Great space for large group

We liked the property and the multiple kitchens/washers, but there is not much to do in the winter unless you rent a car and drive to Amalfi or Sorrento. The host was really communicative and helpful and I bet this place comes alive in the summer. I would stay again, but not in the off-season.

Amazing patios! Short walk up stairs to duplex. 15 min walk down hill/stairs to beachtown, long steep walk back up to unit. Overall fabulous stay & lots of exercise!

We had a wonderful stay in Praiano. Francesco was incredibly helpful and very responsive. He gave suggestions on where to eat and organized taxis for us. Praiano was a perfect place to stay. Has some great restaurants and the town is quiet. The house was perfect for our group of 6. Lots of space and had everything we needed. Would definitely come back.

Beautiful home with breathtaking views.

The host was always very responsive and helpful. We will definitely book again. The home was well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Easy access to local restaurants and beach. Centered to Amalfi and Positano. 15 min. cab ride to both towns.

We loved our stay with SMAAC!

The place was perfect for our large group of friends and family. SMAAC went above and beyond with helping coordinate our airport transfers and booking a fun boat excursion. They were very helpful and responsive through the duration of our stay. Loved our Praiano experience!

Lovely Praiano Home

We were very happy with our stay here in Praiano. It was clean and simply decorated. A perfect place to sleep after days on boat trips and at the beach clubs. The grocery store down the street is very well stocked and convenient. The kitchen was a bit sparse but we made it work.

Francesco is an exceptional host.

He was highly responsive before, during, and after our stay, making sure all our needs were met. He assisted us with arranging transportation from Naples to Praiano and provided excellent recommendations for things to do in the area. The check-in process was smooth and straightforward thanks to his clear instructions. We stayed in two units, both of which were fantastic. The apartments offer stunning views and are conveniently located near the main street and bus stop. We were pleasantly surprised to find toiletries provided, a rarity in many of the places we stayed in Italy. The beach is about a 15-20 minute walkless than 10 minutes by bus. We highly recommend this place, especially for large groupsfamilies.

Excellent place.

Location in praiano is very good. Both houses are spacious. Bathrooms were clean and also very spacious. We would be back here. There are steps to get to this house but they are not that bad. We got a bag for kitchen cleaning that seemed brand new. When we opened, the brush was used and had a smell. The house upstairs had intermittent hot water.

Very spacious and serene getaway

Ideal for families with gorgeous sea view balconies. We picked our own lemons, rosemary and oregano in the house’s garden. Francesco was helpful throughout our stay, arranging a boat excursion with Antonio that was a highlight of our trip. He also provided beach towels on request and was responsive to several maintenance issues. The location is close to Tutto per tutti, a grocery store, and a 10 min walk from the Via Roma Sita bus stop. Like anywhere in Praiano, the location requires some strenuous stair climbing to get around, especially to get to beaches. The plus side is that it’s less crowded, and we appreciated the quieter pace here in comparison to Positano and Amalfi.

Amazing Support!

We have never came across such an amazing team caring supportive and th we attention to detail. Francesco and the team have left us a welcoming pack with a dinner breakfast and more. The kitchen has absolutely everything you’ll need for cooking olive oil spices
etc The house is well equipped in a very clean state and extremely comfortable beds, the house has few steps however the views and terrasses are just a dream. Francesco has responded to all our many questions helped settle and made sure we didn’t need anything, he has also organised a boat a car park and has made sure we were looked after in this gorgeous town. I’ll strongly advise to hire a scooter in order to explore the area. Thank you Francesco, we can not thank you enough for this outstanding service. .

Overall great experience

Perfect location in town and on the Amalfi Coast. Good customer service and amazing view. Very spacious villa and I would still recommend to a friend. We only had a few disappointments with the Villa and customer service. The TVs did works as advertised the entirety of our stay but once I notified the manager he worked hard to have service repaired. We really didn’t plan on watching any TV during our stay so it wasn’t a huge deal. Also the downstairs coffee maker wasn’t working and only one filter was available to make coffee. So we had to go out and buy filters after the coffee maker was replaced.Another issue was the bed comfort in the downstairs master bedroom. Worse mattress I’ve slept on in 10 years. For the price of this Villa I think that is unacceptable. Despite these issues
 We were still charged an additional €15 for additional sets of towels. You’d think they would have given them complimentary after all the issues we had. Oh well.

Frustrating experience

I have rented many homes in Europe and in the US through VRBO and HomeAway. I am a seasoned traveler who understands that occasional mishaps happen. I also have waited six weeks before posting this review in the hope that the SMAAC property manager would reply to my private email to her. I rented Casa Alessia for a 3-night stay with six relatives (cousins, nieces, no couples). It is a 2-BR home, but is rented with a house directly above it for larger groups (Casa Giorgia, also 2-BR). We arrived in raw, rainy 50F weather, and were greeted by Norman from the SMAAC Office. Within minutes of arriving at the upper house, the electricity went out. We had to text Norman for help with the circuit breakers, outside and in the rain, all to no avail. Also, the front door had been recently painted and was sticking. We couldn’t open it from the inside or the outside; we had to exit from a side, unlocked door. We were exhausted, so we went out for dinner while Norman resolved the power issue. Later he told us that the electrician would not arrive until the morning. The six of us reluctantly agreed to bunk in the downstairs house. My sister and I slept on the couches without sheets and with a soiled comforter. The next day, I texted Norman for an update. He replied that there was an unresolvable issue with the electricity. (He also mentioned that they’d had similar issues with that house.) He offered a 3-BR house (Casa Fralisa), but all six of us would have to move. We told him that this was unacceptable as our reservation had been for a 4-BR place. He finally relented and allowed three of us to move to that new house; the others could remain in Alessia. The next day, we left Fralisa early and returned that evening to a freezing, 42F-degree house. The power was out in that house! We had to re-set the circuit breakers 4 times in 45 minutes, outside and in the rain. Still no power. I texted Norman. His verbatim reply: “I am not in Praiano. I can meet you tomorrow morning only.” That was it. I then called Enza in the SMAAC Office. She brought an electrician to the house, then told us that we had turned on too many lights and we set the heat too high. Why had no one advised us that we could not turn multiple lights or that we needed to keep the heat below a certain temperature? There were other issues as well. Steer clear of this property company! Note: there is no direct link to post reviews on the VRBO site. I had to write to VRBO to request the link.

Fantastic stay.

Really cool setup with the 2 separate “living apartments” but right next to each other connected by a breathtaking balcony. Very responsive host. Be ready to walk up a few flights to get to the apartment but worth it. Would stay here again.
