Being close to King Street while still tucked into a quieter area is something we really love about this location too. As you mentioned, the property is located near the MUSC campus, so we do hear noise from emergency vehicles from time to time. We do all that we can to mitigate these noises, such as providing the hotel-grade noise canceling Modio devices! We hope you found these useful during your stay. With the houses being of older age some of the floors are unloved. Thank you for making us aware of that. The house is located in the MUSC district so it is a little away from King St and I understand you concern with the walking distance, the neighborhood is a safe area. We are happy to hear that you found the wine and chocolates to be nice. We would love to host you again the next time you are in Charleston.

Thank you Susan for your review. Since 2017 we have added luggage racks to each rooms, plenty of hangers, and brand new pullout sofas. We have also repaired the porch and everything has been repainted. We are glad you enjoyed your stay aside from the issues mentioned above.
