Första våningen
På huvudvåningen finns ett rymligt, fullt utrustat kök med en stor ö, rostfria vitvaror och kvartsdiskar. Köket är öppet för matsalen, som har ett stort bord med plats för 10 (plus 4 extra avföring på köksön). Av köket finns en stor skärmad veranda samt ett däck med en gasgrill. Den veranda har två takfläktar för extra komfort och 4 veranda rockers. Det finns ett picknickbord på bakgården som bekvämt sitter 10.

Vardagsrummet är utanför matsalen och har en 50 "smart TV med stor sektionssofa. Det finns ett sovrum med en drottning säng från vardagsrummet och ett första våningen pulver rum.

Andra våningen
På övervåningen hittar du tre sovrum, alla med eget badrum, samt tvättmaskin och torktumlare och linneskåp. Det stora sovrummet har en drottning säng och ett stort badrum med duschkabin, dubbla handfat och klo fot badkar. Mästaren har också en egen balkong med plats för två. Det andra sovrummet har en drottning säng och ett privat badrum med dusch / badkar combo. Det tredje sovrummet har en full säng med en tvilling rulla, en dubbelsäng och ett privat badrum med stor duschkabin (detta badrum har också en dörr till huvudgången).

Beautiful and comfortable

Great stay with great communication. The location is key as you can be in Oak Bluffs or Vineyard Haven in 5 minutes. Well stocked with everything you may need for cooking or beach fun!

Spacious and cozy

This was a great place that was close enough to the town center, but tucked away so that we could retreat at night. There were multiple adults in the house and we were able to each find our space to work, eat, relax on the days we stayed in.

The best rental property in Oak Bluffs!

It’s always a pleasure to stay in this beautiful home with modern amenities and a short walk or ride to town. The convenience of bikes, fishing poles, beach gear and towels, and laundry service make this such a breeze. The owners are extremely accommodating to any requests and maintain the place in pristine condition. O can’t recommend it more highly!

Amazing Property!

This was probably the best vacation property I’ve ever stayed in. The host was extremely responsive & provided all the information you need to enjoy MV. The house was spotless, spacious & absolutely beautiful. My family & I have already started planning to return next year. I highly recommend this property!

Great Stay

Magnificent time as always and property was great. Adults only this trip and there was a preference for having a different set up in the room with 3 beds. Also one attendee mentioned that queen bed upstairs was not as firm as desired (not the master suite). But overall a "5" on our stay

End of Season Stay

We (four couples) take an annual end of season trip to the Vineyard. We decided to try a new property this year and after much research we picked Dot’s House. We could not have made a better choice. The house is beautiful and well laid out. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The dining table was perfect to gather for a meal or a game and the deck and porch were perfect for quiet relaxation. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean and well appointed. The whole first floor has the perfect layout to hang out. We would love to stay again!

Great MV July 4th week

We stayed for our second time with Liz at Dot’s house and found it to be an excellent vacation destination. It is remote and quite for a backyard barbecue, but walking distance to downtown Oak Bluffs. The house is very well kept and we appreciate Liz’s quick responses to a couple of questions. We are (eagerly ) looking forward to another trip to Dot’s house in 2025!

Wonderful house!

We had an amazing stay at Dot’s house - it was so clean and comfortable and had so many nice touches for those with kids! There were books, beach toys, and kid plates, cups etc that were especially appreciated. The screened in porch was delightful for sitting in the evenings. We loved all of the host’s tips and with the shortcut path found it to be a quick walk into town. We hold love to stay here again!

Incredible stay in MV

This place is amazing! Before I forget, the private outside shower is an absolute must. I think I took all my showers out there, as did the kids! Not only does keep the sand out, it just feels amazing and with the sun to dry you outside - bliss. The house is fantastic - the photos are great, but I would say it’s even more so in person. It really feels like a modern home, everything is well equipped and the hosts are clearly creating a thoughtful retreat. Cooking there was an absolute joy. The decks are wonderful, including the screened off porch. It’s also super helpful to have beach chairs available, etc. The location is also great, it close to everything but private. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place.

