Denna tysta stuga med utsikt över Grand Mesa ligger 1/4 mil från världsberömda väg och mountainbike och vandringsleder och tre miles från den östra ingången till Colorado National Monument. Vi är 2 miles från centrum Main Street med känd Art on the Corner, konstgallerier, shopping, restauranger, den historiska Avalon teatern och säsongs Farmers Market. Vår stuga ligger 10 miles från Fruita Co, 11 miles från Palisade fruktträdgårdar och vingårdar, 90 miles från Moab och 2 timmar, till Telluride, Aspen och Vail. Den Powder skidort är 45 minuter bort på Grand Mesa, största platt topp berg i världen. Det finns längdskidor, golf, fiske och jakt i området.

Cabin

The cabin is not only homey it’s rich in history about Jackie’s life and travels, which made it special. She baked delicious bread for us which was available on arrival. The amenities were all as described and our stay was lovely.

An enchanting cottage!

Comfortable Stay, Nice Property with Interesting Decor

Very nice house with interesting decor and a backyard fit for a toddler to kick a ball around in! The host was wonderful and even provided us with a banana bread to make us feel welcome! The location is close to an entrance to the amazing Colorado National Monument, which was the first time, even though we're Colorado Natives, we have ever visited. Thank you for our stay!

Redlands Return

I was visiting with friends who live in the Redlands. Traveling with a friend who had never been there. It was great to have a comfortable & convenient place to stay while we were there. Jackie was very nice to deal in every aspect.

Grand Junction Vacation

GJ May Trip

We have stayed here a few times and always enjoy ourselves. Location is great. Quiet and comfortable. The backyard is perfect for our pups and Jackie is such a wonderful host. Thanks Jackie and the Chocolate Banana Bread was wonderful!

Secluded Sanctuary

Jackie is a great host, from the banana bread to the throws for sofa for the four legged family members. We loved the back deck while barbecuing and the dogs loved the huge back yard!

Quiet and well-appointed home away from home

This place was perfect for our vacation. It was well appointed, The host was very nice. She even made us banana bread! We particularly liked the outdoor space. The spacious house is in a relatively quiet neighborhood and also close to places we had planned to travel while in the area. Grocery stores and restaurants are conveniently close as well. We would stay here again if in the area.

Charming Cottage in Great Location

Sweet Apple Cottage is charming and comfortable. Its in an ideal location with groceries, restaurants and other services minutes away. The Colorado National Monument and other great hiking are also very close.

Cozy Cottage

We enjoyed our stay at the sweet Apple cottage! We were in town for a race over in Fruita and the convenience of GJ and the proximity to Fruita made for a great race weekend! Beds are comfy, and the kitchen is fully stocked. There are multiple tables and a desk should you need to work remotely as well.

Spring Break

Always a joy to stay in such a welcoming home. Love to cook in the well stocked kitchen. Every detail for others has been thought out. Was our 3rd stay and hope for many more!!

Family time

We drove from the Chicago area. My son and his family live close by, so it was a perfect place to stay. My grandkids loved the backyard! We loved the house! We will return on our next trip to Grand Junction.

I arrived to retire in Grand Junction from Atlanta, Ga. I taught 32 years at the college prep Lovett School. My subjects were history and religion courses with Middle Est History and Archaeology as my special interests.

This cottage was built in 1941 and remodeled in 2000 . Every day is a wonder to live in this beautiful valley surrounded by The National Monument, The Bookcliffs and the wild horses and The Grand Mesa.

Our area is quiet and very close to beautiful endless scenry and culture of the western Colorado and southern Utah. We are 30 miles from the Utah boarder. We are 3 minutes from Trailhead coffee shop for breakfast and lunch and 5 minutes from Starbucks in the Albertson shopping center.
