Kealia Landing House ligger på en bluff med utsikt över den breda, sandiga Kealia Beach med panoramautsikt, oförglömlig utsikt över Kauais östkust som sträcker sig tio miles till Hoary Head Mountain Range. Från denna underbara cul-de-sac i ett historiskt kvarnsamhälle finns det många möjligheter till rekreation! Gå nerför stigen till en vågskyddad del av stranden. Eller promenera genom avskilda stränder i miles på Kauais nya asfalterade "Emerald Lei" gång- / cykelväg precis nedanför huset. Två miles på vägen i den andra riktningen leder dig rätt in i Gamla Kapaa Town, enligt Forbes magazine; en av de 15 vackraste städerna i Amerika.

Huset påminner om design av Richard Neutra och är en modernistisk, arkitektonisk glädje. Golv-till-tak-fönster, tio meter höga mahognytak i Honduras och varma färgade betonggolv är bara några av funktionerna i detta moderna eleganta och mycket privata hem. Perfekt designad och möblerad för tre par; det finns ett separat höl med fantastisk utsikt över Stilla havet som fungerar som ett kontor. Det otroliga biblioteket i Hawaiiana innehåller många böcker om Kauai och Kauais historia.

Sitt på gräsmattan och njut av de spektakulära brytningarna av säsongens valar när de passerar punkten. An absolutely incredible property. This was probably the best vacation of our lives, and the house had a huge part in that. The house is so comfortable and beautiful and the location is absolutely stunning. We arrived after dark the first night and when we woke up the next morning we were in awe of the beauty. The hosts were amazing and helped us with everything we needed. Thank you!

Wonderful stay at this house! Very private and quiet neighborhood and centrally located. It’s nice to have a spectacular view and a yard for the kids to play in. Well stocked even with beach items including a cooler. It truly felt like home and we all are sad to leave!

Pleasant stay

We are a family of six adults and two infants. Our stay was as comfortable as it can be with a great view and close proximity to a beach. The house was well stocked and clean.

Great house!

Beautiful location and great house! The house was as advertised, was clean, comfortable and had great extras like beach chairs, boogie boards, a small cooler and more. The location was very central and the nearby walking path was perfect for a great run or walk with a perfect view of whales and dolphins in the morning! We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this house to others!

Kealia Landing House Trip

This was our first time to Kaua'i and this property did not disappoint! Just the two of us for our 25th wedding anniversary. We spent hours just relaxing and watching the waves roll in and out. The view was breathtaking and even though there are neighbors it is a very private yard. Loved listening to the waves lull us to sleep at night. Incredible food nearby at Tonys Catch , Kenji Burger and Oasis on the Beach. Nothing is too far so we had tons of fun and adventures while we were there. Thank you for sharing this piece of heaven with us!

Wonderful sunsets and sunrises every day. Yes, you get both from this location! Well appointed home has everything you need. Well maintained and clean. Consider that there is no AC and that stairs are quite steep.

Love: property provided beautiful view and setting. Perfect for meditation and relaxation. Did not like: difficult walk down hill to reach the beach. Home itself needs some updating, ie. Bathrooms and mold in the washing machine.

Perfect location for the Island

Our weather was spotty, so it was nice to be able to relax and watch the storms and surf from our perch on the hill. We arrived to find the internet not functioning, but when we notified the property manager the problem was quickly and professionally fixed. An excellent vacation home and management by KVR.

Wow on the house!!

On behalf of the “G” gang…..wow!! As an architect w/an affection for contemporary design, I love the use of the various materials and attention to details. Very well thought out floor plan which lended itself well to our party of six. We all enjoyed the nice amenities (surround sound iPod dock, multi disc CD, wireless Internet) & made good use of the BBQ grille. Thank you for sharing your home w/us!! BG and LG

Fantastics cliff, oceanfront Views

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Views of ocean are fantastic and short drive down to beach below. Don't even think about navigating down hillside. House was great but you are staying here for the end to end panorama views of the ocean. Only downside is for whatever reason the extra parking spot outside that is for those staying there is/was used by transients with cars parking there. Reported that to rental. Police had to come twice with one a foot pursuit down the hill. Not great scenery there for our kids and is the big reason why you definitely can't leave anything unlocked when not there. Also guest toilet broke at the end of stay.

Breezy home with gorgeous views!

We were here for Christmas (my fiancé and I, my sister and her partner (all in our early 30s) and my parents (in their late 60s)) and had a wonderful time! The kitchen is well-stocked, the house is spacious, has a good sound system, relatively comfortable communal spaces, and a good amount of beach supplies (towels, 6 beach chairs, 2 umbrellas, and some other stuff.) Beds are comfortable and closet space is plentiful. Lovely outdoor shower (cold water only.) Be aware that the trail down to the beach is quite steep with loose soil, and will not be accessible for those with limited mobility, but the beach is only about a 2-minute drive. For those who can use the trail that's pretty awesome. 10-minute drive into Kapa'a, or a 1.5-mile-ish walk/run, which was great! Curious lack of blinds on the ocean-facing windows, which made for a hot upstairs bedroom during the day and could be uncomfortable for particularly modest people. Not all screen doors close entirely, so some bugs do get into the house, but mostly little gnats that aren't too bothersome. Countertops in the kitchen and bathrooms are a bit on the tall side so super-shorties beware. Overall we had a fabulous time and would absolutely stay again!

Amazing views. Great location. Nice linens and towels. This property is idealistic. Until you live in it. The kitchen is small and many things are old and well used. The sink nozzle kept untighting and spraying everyone, but my husband fixed it. The grill was broken so they brought us the back up one that was very old and smallish. It can get quite stuffy when doors are shut. The up stairs bedroom seems really nice, the views are amazing. Until you have to use the bathroom. The stairs that lead up to the bedroom divide the bedroom from the bathroom so if you want to walk from the bedroom to the bath all natural. Everyone one in the living room can see you walk across. Which is not ideal. One of the toilets constantly was running. And overflowed when both showers were in use. Im guessing it couldn't take the amount of draining for the air gap thus the toilet that kept running overflowed. So we had to clean that up. The trail down to the beach is pretty sketchy. If they could update a couple things.
