Kabinens inre har fantastisk utsikt från vardagsrummet / matsalen, sovrummet och köket. Stugan har tre sovrum - ett med en kung; en med en full; en med två tvillingar. Stunning Views!

Lovely property exactly as advertised. Hosts were very responsive and answered every question quickly, including our last minute request for an early check in. So peaceful sitting on the deck, looking at the river and listening to the birds and the cows across the way. Easy drive to the Ozark Folk Center and Mountainview for music.

Cabin w/ a View

Beautiful cabin. Everything was as described. The host expected me to be digitally avaliable 24/7 while I was in and out of reception. There was a misunderstanding on a payments due date. The host called the sheriff on me when i didn't respond to her messages immediately and continously harrased me over the Vrbo messanger and my phone even after Vrbo confirmed what "due date" meant and this was confirmed by the sheriff. This completely ruined the last day of my stay. To the point she tried to cancel and change the due date without my knowledge. The app isnt letting me add photo's, but the grill was very dirty, the seasonings dated back to 2012 and several utensils were melted, broken, and chipped. I never expected to be harrased to the point the cops where called. I will probably avoid Vrbo from now on.

Calico Rock Cabin

Wonderful stay at this Calico Rock cabin. Clean, lots of amenities …. Kitchenware, washer/dryer, coffee makers, comfortable beds & the view from the deck is simply gorgeous. The host was great at communicating, checkin was simple & easy. Entire stay felt like home.

This house was perfect. No bugs in the house at all, great water pressure, everything we needed for a five day stay was supplied. Vickie was a fantastic host. View was spectacular. I will definitely be back.

Relaxing stay

We spent a lot of time on the deck overlooking the river. It was so relaxing we didn’t want to leave!!! The location is great. It’s private, but very close to town. The house had everything we needed and wanted. I will keep this house on my list of places I would like to revisit!

Extremely Impressed

The location, facilities and view were even better than the pictures indicated. We had an excellent view of the river. The communication was very clear. The information book at the house was detailed and easy to follow. The things included related to cooking and cleaning were the most comprehensive of any place I’ve ever stayed. You won’t better place to stay in the area.

Beautiful Views, Nice House and Great Location

The pictures and description of property are very accurate. Deck is wonderful. Kitchen is well stocked. Because of the location, no grass/yard for kids and no place for a fire pit. Easy access to Blanchard Cavern and Ozark Folk Center. Ghost town feature might be a bit over-sold.

Beautiful quiet setting. Easy to locate.

Immaculately clean interior, Beautiful quiet setting as seen in pics with river and pastoral views. Very well stocked kitchen (a bit too many pans for cupboard space). Easy layout and entry. AC worked beautifully. Bats come out at night around 830pm and leave guano on the deck but this didn't bother us, we spent time outside on the deck nearer to the master bedroom. Hostess was very responsive when we accidentally locked ourselves outside. She was very apologetic about the outdoor Bat situation, and we as homeowners understand that is beyond her control and she plans to get assist with the problem. Highly recommend unless you don't like Bats.

Varför värden valde detta boende

After years of enjoying the White River, we bought the property in 2009 and began construction on our cabin shortly thereafter. The view from our cabin is unique because rather than just looking across the river, our cabin is positioned so that guests can also see upstream.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

The cabin is about a mile away from boat launches for the White River and about 20 minutes away from Lake Norfolk. The area is very peaceful and is a great place to get away from the stresses of a busy life.
