Near the edge of a bluff overlooking the ocean, this ground-floor condominium offers fabulous ocean and coastline views. Bali Hai, the landmark mountain made famous in "South Pacific," is just one of the awesome sights that guests enjoy here.

Relax indoors or on your lanai to take in the gorgeous scenery - boats sailing by, playful dolphins offshore and, during winter months, giant humpback whales. Spectacular sunsets color the sky along Kauai's beautiful north shore in the evenings.

Lounge poolside and take a refreshing swim from time to time at the pool just a few steps away. Beach lovers appreciate the path which leads to sea level and a sandy beach below the bluff. Plan a picnic here or just laze in the warm sun, relax and enjoy the beautiful panoramic vista.

This condo is a comfortable home-away-from-home which is conveniently located near restaurants, shops and activities. The fully furnished kitchen makes it easy to dine at home and, when you wish to dine out, there are many restaurants in right in Princeville and in nearby Hanalei from which to choose. Easily walk to Hideaways Pizza Pub right at Pali Ke Kua which is open for dinner and to Princeville Resort's restaurants just a bit further away.

great view but some problems, would not repeat

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Stayed six nights. Beautiful view of ocean. Generally well kept unit. Problems:very small space for the price, tv did not receive stations for two days(called provider and manager) , never really worked properly, snorkling equipment was filthy and moldy, two lamps stopped working...manager replaced one with tiny desk lamp, we had to ask that the other, a large floor lamp, be removed. It was but never replaced and filthy area where lamp had been was never cleaned. There was no cleaning service offered during six night stay.

This was a fantastic unit!

Couldn’t have picked a better location. Fantastic view. End unit felt private even though it was shared with 8 other units. Even had our own set of resident nenes on our lawn. Unit itself was great. Nicely appointed and stocked with everything we needed and much more.

Third time stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Having stayed on property 6 or 7 times over the years, 3 times in this unit I can say it’s got the best view one could hope for. A view to the mountains out the dining area is that little extra special this unit offers. Nicely appointed, a bed a bit too firm perhaps and no AC if that’s important to you (only one of the three times did I really wish it had that).What’s not great is the price, it’s become painfully pricey so we are unlikely to rent it again.

Best View in Kauai !

The property is as advertised and more! The ocean views from this end unit were more beautiful than you can imagine. The condo was clean and the owner provided lot's of thoughtful extras. The location was walking distance to beach and great dining!! We will be back again soon to this fantastic oasis

Tropical paradise

We enjoyed our stay immensely and loved that fact the condo was a ground floor end unit which made it removed from a lot of foot traffic. The views from the lanai were amazing and the unit was well stocked with necessities including snorkeling equipment. The location was convenient for shopping, dining and market. We would definitely book this property again.

wonderful whales

Incredible views , fantastic whale watching from the lanai , well appointed kitchen , near many great beaches , convenient to Hanalei .The only downside is the lack of bbq facilities , but that's a small price to pay for such a beautiful condo.

Brilliant Views!

What a charming and cozy condo. You walk through the doors to the most amazing view. The unit is immaculate and truly has an island feel. Close to outstanding north shore beaches as well as the restaurants and ambiance of Hanalei. Highly recommend

The unit provides a washer & dryer that is convenient. The only drawback would be the living room furniture—it has been well used and is not comfortable. Some street noise.

Still paradise!

This is my third time returning to this specific condo and I firmly believe it is the best spot in Princeville. You cannot beat the views and being a corner unit makes it feel extra private (as long as there aren’t noisy neighbors upstairs!). Highly recommend this spot if you’re like me and just want to gaze at the ocean and watch the sunset over Bali Hai.

ABOVE AND BEYOND

First thing you need to know. This condo is immaculate. It's cleaner than clean, and every detail has been thought of. From tape and scissors and zip lock bags in the drawers, to soap and extra TP in the bathroom....nothing has been overlooked. But the real reason I felt compelled to gush about this place is the service Kauai Vacation Rentals provided. I forgot to pick up the condo key at the car rental place in Lihue, where they had kindly dropped off the key for me. I got all the way up to Princeville before I realized I had forgotten, and was dreading the 2 hour bonus drive I would have to take. Diane in the Princeville office kindly provided a backup key though IMMEDIATELY and spared us the trouble! Thank GOODNESS. Then, our fridge was having issues staying cold, and when I mentioned it to them, there was a massive cooler with ice in our room within hours, and a brand new fridge installed within 24 hours. WOW. A very minor inconvenience for us, but it was handled so efficiently I almost couldn't believe it. We'll definitely be back. Thank you for an amazing stay.

Great stay

We had a good overall stay as the unit was as described, with nice touches of 2 sets of snorkeling equipment; a couple mats, chairs, and foam noodles. Also a few sun hats hanging by the door. Host was also responsive. Views are same as pictures, with a nice side yard to the left whilst looking out the back sliding glass door. Some info missing we would have liked to know is that the unit has slatted glass on the entryway, the bathroom, the bedroom and dining room for ventilation purposes. In addition to this noise as you can imagine, the unit itself isn’t sound proof at all; which in sure isn’t always a problems. But for us,it was as the unit above must be larger than this one bedroom unit and had a family up there that yelled, banged, stomped and honestly sounded like a construction zone nonstop while they were there. Starting before 7am and not ending until after 10 some nights. We complained once (which we have never done before) and they did respond and spoke with the parents who said “their kids got away from them this morning”. It was their whole stay which was the majority of our stay, it’s just the way their family operates and we also understand this isn’t something they could do anything about. The reason to include this info is that depending on your trip type, you may plan on being in the unit more on some trips than others or just want to sleep in and if you get a family like this; there’s not much to be done about that. For us, I would still stay here again.

Its a 10

My wife and I visited Princeville to celebrate our 10th anniversary. We stayed in this condo, which is simply phenomenal. A few non-obvious highlights worth mentioning: first, its a corner unit in the very first building in the Pali Ke Kua community. In other words, you have no neighbor to your left. Second, its a ground floor unit so you can walk right out onto the grass, as well as hose the sand off your feet when you get back from the beach. In the early evening, perhaps 200yds away and down the street, you begin to see people gathering on a small grassy area. They've come from all over the Princeville community to watch the sun go down. But you need not join them, because you have just as good a view, if not a better one, from the chair you're sitting in on the lanai. Your drink of choice is within arms reach and you have a front row seat to one of the consistently best sunsets on the planet. While the grassy knoll down the way clears, you and yours stay seated and watch the dusk gather and the stars arrive (when we were there, it was a full moon and we therefore got to view a surreal moonset over Bali Hai each morning). Ten years ago, we had honeymooned in Princeville and stayed at the fancy resort (now the St Regis) not even 1/2 mile down the street. This was so much better, and for a fraction of the cost. The amenities were perfect, the condo nicely appointed, and naps on the couch with just the screen doors in front of us and the sound of the ocean and the cool ocean breeze all over were just outstanding. Final notes -- the owners were very gracious w/ questions etc when we were booking, and KVR (the property managers) were proactive and highly professional as well. Made everything seamless. There's a grocery store 1.5mi away, a beach w/in walking distance, and the best scenery in the Pacific everywhere and anywhere you turn. Stop reading this and book the place now. Its impossible to be disappointed.
