Nu med gratis wifi ..... Villa Paloma ligger i en lugn och fridfull plats i utkanten av denna typiska spanska byn och har oavbruten utsikt över den närliggande utdöda vulkanen, Montana Escanfraga. Denna moderna villa är mycket rymlig och har en stor öppen planlösning med separat matplats, separat kök och 4 sovrum och 3 badrum (2 badrum). Fastigheten är belägen i privat muromgärdad trädgård som är avskilt och det finns en privat uppvärmd pool med stor solterrass med trädgårdsmöbler tillsammans med en privat takterrass (och är därför lämplig för nudist). Villans interiör är fullt möblerad och utrustad och har klinkergolv i hela på en nivå (inga steg).
Byn Villaverde har 2 stormarknader, 6 bra restauranger och bageri / café som är ett måste besöka, allt inom gångavstånd. De många prisbelönta stränder inom en lätt 10/15 min bilresa bort och den större staden Corralejo är bara 10 minuters bilresa bort.
Nu med brittiska TV-kanaler och BBC radio. Nyligen förfogande .... gratis WiFi.

Great Villa, great holiday.

Family Christmas in the sun.

A great stay at this lovely villa for a family Christmas in the sun and warmth of the Canaries. Enjoyed our stay at the villa very much, warm pool, well equipped from a great big kitchen to satellite TV and even a blue tooth speaker which was great for the teenagers. Much time was spent on the terrace by the pool eating, reading and enjoying the sun. The villa is large as spacious, has everything you could ever want, comfy beds, clean and nicely appointed, lovely gardens and peaceful location away from the busy tourist areas. Can highly recommend to others.

Fantastic first villa holiday!

All 8 of us enjoyed our stay at Villa Paloma very much indeed. This was the first time we chose a private villa for our holiday and we weren't disappointed. The villa was very spacious and clean with high ceilings and furnished to a very high standard. The lounge and dining area were very comfortable with a very well equipped kitchen (large fridge for chilling the beer and wine!) The children enjoyed spending all their time in and around the pool area, whilst we topped up our tans enjoying the peace and quiet of the surrounding area. The village has a local supermarket and several good restaurants (liked 'El Horno' especially) and a little bakery for the daily bread! We all had a great time and will definitely return. If you come to Villa Paloma you won't be disappointed.

Villa

Fantástica villa en el norte. Disfrutamos mucho, dada la cercanía con calderas y montañas pudimos hacer varias caminatas. La calidad de los restaurantes en Villaverde es inmejorable, el supermercado está a dos minutos de la casa. Por poner un pero he de decir que tuvimos muchos problemas con Internet, de hecho aún que pasaron a arreglarlo no lo consiguieron, estuvimos toda la estancia tirando de 4g y agotando nuestros contratos.

Fantastisk villa i lugn omgivning med bra läge

Allt fungerade perfekt och villan är verkligen fin och bra planerad. Uteplatsen är trevlig och lummig. Området är lugnt och läget är bra för utflykter åt alla håll på norra delen av ön. Vi kan varmt rekommendera Villa Paloma!

Nous avons passé 14 jours à la Paloma Villaverde Fuerteventura. La Villa dispose de généreux volumes, deux suites parentales et deux chambres classiques. Nous avons donné une note de 6/10 qui pourrait sans grand frais passer à 9/10 à cause de : - Nous n'avons pas pu ouvrir le portail pédestre . - Le portail des voitures est dans un mauvais état ( rouille) , se ferme uniquement via un cable lorsque l'on est à l'interieur. - L'éclairage devrait être modifié en lampes led chaleureuses en lieu et place de lampes basses écomomies et froides qui donnent une impression d'hopital. En ajoutant un éclairage extérieur coté Barbecue qui est totalement dans le noir ( pas pratique pour cuisiner) - Wifi à peine capable d'ouvrir un email texte et impossible de regarder des vidéos ( pas cool pour nos ados) - Fauteuils intérieur défoncés ou chaise en bois dur - chaises longues exterieures cassées et pas de coussins -Barbecue fissurée, grille cassée et aucun d'équipement pour cuisiner au BBQ. - manque d'équipement dans la cuisine, pas de bol petit déjeuner 1 seul grand bol pour la salade , couverts trop juste pour 6 personnes mais pas de couteaux à steak...( uniquement bold plastique pour petitd enfants) - table exterieur pour 6 personnes maximum et pas 8 comme indiqué. Les lits sont très durs (certains apprécient) mais le soir il fait très frais, voire très froid par rapport à la journée et la villa de dispose pas de chaufage (cheminée condané), et au lieu d'agreables couettes ou duvets, on ne dispose que de vielles couvertures d'une autre époque que nous avons du passer à la machine à laver pour pouvoir dormir... - équipement de vacances manquant: pas de vélo, pas de siège de plage, - pas de produits de nettoyage et champignons dans la douche, pas d'éponge vaisselle, - Nous n'avons malheureusement pas pu profiter de la piscine car elle était pas propre et pas prète à nous accueillir, pas chauffée à notre arrivée. Nous avons téléphoné pour la faire chauffer, mais après 2 jours (sois disant chauffé) elle était toujours plus froide que la mer...De plus, aucun d'équipement de nettoyage pour la piscine (même pas une epuisette), le vent amène énormément de poussière et de sable noir , Il ne maque pas grand chose pour que cette villa soit un petit paradis. On a bien profité des vacances l'emplacement de la maison est excellent si l'on souhaite se reposer ( c'était notre cas) . Bien à vous

