Mudline Logi Àr det perfekta lÀget för din jakt, fiske, familjesemester, romantisk helg eller flickor Get-A-Way. Vi kan passa alla dina behov. Vi har ett gemensamt omrÄde med en gunga, en eldgrop, picknickbord och ett stort omrÄde för barnen att leka. Som vi sa tidigare ligger vi i hjÀrtat av södra Illinois bara nÄgra minuter frÄn Kinkaid Lake och Shawnee National Forest. För att inte tala om flera bryggerier, nÄgra av vÄra favoriter Àr nÄgra: Big Muddy Brewing, Scratch Brewery, Abby Ridge, Brews Brothers och Shawnee Hills Wine Trail. Mudline Lodging ligger 10 miles frÄn Murphysboro, IL BBQ Capital i Illinois. Hem till vÀrldsberömda 17th Street BBQ och Pat's BBQ och flera andra bra stÀllen att Àta och shoppa (för mer information gÄ till vÄra platser att besöka i Southern Illinois sida). Vi Àr bara 11 miles frÄn Ava, IL som ocksÄ har bra mat och pittoreska smÄ butiker att utforska.     We had a great time staying here. The place was overall really clean, and It met the expectations of our family. We will definitely stay here again given the opportunity. The hosts are very accommodating and responsive to anything you ask.

    Another Great Stay

    We have stayed at this property several times and as always another great experience. Owners are the absolute best and the Cabin is always clean and ready before check in.

    Great stay

    The cabin was just what we needed for fishing at lake Kinkaid. Only 6 minutes from the boat launch. The beds were comfortable,kitchen well stocked, the bathroom and shower very nice. We thought it was perfect for 2 guy's fishing and not spending a boat load of money.

    Perfect place to stay

    Property was quiet and nice. Perfect for a place to stay for a hunting or fishing get away. Or even a little family as a place to sleep. As a family of 4 with a 4 year old and 1 year old it was perfect size. Country / outdoors setting and cheaper than most hotel rooms but about the same size. Will definitely be back.

    Pool tournament

    We rented this because SIU was graduating and all hotels were booked in the area. This place knocked it out of the park way better than a hotel. Will be back again

    Gaining access into the cabin was a bit confusing because it seemed like there were two separate numbers to use and it was very unconventional, unlike any other place we've stayed. But we figured it out and it was fine. The place itself was really cute, albeit a bit more rustic than we had thought. Also, it could have been helpful if there were a few more towels, I.E, hand towels in the bathroom and perhaps a mat to step on when getting out of the shower. But the price was very fair for what it was, and we're not staying at the Ritz carlton, so for the price there's really not much to complain about.

    Relaxing and Quiet Trip

    This is the 2nd. time we stayed there and it is worth the money. Clean Quiet. The one thing would help is to have a small Love seat to set on and a couple wood kitchen chairs. I would recommend it. So close to the Lake.

    Second stay

    This was our second stay at this cabin. The location is great for our needs to be close to Kinkaid Lake. Easy access in and out of the property. The cabin is as described but could use a deep clean as the fall spiders were very noticeable, cobwebs all over the ceiling and bathroom needed cleaned as well. There are also two small leak spots with mold on the walls. We did stay 3 days and would recommend staying here again with a little upkeep for future travelers.

    Perfect for glamping

    A better description of the property would be "glamping". We weren't prepared for the rustic (perfect fishing or hunting lodge) accomodations.We were not able to stay there the last two nights. The rating for the property manager isn't a fair question. It didn't apply in this instance but it wouldn't take the review otherwise.

    We built Mudline Lodging so families like us who love to travel to new place and enjoy the outdoors had a place to stay when coming to visit Southern Illinois. We have 4 daughters and have travel all over with them and we love what renting a house gives you time together as a family.
