En vacker låven konvertering belägen i ett avlägset men tillgängligt läge med fantastisk utsikt och oöverträffad promenad rakt från ytterdörren. Holly Cottage kommer bekvämt att sova en familj på fyra, eller skulle vara idealisk för par, som vill förlora sig i det underbara landskapet. Oavsett om du vill utnyttja alla aktiviteter som erbjuds i Beacons, eller bara mysigt framför elden med en bra bok, är Holly Tree platsen för dig. Det finns en härlig pub några minuters promenad över fälten, och det är en kort bilresa till den livliga staden Brecon, eller aktivitetsnavet i Talybont-on-Usk. Vandringsleder som leder direkt från gården tar dig upp på bergen, ner till kanalen eller längs den fantastiska Usk-dalen. Beläget vid den östra änden av Beacons, är du väl borta från de folkmassor som flockar till Pen Y Fan (även om erfarna vandrare kan nå det direkt från stugan).
Börja dagen med en lagad frukost bredvid bildfönstren som tittar över Uskdalen och planera din promenad för dagen på vägkartan bredvid dig. Picknick på beacons, eller planera promenad till slut på Royal Oak i byn till lunch, sedan huvudet tillbaka till stugan att varva ner. På sommaren kan trädgårdsmöbler och grill användas för att få ut det mesta av utsikten från trädgården. Om vädret inte är så bra (och det händer ibland i Beacons ....) tänd loggbrännaren och sjunker ner i det mysiga stenväggade vardagsrummet, med Freesat TV eller DVD för underhållning.

Beautiful location

A lovely spot in the Welsh countryside. Great views and nearby walks across the fields to the valley. We did find the driveway a bit difficult in our hire car that did not have a lot of clearance, so once we had unloaded luggage we left the car down the driveway and walked in and out of the property.

Lovely short break

We very much enjoyed our short break, 5 nights, in this lovely cottage. Great location with super views. The cottage had everything that you could possibly want for a stay away from home and very clean and comfortable.

Lovely cottage, amazing location, couple of issues.

We had an amazing stay at this cottage for a few days of walking the Brecon Beacons. Cottage has everything needed, is in a great location for walking and has an amazing pub ‘Royal Oak’ with superb food in easy walking distance. Pity about the issue with the heating and TV didn’t work, but these were minor issues compared to the great cottage. Thank you Richard

This is our home in brecon beacons

This was our 3rd stay in this place and like always we had a great time. We love having a fire in the evening, plenty space for kids to run around safetly, peace and quiet, fully equip kitchen and games.

Beautiful, stylish, well equipped hideaway in the Brecons

We loved our stay at Holly Tree and we super comfortable there. The cottage is stylishly decorated and very well equipped, with a glorious view of the Brecon area. We warmly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful hideaway from the world for a short while.

First visit to Wales

Beautiful and silence

We had a great stay in the cottage. All equipment was available in the kitchen and great view from the bedroom and dinertable. The neighborhood is great for beautiful walks. And don’t forget to visit the local pub

Fantastic get away

The pictures do not do this place justice. The location is amazing and the cottage is decorated exceptionally well with everything you could need with nice touches such as having books and games to entertain in between walks. One of the best places we have stayed!

Perfect base for exploring the Brecon Beacons.

We had a wonderful time at this property, all our needs were catered for. The views are fantastic and the children loved watching the sheep as the farmer moved them from field to field. We would highly recommend this rental.

Beautiful spot

Beauiful spot with spectacular views. The cottage was very comfortable with all the amenities we required. A short walk up from the pub in the evenings was perfect for walking off the dinner at the local pub. Lovely walks right from the front door too.

Brilliantly located cosy cottage

A brilliantly-located, peaceful, and well-equipped cottage. Equally good for long days walking in the hills or for activities to do with young children. The beds are comfy, the kitchen is well equipped, it's all great! Be sure to check out the incredible grove of ancient yew trees in the nearby churchyard !

Lovely cottage - even better than the photos

Had a wonderful stay at Jonathan's cottage with my partner and our toddler. The cottage is spotlessly clean and very well-equipped - all the stuff is good quality too. The lounge is really cosy, esp with the log fire burning, wifi is great and you have great views across the area. An excellent hiking base - we didn't want to leave.

Cosy stay in the Brecon Beacons

This is a cosy property on farmland in the Brecon Beacons with good access to the surrounding areas. We used it as a base for the Hay Festival and exploring other attractions. Pub in the village and plenty of walks. Property is clean with everything you need. Outdoor space being on a steep incline, however, not great for younger children.

So peaceful

We really enjoyed our stay in this well equipped cottage. It has everything you need for a great holiday. It is extremely clean and has plenty of hot water. The views of the surrounding area are stunning. We especially enjoyed the peace and quiet which made sleeping so easy. There are several walking trails nearby. This is a beautiful area of Wales and we would recommend this cottage.

Great short break

A lovely cottage in a beautiful part of the country. It is really well equipped (not something you find in all holiday properties)A nice surprise to find some wine waiting for us on the kitchen table. There are some good walks from the front door. Jonathann was very helpfulwhen we had to contact him. Would thoroughly reccommend this cottage.

Peaceful and relaxing and lots of walking

We had 11 nights in the beautiful Brecon beacons in Holly cottage and couldn't fault it we did lots of walking from the door and managed to find waterfalls to cool off in in the sweltering heat. The cottage is in a lovely part of the Brecon beacons 500m pleasant stroll from the canal and village of Pencelli. The cottage was lovely and cool to return to after a days walking in the mountains in 30c heat and it had everything you needed for self-catering and the added bonus of a canal side pub 500m away menu there was limited but the fact that your literally on the canal made up for that. The directions given for check in and communication where all perfect. Thank you for a lovely holiday.