Plusy : + lokalizacja (15 minut autem do najbliższej plaży) + bardzo dobry rozkład villi + cisza i spokój Minusy : - jeśli nie ma klimatyzacji, powinny być moskitiery na okna Polecamy! Wakacje były udane!

Amazing holiday

I recommend everyone this lovely villa in the heart on Fuerteventura. A quiet and relaxing village near Corralejo. We found the house very clean and comfortable, perfect for families. It has everything you need including the pool and the barbecue. The owners were very kind although we never met, they also left us a welcome pack. Hope to get back!

Excellent - a superb week's birdwatching from a lovely villa

The villa itself was perfect - a quiet location on the edge of Villaverde, clean and very spacious. We loved the villa from the moment we opened the door and we really appreciated the welcome pack with the essentials (especially the wine) after our long day's travelling! It was extremely comfortable for the four of us and the private garden with the pool was just heavenly on a hot afternoon when we had been out from early morning birdwatching. The wifi and internet was fast and easy to access. Villaverde has several restaurants and a very good local supermarket making it easy to either eat out or in. It's a local village not a tourist resort, so no big hotels or lots of people - which was exactly what we wanted. The whole booking process was straightforward and Chris and Ian (the owners) were very helpful in providing advice on both the villa and the local area to us as we'd never visited the island before. The only problems we had were a couple of minor snags mainly to do with the pool heatpump tripping out and the local agent came round straight away to sort it out, which was great. Linens and bath towels were all provided, but not pool towels - however we had remembered to take those with us!. Villa Paloma is perfectly situated for anyone wanting a birdwatching holiday on Fuerteventura and we would thoroughly recommend it as a base. Some of the island's sought after species can be found at or near the villa. We heard Stone Curlew every evening and found Fuerteventura Chat and Trumpeter Finch on the hillside opposite the villa. Hoopoes were everywhere and Laughing Dove was a regular visitor to the garden along with Spanish Sparrow. Tindaya Plain was 20 minutes away with Houbara Bustard, Cream-coloured Courser and Black-bellied Sandgrouse the highlights for us here. In summary - a fabulous holiday in a lovely villa in a perfect location. We'd love to come back to Villa Paloma - a week wasn't long enough and there's lots more of the island to explore.

High quality villa in a lovely area.

We had a fantastic week away. The villa is beautiful with everything you could need. It was spotlessly clean and really nicely decorated. The bedrooms were all a really good size, as was the kitchen. The children particularly pleased with Wi-fi and TV .Walking distance to a supermarket and some lovely restaurants. Nice quiet area but easy to reach everything. Will definitely return !

Großes schönes Haus, viel Platz, aber mit einigen Mängeln!

