Med barnen (eller utan) ger vårt hem alla bekvämligheter som du och dina gäster behöver för en avkopplande (eller fylld händelse) vecka eller helg i bergen. Också en perfekt plats för din ungkarl / brud / babydusch. Mindre än en timme från att Pittsburgh kommer till vårt hem är en enkel bilresa på PA Turnpike. Vårt bergshem ligger centralt i Laurel Highlands och erbjuder oändliga möjligheter till utforskning. Ligger på County Line Rd. (på väg mot Seven Springs) vårt hem är några minuter från ingången till Seven Springs Mountain Resort där skidåkning, simning, golf, idrottsliga leror och simning väntar. Vårt hem är också mindre än 20 minuter från stora attraktioner som Idlewild Amusement and Water Park, Frank Lloyd Wrights måste se "Fallingwater" och Ohiopyle State Park (vandring, forsränning, cykling och kajakpaddling).

4600 kvm. Med. Stone / Wood Mountain Home på sin egen hela 1 tunnland mycket. 5 säng / 4. 5 bad. Stort kök öppet för matsal och bottenvåningen vardagsrum. Två huvudsakliga bostadsområden (en nere / en på övervåningen) perfekt för att ge barnen sitt eget utrymme. Stor 70 "TV i vardagsrummet nere. 46" TV i vardagsrummet på övervåningen med DVD-spelare. Poolrum med bar fäst vid bottenvåningen huvudsakliga vardagsrummet. Halva bad och tvättstuga på bottenvåningen.

Gott om parkering i uppfarten. Köket är fullt utrustat. Använd gärna alla kryddor / oljor som du hittar i skafferi. Det stora matbordet har plats för 8 men det finns en frukostbar som har plats för ytterligare 4. På grund av försäkringsbegränsningar är användning inomhus spis inte tillåtet. Det finns emellertid en utomhuspeis som kan användas som pizzaugn eller för att tillverka s'mores och fjällkakor. Enormt däck och uteplats på sidan ger utmärkt utomhusutrymme. Helt ny 6-brännare propangrill som också kan användas samt ett helt nytt paket och lek för alla spädbarn / småbarn som kan vara en del av din grupp.

Great layout, plenty of sleeping space, big kitchen (we had multiple cooks going at several points). Close to a lot of things to do, several small grocers within 5 or 10 minutes. Fire pit, outdoor heart, hot tub were very nice.

There were 13 of us (11 adults and 2 toddlers). The kitchen had everything we needed. The appliances were great. The counter top ice maker was liked by all. The outdoor area was wonderful. The hot tub and fire pit were enjoyed by all. The house could use a thorough cleaning for cobwebs, etc. Also the lower living room sofas need replaced. You struggled to get up after sitting. The loft bedroom and the bottom floor bedrooms have no place to put clothing, etc. I would recommend this home. It was great for a large group. There are so many things to do in the area.

Great place for a large group with spacious areas to gather. The place had plenty of items to make you comfortable like games, an ice maker, blankets, and clearly labeled switches. The host was responsive to all messages. I would definitely recommended this place for a family or group of friends looking to spend some time together!

The property itself was just what we needed. The downstairs couches are indeed getting older, a bit hard to get out of once you’re in it. The neighbor across the street is an absolute nightmare. He told the property owner we were having a wedding at the house, we were not, we were having family photos taken prior to the wedding that was at an actual venue at a different location. But during that time, we weren’t able to fit all the cars in the driveway. We had two cars parked along the side of the PUBLIC road. The neighbor RUDELY came over during the family photos and harassed us, swore at us with some quite vulgar language until the cars are removed, threatened to call the state police, and bothered the property manager who then reached out to us. Property manager then threatened to have the police escort us from the property. Over two cars along a road and a misunderstanding about the nonexistent event on the premises. Understandable that they don’t want the entire road or their driveway blocked, but neither of those things were the case during our stay.

Lovely house

We were six women in our sixties, so we all wanted our own bedroom. Everything was great! Plenty of showers, lose to flight memorial and wineries. Plenty of places to eat in the area. Would definitely recommend:)

The house was plenty big to have room and spread out with different groups of people. The couches do need replaced. But overall, we had a wonderful time. Would love to come back again!

Girls trip

My friends and I had a wonderful girls weekend away in the Laurel highlands. House was very spacious and clean, loved the hot tub. It was only a few minutes from some hiking trails, which we enjoyed late morning after the rain stopped. We would definitely stay here again!

Wine tour weekend

My friends and I stayed at Greg’s house for a wine tour weekend and it was perfect! Beautiful property and huge bedrooms and kitchen. Perfect for our group size. Greg worked with us and made everything easy! Would definitely go back and stay again!

We had a wonderful time at Highlands Haven. It was perfect for our family with ages ranging from 8 months to 81. Greg is an excellent host and we loved the location, hot tub, pool table and beautiful home.

Wonderful Stay

This property was perfect for my colleagues and I. We enjoyed the common areas inside and had a nice fire outside in the back yard that is perfect for entertaining. Overall, an excellent stay!

Roomier than Headley Grange

2nd time in 5 years we’ve used this space to gather for Dam Jams at Whipkey. House is very roomy, well equipped, great kitchen and awesome lower side deck. Didn’t get to try the hot tub but it’s a nice addition.

Family Vacation

This house was perfect for our family vacation and plenty of room for all 13 of us! And was very clean. The location gave a very private feel but still close enough to many activities. We did a hike and whitewater rafting in Ohioplye State park, Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, Idlewild Amusement and Soakzone and Flight 93 Museum. At night we used the pool table and hot tub at the house to relax. It was a great vacation!

Summertime

We had a great time, no matter where we were just having time with family. The house worked for us. There are not 2 twins in the room with a queen as was listed in the site. We had one person with chemical sensitivities, odors bothered this person. They were noticed by others but not where it bothered the trip. Possible carpet floral cleaner and moisture. The one person slept in a tent in the great backyard. We did a lot in Ohiopyle which is a 30 min drive. If you are opting for mostly Ohiopyle activity I suggest you stay closer to Ohiopyle. Overall good rating though!

Highlands Haven is a large, private stone house great for large families and groups that want to be close to many outdoor activities in the Laurel Highlands. The house is located in an ideal location a few minutes away from Seven Springs Mountain Resort. It is also close to many other attractions like Ohiopyle State Park, Hidden Valley Ski Resort, Idlewild water park, Nemacolin Resort and many state parks. We are constantly upgrading and making Highlands Haven the perfect rental property.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

The property is located just off Countyline, on a flat road with a massive paved driveway. This makes it the easiest home to get to in the area, especially during the snowy winter months.
