This home was absolutely beautiful and exactly as pictured and described—if not better in person. There was plenty of space for our group of 14, and we were all very comfortable. We had an amazing stay and would absolutely return. Our favorite place we’ve stayed in Silverthorne so far!

Great host, great home, great location! Perfect for our family ski trip. Kitchen very well stocked and plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The 2 dishwashers and 2 sets of washers/dryers were definitely a plus. We stayed here years ago when our children were young. It was great to be able to come back with them and their children.

Beautiful house and location. Comfortable beds, nice kitchen for family cooking, nice hot tub and beautiful views from the deck. Loved having a dining table that fit everyone around it. Comfortable relaxation areas. Very convenient to hikes, grocery, and towns to explore.

Annual Ski Trip Organizer

After about 20+ years, we finally found the perfect house in Summit County for our annual ski trip. Beautiful and spacious house that is meticulously appointed and maintained. Very private with great views.

Outstanding place to stay

The property was beautiful. Outstanding views all around the house. My family loved this house. Told me it was the best place they have ever stayed at. The 2 dishwashers was an added feature. Overall excellent.

Cabin stay

This property was amazing. It had plenty of room for 12 adults. House was equipped with everything you need. The heated floors in the house was a big plus but even more of a plus was the heated driveway and steps. I would recommend this place to anyone and would love to stay here again

Outstanding

I had my family of 10 adults and one grand baby. I highly recommend this property. We could see mountains, deer, moose from our house in back yard. Lovely home, centrally located for food. One of our best vacations!

Incredible house!

We have stayed in the area for the past 12 years and we've stayed at a different house each year. However, this home is by far the BEST house - it has all the amenities and then some! Kris, the owner is awesome to work with and I can say next year we will not be looking for another house!

Enjoyable and great experience.

Beautiful views from the terrace, we had a full moon on the 31st. Although it did not snow while we were there it had snowed a lot before and it was packed high all around. It is very spacious and comfortable. You may consider cleaning the rugs in the near future.

Fabulous

Two families, 10 people. We had everything we needed. We appreciated a huge fridge and freezer, amazing gas stove, two coffee pots, and stainless steel pots and pans. So glad we had options other than nonstick! Plenty of space for all of us to spread out. The hot tub was incredible and CLEAN after a long day of outside activities that left us all aching! Perfect location and overall a perfect home for an extended stay.

The lodge had great vibes, was very well constructed, and had awesome views. Great for a medium/large group who enjoy cooking and eating at home. The neighborhood and house are very quiet. The upstairs loft is great for working remote with a large external display. A few notes for other guests:-There were a few minor improvement recommendations we shared with the owners, but nothing major.-There were minimal oil/spray/spices/tea/coffee/tupperware/foil/etc so be sure to purchase all the basics at the store before you arrive-Most bedrooms get light very early (not all windows have shades) so be sure to bring an eye mask if you plan on sleeping in-the kitchen floor generates LOTS of static, which is worse when wearing rubber-soled shoes/slippers. Leather sole slippers would be best if you don’t want to go barefoot. Very enjoyable stay, and we’ll be back!

Beautiful home

We had 2 families (7 adults) that celebrated Christmas together. The home was beautiful, actually even more beautiful than the pictures. Even though the home is in a subdivision, it doesn't feel like it when you look out the balcony. It feels secluded. The view of the mountains along with the fresh fallen snow on the trees was just what we were hoping for. Loved the heated driveway, garage, sidewalk leading to the home and all the heated floors inside the home. The pool table on the lower level was perfect for something to do in the evenings. We enjoyed out stay.

Perfect Christmas Vacation!

In the words of my 8 year old grandson, "I don't want to go home and leave this mansion. I had so much fun!" This house is not only beautiful and well maintained, but it is in a perfect location to be able to hit multiple ski resorts and towns. It is also nice to kick off your shoes and enjoy the space and the neighborhood. You'll find sledding hills close by, porches and hot tubs that look out over the most beautiful vistas around, and a well appointed kitchen to enjoy just staying put! Radiant heating in the floors kept the house toasty warm all week even with almost daily snows. We hope to be back soon!! I bet Summer is lovely!

Great Family Place

We had a terrific time at this home. The location of the house is great. Very convenient to stores and restaurants. The home itself was stunning. The pictures don’t lie ❤️ We had a large group of 10 staying at the house, there was more than enough room to accommodate us all and then some. Communication with the owners was always easy and quick responses. We are already talking about booking it again for next year. Great family place!

Beautiful house

Very much enjoyed our stay. House was beautiful with nice views. Easy access to ski resorts. Loved the large table where the entire family could eat together. Well stocked kitchen. Plenty of room for 11 family members with spaces for gathering and spaces for quiet. Had a wonderful week. Lights were a bit tricky to figure out. Owner posted instructions but it took some getting used to.

Wonderful home but quite cold.

When we first arrived, we were very impressed; the place is huge, immaculate, well decorated, and detailed. The driveway and outside walk are heated and snow free. Unfortunately, this week was unusually cold for March and the house heating system did not keep up. The rooms with fireplaces were plenty warm, but the great room and the bedroom next to it (not the master bedroom) were cold. My daughter woke up one morning with a room temperature of 46 degree F. That was the coldest we saw, but it never got warmer than 56 in that room the entire stay. Loved the house, disappointed by the cold.

Thank you for your kind remarks and we're sorry that the heat became a problem during your stay! It was cold that week! We arrived to inspect shortly after your departure and found that bedroom at 51 degrees which is not normal! We immediately called our plumber out - our home has radiant heating through the floors - and found that our circulating pump was failing. That bedroom, being the last one on the zone was suffering the worst of all the rooms! We had the pump replaced and system fixed and heat restored to the whole house. We're sorry we did not know about the condition earlier so we could have remedied your stay.

2022 Ski Trip

Lovely home. We enjoyed our stay very much. However, some of the mattresses need to be replaced. The heated driveway and steps are AWESOME!

Can't wait to come back!

We loved our stay in this quintessential mountain home. Unpretentiously high end, the home was inviting and cozy. The spectacular kitchen had everything we needed and the flow of the home provided both wonderful places to gather and privacy when needed as well as amazing views. I can't say enough about this wonderful property and the responsive owners!
