This is my second time staying here. I stayed before and after the renovation. I have to say they did a great job. I loved the pool and the area. The cabins were great, as always, and I will be coming back. It was a wonderful stay.

a perfect getaway

A perfect cabin for rest and relaxation. when sitting on the screened in porch you can hear the water flowing down in the river bottom. The cabin was very clean and had a very homey feel to it. The staff at the campground were very friendly and answered any questions we had. We have already booked another stay for this fall.

Weekend Getaway

We loved the cabin and really liked that it is near park and campground. It was beautiful and well-maintained grounds and trails. We enjoyed walking and biking the trails that ran along the water. Thank you for our weekend adventure!

Vacation

A friend and I was looking for somewhere to enjoy a quiet time walking and sightseeing. This place offered all of that we had a wonderful time I recommend it to anyone great for family friends, everyone awesome time.

Getaway weekend visiting Daughter and son-in-law.

Power outage Friday night with storms coming through. Made the best of dark and clear night skies star gazing. Daughter and son-in-law came by for a visit and had a good time hiking trains and listening to the falls on back porch.

Wedding Day Made Easy

We used the cabin to get ready for my husband and I’s wedding day as well as to stay in for a few days after. The ambiance was perfect, there was plenty of space for people to get ready, it made for beautiful pictures, and staying after was a beautiful experience. Being so close to our favorite hiking trails was great, and being in close proximity to anything we might have needed was great for our peace of mind. Couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend our wedding!

Noccalula Falls Cabins, our home away from home. 💗

My husband and I used to visit Noccalula Falls when we were dating 43 years ago. We even carved our names in one of the trees down in the rock trail area. He lived near the Falls for several years when he was a young boy. His mom grew up on Noccalula Rd. So our entire family has a history with Noccalula Falls. Once we moved back to Alabama, we made it a point to visit the Falls each Spring when everything is in bloom. Since then whenever we were in Birmingham visiting family we would make sure to bring our girls to the Falls. For the past 6 or 7 years we have stayed in the cabins. This year our daughter and her husband and family were able to rent one of the cabins and we rented the other. For my husband and I the cabins are perfect. We especially love the screened in back porch. We have had no complaints ever with any of our dealings with Noccalula Falls park and campground. Our entire family even came up last Christmas. The lights were absolutely beautiful and you had the perfect Santa. Thank you for creating a family destination with so many happy memories for us for our entire lives. 💗

Very nice cabin . I enjoyed the double porches . The cabin was clean . Location within the camper park was great as we had son’s family staying in their camper pretty near us . Trail system was phenomenal , I know you don’t have any thing to do with the trails or the park , but it was important to us . My morning walk was more pleasant because of them . . I would stay again . Probably the only complaint would be the mattress on the bed was sagging in the middle . Had to keep scooting over most of the night . It was the front bedroom . But I still slept well enough for it not to have ruined my stay .

The remodel of the campground was nice. It needs a return road (pass thru) before you exit the park instead of having to reenter the gate. We'll definitely be back. We stayed in a cabin, had issues with the washer, the ladies were friendly & fast. Sonya was especially great & went above & beyond! She took all the wet items along with our other laundry washed, dried & folded everything. We really appreciated it. Great place to stay.

Family vacation

The cabin is perfect. We really enjoyed being able to walk the trails from the cabin and listening to the water. I would recommend this cabin.

Such a family friendly location

We loved the site and easy access to the park and falls. It was so family friendly and laid back to be so close. The cabin was very clean, the staff were very friendly, and it was a perfect location for a quiet get away with small kids. Highly recommend.

Cabin #2 is a Wonderful getaway spot for family vacations or just for a quiet weekend to relax. Our 90 ft waterfall is an awesome site to see and attracts many visitors to our area. The Noccalula Falls Park is next door. It has a train, some outside animal habitats, pioneer villages, a covered bridge, and a Coy pond. We have the Black Creek Trail that houses several different side trails for walking, hiking, or mountain biking.

Not far from the path of Black Creek Trails, the Noccalula Falls cabin has everything you need for a relaxing getaway. This rustic-style cabin offers a breathtaking overlook of Black Creek a few feet from the screened-in back patio. Our cabin includes 2 bedrooms(1 queen and 1 full), a queen sleeper sofa in the living room, 2 cable televisions(in queen bedroom and living room), WiFi, a full kitchen, full bathroom, gas fireplace, washer/dryer combo, and a gas grill out back. During your stay you may be visited by our friendly groundhog, deer,or black squirrels.We also offer trout fishing here. Black Creek is stocked with trout and can be fished during the months of Nov-April with a valid state license and a trout permit. The trout permit can be purchased from our staff at the campground office.
