The impressive landscape of the Costa de Caparica invites you to make great walks. The seafront promenade separates the town of Costa da Caparica from the sea. A series of spikes built to protect the village from the fury of the sea, have between each a large succession of small beaches. The beaches of Caparica are designated according to the name of the different concessionaires responsible for their exploitation, for example: TarquĂnio, Vermelho DragĂŁo or Praia Nova.
After the settled area of ââthe Costa da Caparica, there is an immense beach with about 30 kilometers, almost totally integrated in the Area of ââProtected Landscape of the Arriba FĂłssil and that goes to Fonte da Telha, forming an immense zone of beaches in three large areas: Costa, Acacias and Medos.
The number of beaches makes it almost impossible to name them all. In almost all of them you practice authorized nudism, but let's just point out the most popular ones like Praia da Mata, Praia da Rainha, Praia do Rei, Praia do Cabana do Pescador, Praia da Sereia, Praia de SĂŁo JoĂŁo, Praia da SaĂșde, Praia dos Medos or Praia do Sol.
