have deep water immediately behind the house and shallower water just downstream. The water varies from about 3 feet deep up to roughly 8 feet deep along The Frio House property.

The location in Leakey is another great feature. Leave the crowds in Concan and enjoy the peaceful setting here. Leakey has all the normal amenities you'd expect like a full grocery store, great restaurants, liquor stores, banks, gas stations, and more. We're just a couple minutes from all these locations, but you'll feel like you're miles from anywhere when you're at The Frio House.
