Huset är ett fritidshus med tre sovrum. Den har två badrum och två ensuiter. Huset är nymålad och har alla krav för dina semester behov. Det finns en ljus vinterträdgård intill köket som är utmärkt för avkoppling, läsning etc. Det finns en uteplats där du kan koppla av (med en uteservering och grill). Det finns en dubbelsäng i sovrummet med utsikt över havet och två tvåbäddsrum. Det finns också ett vardagsrum med vedspis!

Huset ligger inom 1 minuts promenad till byn (som innehåller restauranger, butiker, bar, café) och 5 minuters gångavstånd till stranden. Äventyrscentrumet (för att hålla barn / tonåringar underhållna) och hamnen ligger bara 5 minuters promenad bort. Tillgång till Waterford Greenway ligger 15 minuters bilresa bort. Comeragh-bergen och många andra stränder ligger inom köravstånd.

May break

Only short walk to local shops, cafe, restaurants, harbour, beach and clift top walk in Dunmore East. Short drive to Tramore for the beach and tourist attractions, or Waterford and the Greenway.

I didn’t want to leave

Teresa has done a wonderful job with this property. The pictures do not do it justice. It’s just up the road from the village which has everything you need and an 8 minute walk to the beach. The house has been updated and the bathrooms are clean and cozy. The water pressure in the master is incredible. The bedding is soft and the duvets are the perfect weight. The kitchen had everything we need to feed a family of 5. The house had 2 living spaces as well as 3.5 bathrooms and a laundry. It was well laid out and cozy. We will be coming back for sure!

Relaxing stay in Dunmore East

Theresa s house was so uplifting and cozy. We loved her sunroom which was so bright and warm and the view from the main bedroom was stunning. I would highly recommend this house to anyone. It is so convenient to the village and supermarkets. We found Theresa an excellent host. We will definitely be back.

A lovely holiday home. Spacious with well equipped kitchen, apart from no scissors. Main bedroom large, with kingsize bed and good bed line. Newly fitted shower rooms. Second bedroom rather small for two adults, no room for a chest of drawers as it had a sink in the corner! Rather disappointing. One of the quilts proved too small for an adult! The bunk room would have been perfect for another couple especially as it had an en-suite. A king sized bed would have fitted perfectly. Dunmore East is a pretty old fishing village with beautiful views over the estuary towards The Hook lighthouse. The oldest working one in the world (800 years old) and makes an interesting place to visit. Waterford is close by and there is a regular, cheap bus service straight into town. Several amazing museums especially the Medieval museum! We were not impressed with the Viking experience.

Easter break

Stayed over the Easter break, the host was lovely and was very informative of everything while we stayed there and helpful when we needed to find out about a few things about the house. It was home from home. Location was great. Would highly recommend staying there. We will definitely come back to this property again.

Dunmore East Xmas 2023

Our stay was very comfortable. Our host was very good and thorough with communication and provided a folder with all relevant information a guest from out of town would require. Close proximity to all services and amenities the house had everything you would want for your stay.

Very nice house in a great location. Walkable to shops, pub and beaches. Modum Wifi worked great even though the listing states that there is no wifi. Theresa was a wonderful host! THANK YOU!!

Family get together

Difficult to find the property initially since it was tucked back in a neighborhood. The hosts were good at responding and assisting with location. Once found was a delightful property, close proximity to the town. My teen nieces enjoyed walking to the beaches, shops and town. A great time was had by all and we would highly recommend.

Delight in Dunmore East

A clean, comfortable, well-equipped house in a beautiful part of south-eastern Ireland. The house is situated close to all the local amenities with some lovely views from the patio and main bedroom. Instructions from the owner re-key access, heating/hot water, kitchen and laundry equipment and other required pieces of information were clear and concise. We couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay. We hope to return.

Beautiful house in a beautiful location

This is an amazing house filled with light, in a great location. It was very comfortable to stay in, and the property owner is very responsive and friendly. The only things that could be inproved in this (and most vacation homes) are the selections of pots and pans and sharpness of the kitchen knives (i enjoy cooking). There is one floor tile in the kitchen that makes a surpising sound when you step on it. (You'll know it when you hear it... :)). Would absolutely recommend this house to all. Thanks, C.

Very Comfortable Home in Excellent Location

This home was very comfortable. I was particularly impressed with the quality of the mattresses and linens--one doesn't always find comfortable beds in a rental home. These were top-notch. Also, the house holds heat very well. We were warm and comfortable in the dead of winter. The owner was kind enough to put up baby gates at the top and bottom of the stairs. There were also toys for our one-year-old to play with, a portable crib, and a high chair. The owner was readily-available and immediately helpful even though it was Christmas. The home is in an excellent location, a short walk to shops, restaurants, pubs, and a park.

Wonderful seaside retreat

The property is very spacious and airy. We practically spent all our time in one area - the Kitchen/Dining/Conservatory with direct access to the patio seating area. As you would expect, the kitchen came fully equipped with all the modern appliances. There is also a nice sized utility room. The master bedroom has a wonderful view to the seafront and horizon beyond. It is also en suite and includes a great shower. The house is located within a 3 min walk to town and the local mini market (Costcutter) - which sells superb fresh fish on most days of the week. Dunmore East is a wonderful little town with lots to do and see there - This property is perfectly fitted out and positioned for you to take full advantage of its virtues.

Schönes geräumiges Ferienhaus

Wir haben unseren kurzen Aufenthalt in Dunmore East sehr genossen. Das Haus befindet sich in einer ruhigen Wohngegend in Dunmore East. Der Hafen und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind fußläufig zu erreichen.Das Haus hat eine große Küche mit Esstisch und auch ein gemütliches Wohnzimmer. Wir haben 5 Tage in Dunmore verbracht und während dieser Zeit den Südosten Irlands erkundet. Ideal für Tagesauslüge nach z.B. Kilkenny, Wexford, Cork und vieles mehr.Unsere Gastgeberin war überaus freundlich und zu jeder Zeit gut zu erreichen. Check-In sehr problemlos und Theresa hat sehr schnell auf Anfragen reagiert und uns auch mit Tips zur Umgebung versorgt.Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Fantastic location for a family of five

Our family enjoyed a fabulous stay in Dunmore East. Plenty of room to stretch out. Loads of bathrooms. Laundry to get things caught up. Great pub at the bottom of the hill. Couldn't be better. It didn't hurt that the weather was fabulous. We hope to be back.

Such a lovely home!

I couldn't have been happier during my stay in Dunmore East. The holiday village where the house is located is very charming and there is plenty of space for a family of 6, but cozy enough for me to feel at home on my own. The owner, Theresa was great with communication and even left some little welcome presents of tea and milk and little cakes. I highly recommend this property if your looking for a great house in a lovely little seaside village.

Lovely location with many convenient things nearby, store, restaurants,etc within walking distance Theresa was very helpful and actually checked in to make sure everything was going well. Very thoughtful The house had everything we needed and the shower and comforter in the master bedroom were to die for!

Fantastic stay just perfect

The home looks great in the pictures but is even better in real life, we loved it and it felt like home as everything you needed was there. Gorgeous rooms with lovely comfortable beds and quality bedding. Powerful showers. Spotlessly clean. Theresa goes out of her way to make you welcome and it was all perfect. Local cafes, bars, restaurants and shops all within a short walking distance along with a great bus route to Waterford. We will be back if you will have us again. Thank you so much.