Great time

Liz has thought of everything. Needed a griddle for pancakes, it was there, a blender for smoothies, she had a Ninja. The home is so well appointed and the inclusion of beach towels and linens is a true bonus!

Excellent Property

This was my first visit to Martha's Vineyard and this property was AWWWESOME!!! The house is absolutely lovely, all update appliances throughout the home, close to Oak Bluffs downtown area (within walking distance) with shops, dining and grocery. Our group of seven ladies had plenty of room for fun and relaxation. I definitely would recommend this property for an enjoyable stay on the Vineyard. P Oates Atlanta, GA

First Trip was Fantastic

This was our first trip to Martha's Vineyard and it was wonderful. This rental was as good or better than any I have stayed in as Liz's house provided every amenity needed. Not only is the house amazing, the access to games, beach chairs and towels made packing easier. We enjoyed all the interior and exterior spaces fully and loved the location. But even more helpful were Liz's recommendations. She was so helpful and easy to reach. Can't say enough and we hope to come back next year.

What a wonderful place for a vacation!

Liz's home was fantastic! Everything you could possibly want or think of was available. Following Liz's instructions we were able to get back and forth to the center of town via foot or bike in no time. Even my 81 year old mother was able to make the walk. The house was clean, and thoughtfully furnished - just like the pictures. We spent lots of time reading on the closed in porch and picnicking in the backyard. I am absolutely going to book this gem again.

Dot’s House is Awesome!

Exactly as advertised. Very clean four bedroom house. Large kitchen and dining area made family meals and game nights fun. We would definitely stay at Dot’s House again! Our only very minor comment would be to maybe add a free standing clothes rack in the main bedroom. The main suite closet was locked (which is totally understandable) but it would’ve been nice to be able to hang some of our clothes in the room. The overall experience was wonderful! Thank you!

New and immaculately maintained home

If you are vacationing on Martha's Vineyard, this is the home to stay in! Beautiful, spacious and a reasonable walk to Oak Bluffs. As a germaphobe, I also appreciated hardwoods throughout the house and the general cleanliness. Coffee on the screened-in porch was a nice, relaxing start to our days and we enjoyed the great bike rides around town. Like the reviewers before me, Liz was a gem and fantastic to work with...extremely responsive and so proactive in providing information on island activities and favorite restaurants. Thank you for making our stay hassle-free and enjoyable, would recommend to anyone visiting MV!

Excellent Experience

The property was better than advertised. It was fully equipped and tastefully decorated. Everything was in first class order and very clean. The only thing to be aware of is that the water heater is on demand, which means you may have to wait several minutes for hot water to flow from the tap. This was duly noted in the materials about the property.

We are a family of four who love the island more than anything in the world. I was raised as a year round resident of the island, but am raising my family in the Boston area. We split our time between Boston and the Island and are thrilled to have built a home for our friends, family, and guests!

Varför värden valde detta boende

The land on which this home was built was purchased in 1966 by Dorothy House, the great-grandmother of the current homeowner. Dorothy was an Oak Bluffs businesswoman who owned Dot’s Restaurant (now the Mad Martha’s location) and later Dot’s Snacks (now the Edgartown National Bank branch next to the Flying Horses). She lived for many years in a Gingerbread cottage at the end of Circuit Ave (now Cousin Rose Art Gallery). Her great-granddaughter remembers her fondly and is thrilled to have had the opportunity to turn the land purchased a half-century ago into a home shared by friends and family. In her memory, we have named this home Dot’s House.

We built this home with multiple groups in mind, which means there is plenty of room for everyone to be together, while still having private bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms for everyone's enjoyment and relaxation.

The home is in the perfect location: You can walk or bike to town and enjoy the hustle and bustle of OB, but return to the serenity of this home, which is nestled on a quiet street. The screened in porch provides a quiet enjoyment into the evening.
