Great Apartment

The flat is very clean and is well equipped with all that you need for a great stay. Fiona is a very friendly and helpfull host.The flat is central for bars, restaurants, shops and a five min walk to the beach. A perfect place to stay in Ayr.

Just had a wonderful 3 day stay in Ayr, the apartment is in the perfect location for exploring Ayr and the surrounding area, the host Fiona was great and made you feel welcome from the moment you are handed the keys. The apartment is spotless bright and comfortable.I will definitely be booking again.

Even better in reality than the photos. More spacious than I imagined.

Fiona's place is clean, cute, comfy and well located for a visit to Ayr. It is more spacious than I imaged and beautifully decorated. The beds were super comfy and it is so close to great restaurants and cafe's. Highly recommend her place.

This flat is clean and very comfortable, just as beautiful as the photos! Loved the decor and the artwork, the beds were fantastic, and Fiona was super responsive and easy to communicate with. We made good use of the washing machine, and it even has a dishwasher. Really appreciated the ability to have twin beds for our teen sons rather than one larger bed. We also appreciated the dedicated off-street parking. Note that the flat is up one flight of stairs, be advised if you have any mobility issues or are traveling with large suitcases, there is no lift (standard for this age of house). The town of Ayr wraps up pretty early--shops close between 4 and 6 pm, and by 9 the streets are pretty well deserted--a bit surprising for a beach town in high summer. (Maybe Ayr is more of a "town with a beach" than a "beach town.") But if you want to enjoy a relaxing flat that makes a good base for golf or further explorations (such as the Isle of Arran, a short ferry ride away), I would recommend this lovely property.

Excellent home from home

Lovely clean comfortable apartment with great quirky art/decoration, very well equipped and comfy beds. Very central in Ayr so possible to go out without taking the car in the evening or to the beach. Many good golf courses near by.

Location very central to beach town etc. Flat beautiful and decor looks like an interior designer had staged flat. Place was immaculate and host amazing with plenty utensils plates dishes to cook your own meals.

A very comfortable, very well equipped apartment in a really good location. Very helpful hosts had really thought through the contents of this property, and added some luxurious touches. In our opinion, better than the listing, would highly recommend.

Overall our stay was very good. Apartment was well stocked with everything that was needed for self catering. The location of the apartment was excellent as was the host Fiona who went the extra mile for us. However my brother found the en-suite shower very small and the basin in the other toilet was very slow to drain the water. Having said that I would certainly consider staying there again.

Stayed in Ayr on our second week in Scotland. Location was downtown so could walk to restaurants and shopping. Beach just two blocks away. Apartment was beautifully decorated and beds were very comfortable. Owners very attentive when had small problem with stovetop. Apartment is on second floor perfect for sitting by window and people watching!

Lovely stay in a lovely apartment with a lovely owner.

Comfortable apartment in a very good area, close to restaurants, supermarkets, parking lots and at a short walk from the beach. Clean and nicely decorated. Comfortable. Everything worked. Easy to get in touch with the owner. Fiona left some basics to have a coffee or tea, some biscuits, a bottle of Prosecco that unfortunately we couldn't enjoy because we were in Ayr to attend to a wedding and our schedule was quite full. She even left us some money to pay the parking lot tickets! I can't mention a single thing that wasn't superb, both about the apartment and the owner. Definitely, I'd book again in the future if I go back to Scotland,