Als wir ankamen stand ein Willkommenspaket zur Verfügung. Bier, Toast, Schinken etc.. Beim weiteren Rundgang zeigten sich jedoch einige Mängel. Die Küche war ziemlich dreckig, einfach auch durch mangelhafte Pflege. Die Schubladen sind teilweise geflickt und fallen fast ab, beim herausziehen. Hier mussten wir erstmal selber sauber machen. Der Pool war ziemlich dreckig und wurde erst 3 Tage später ordentlich gereinigt. Sah dann fast wie auf dem Bild aus. Die Einrichtung in den Schlafzimmern hat deutlich bessere Zeiten gesehen. Auch eine Toilette war nicht in Ordnung und konnte innerhalb 2 Wochen nicht repariert werden. Hier mussten wir uns auch selbst helfen. Das innenliegende Bad hatte oft Fäkalgeruch aus dem Abfluss, was natürlich nicht schon ist. Zudem hatten wir mit Ameisen und Kakerlaken zu kämpfen. Die Ameisen waren fast überall sogar in den Schränken und Kommoden. Sie kamen aus einer Antennendose, die wir aber provisorisch abdichten konnten. Der Fernseher hatte keine Programme verfügbar und auch hier gelang es innerhalb von 2 Wochen nicht, dieses zu regeln. Hier kann durch Pflege und Wartung viel erreicht werden, man muss es eben nur machen. Regelmäßig!!! Insgesamt waren das viele Kleinigkeiten, die den Urlaub etwas trüben. Die Lage ist eigentlich gar nicht schlecht und der örtliche Bäcker ist top. Wenn ich wüsste, dass sich dort etwas ändert, würde ich wieder hinfahren, aber so wie es zur Zeit ist, bevorzuge ich etwas wo ich weniger am Haus arbeiten muss und mehr Urlaub habe. Daher für mich: schönes Haus mit Mängeln, daher der Preis nicht gerechtfertigt!

Beautiful, well maintained, peaceful villa in a wonderful location for exploring Fuerteventura.

We had a lovely family holiday, the Villa is stunning and the photos don’t do it justice! The villa and grounds are well looked after, plenty of room for us all and had everything we needed. We really appreciated the welcome pack as we arrived late at night. Beds were comfy and villa is well furnished. The location is great for exploring different parts of the island, we visited beaches, markets, restaurants, an aloe Vera centre, we went up in the mountains and even to a goat farm. Really superb holiday. Thank you 😊

Perfect place!

We were three adults and two teenagers and spent first week of January in vila Paloma. The house was large enough for allowing space and privacy for everybody (3 bathrooms/toilets well appreciated) and well equipped as per the description. Wifi was working well (essential with teenagers!) as well as the swimming pool heating (recommended at that period). The ones fleeing large crowed sea/golf resorts will be fully satisfied, the house is quiet and well situated, a bit in the outskirts of the nice village of La Oliva. Supermarket and good restaurants are close by, you can even walk to get there. The cactus garden, the swimming pool and the perfect orientation of the terrasse will also make pleasant a lazy day if you want to have a break during your stay. As the island is not that big, you can access everywhere without long driving. Last, the small attention with the provided welcome arrival package (small snack, wine and beers) made an immediate good impression, particularly when you arrive with a late flight! I would definitively recommend this venue, no bad surprise, no "extra sale on the ad", just as per description and probably even over your expectations.

Nice location with everything you need for a bigger group of people

Everything was as described. Maybe less insects in the building would have been nice, but this is something you probably have to expect in this clima.

Amazing place

We had a nice experience in Villa Paloma. Excellent house, plenty of space. Of course there are some faults, like swimming pool wasn’t warm as we expected and the beds are not that comfortable, also the colt is not what we were thinking. Nevertheless, we felt secure and had a nice place to go back after the beach. Definitely considering to go back to the villa.

Agréable séjour ...

Belle maison, bien équipée, dans un environnement très calme. Très spacieuse pour 4. Conforme à la description faite par le propriétaire. La piscine était bien chauffée, bonne température pour rentrer dans l'eau. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Fuerteventura. A proximité Parc Aquatique de Corralejo pour passer une bonne journée avec les enfants, Segway Tours El Cotillo (accompagnateur compétent, circuit intéressant). Un peu plus loin Oasis Park La Lajita, très joli zoo, bien entretenu.

Space, location, peace and quiet, located in a typical Canrian village. Friendly local people.
We have always wanted a place in the sun away from the busy tourist areas and after much searching we liked and choose this one. Hope you like it to.

WINTER SUN, WINTER SUN, WINTER SUN.....Enough said really.
Also its place to relax and chill out away from the masses with good food and wine, great beaches and only 4 hours away.
A quieter time to visit is May, June and September October for hot sunny weather and much cheaper flights.
