2 Brooks Idyllwild Vacation Cabin har varit en familjstuga i över 25 år. Det byggdes 1964 och utvidgades och ombyggdes 1994. Det är arkitektoniskt intressant design fångade Hollywoods öga och kabinen användes som den primära platsen för en film med titeln "Se inte tillbaka" 2013.

Det är en plats att njuta av tillbringa semestrar, sommar och vinter, och det rymmer många glada minnen för alla som bor där. På vintern är det ett bra ställe att koppla av med en kopp något varmt och läsa en bok framför elden. Det finns ett omfattande bibliotek med böcker i huset som sträcker sig från allvarliga till humoristiska, sakliga och fiktion. Sätt lite musik på stereon och slå tillbaka och njut. Om läsning inte är din sak så titta på en film och fördjupa dig i surroundljudsystemet. Se filmer från kabinens klassikerkollektion eller hyr en nyare film från videobutiken i stan. Om spel är mer till din smak finns det ett urval av familjevänliga spel, kort, pokerchips och pussel för att vara borta.

Vakna upp på morgonen till vacker utsikt över träd som omger dig. Låt din kopp Joe snuggla framför spisen eller utomhus på ett av de tre däcken.

Lätt gångavstånd till stan, du kan gå endera riktningen från uppfarten och njuta av restauranger, butiker och barer utan krångel med parkering. Vandringsleder finns i närheten om höglandets äventyr är en passion. Kom ihåg att registrera dig för vandringar i National Forest på Ranger Station innan du åker ut.

Om du vill laga mat under ditt Idyllwild-äventyr finns det en grill för att skära upp den perfekta biffen. Med ett komplett kök och ett stort matbord kan du skapa och njuta av en semester (eller vilken dag som helst) fest med familj och vänner.

Great cabin

The cabin is beautiful, very clean and the communication with the manager was excellent. We had an incredible mini vacation as a family.We will definitely comeback on winter time to enjoy the snow !

Very Quite Retreat

We were looking for a place tucked in the woods but not too far from town. The home is in a quiet neighborhood. Our stay was pleasant and the host was responsive. The home is big with a everything you need in a kitchen. The bed is super comfortable. Town is just minutes away and all of the hiking trails too. Even the mountain bike hub was just a few miles away. We enjoyed this place so much, we will most likely come back again to stay.

Great Christmas Memories

We had a very enjoyable stay over the Christmas holidays. The cabin has a cozy fireplace at night and the design provides lots of natural light during the day. There’s lots of both indoor and outdoor seating. The back deck with its woodsy view is a particular nice place to relax with a cup of coffee or a book.

Relaxing and Heartwarming Vacation place

It was awesome and relaxing place to spend your getaway vacation. The cabin was equipped with almost everything that you may need from entertainment to essentials. It has nice view and comfortable furniture with touch of 60s and 70s. There were lots of books and it was amazing to explore some while we were there. The internet connection was also very stable. Cabin was only few minutes away from the markets. thanks

Warm and Cozy!

Very nice home, loved the fireplace and great layout in common area. Was unaware when reserving that there were no window coverings. Discovered just before our last night that there were "shades" in the master closet that could be hung up, but they also fell down during the night. Not a problem if you are an early raiser. Nonetheless we really did enjoy our time there.

Wonderful weekend getaway

The cabin and linens were spotless! We saw deer, squirrels and birds while relaxing on the deck. It was walking distance to town and the new Idyllwild Brew Pub. Great getaway and we'll be back. Thank you for providing us a wonderful place to stay.

Short getaway

My husband and I decided to find a place to relax before our teenagers begin school. We decided on Idyllwild so we could go mountain biking and because we thought it would be a safer destination during this Covid-19 pandemic. The house is conveniently located near the town center. We were able to order food for pick up and buy essentials from the market. It looked just as described on the app. There are plenty of windows around the house making it bright. But it made sleeping-in difficult, so be sure to bring an eye mask if you like total darkness. Once the sun shines down the sun roof, it is hard to continue sleeping. The kitchen was fully stocked with plates, cook wear, and utensils. There was a grill in the back. The weather reached 90 degrees so it was hot during the day. I wish there was air condition, but it cooled down at night. The property management answered our questions right away, which was great. I recommend this house to families.

Fantastic!

Better than we dreamed of! It was a great place for a family Thanksgiving and a comfortable place for lots of reading in front of the fireplace! No complaints - only Thanksgiving! We already plan on coming here again!

Great location. Well equipped home.

This was our 7th annual trip to Idyllwild and our favorite location. Close enough to walk to town, not far to Humber Park for sledding, and quiet enough to enjoy the solitude. The main home is a great home away from home. The kitchen was easy to work in for all meals (except for no dish washer). Ample seating for dining and lounging. Heater/fireplace was super cozy and warm. We all slept really well in the beds and the 2 bathrooms were great. We didn't end up using the detached 3rd bedroom but I'd recommend it for 3 couples who each want their space - or if you be to exile the snorer in your group. :) You will be spoiled for choice of books to read. I could have spent all day reading in front of the fire place if the kids didn't want to go sledding. So nice too that there were so many TV's with DVD players. Very gracious owners who went out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect.
