Typisk lägenhet i Toscana villa, tre sovrum, två badrum; på tre våningar, välrenoverat, för sex personer. Perfekt för familjer eller par. Från entrén, på bottenvåningen, klättra direkt till första våningen. Här är vardagsrummet med utsikt över trädgården och bergen, med soffa och fåtöljer, TV 32 ''; matsalen med kök, bord för sex, ett sovrum och ett badrum. På andra våningen, slutligen, ett stort dubbelrum, ett rum med två enkelsängar och ett andra badrum fäst till den senare. Den andra våningen är en typisk vind med strålade tak, och är utrustad med luftkonditionering.
Lägenheten är utrustad med diskmaskin, ugn, kyl, frys, wi-fi, hårtork. I det större badrummet finns en tvättmaskin och klädhängare ute i ett gemensamt område.

Santa Chiara är en gammal komplex, gamla klostret 600, omsorgsfullt restaurerade består av en stor byggnad som rymmer tre lägenheter utöver ägarens hem. Det ligger på toppen av en kulle strax utanför Siena (bara 15 minuters promenad från Piazza del Campo där den berömda Palio körs två gånger per år!). Det nås genom en grind och en allé som leder till en stor trädgård med gott om parkeringsplatser och vacker utsikt över staden och de typiska bergen i toskanska landskapet. Det är omgivet av 5 hektar välskött landsbygden, med en stor olivlund som ger en utmärkt extra virgin olivolja. Gården kan vändas till fots och gör en trevlig promenad som vilar under ett hundraårigt egetræ.

A fairy tale property with exceptional hosts to guide us! Our favorite VRBO stay!! Super comfortable, inviting, and with all amenities we needed. The air-conditioning was super helpful as was the pool to cool off. We walked into the historical part of Siena every day and all hours of the day. The restaurant offerings were a most welcomed treat with food and wine so good that we struugled to leave. We made beautiful memories to last us our life time and highly recommend this exceptional stay!!

Fantastic location a short walk into siena and beautiful views of tuscany. The accommodation was perfect for our family and the pool a real bonus. Anna and marco were great hosts and went out of their way to make us welcome.

Excellent Stay in Siena!

Villa Santa Chiara is a beautiful, well managed property in an excellent location. The three bedroom apartment we rented was clean and comfortable for our week-long stay for our party of six. I can't imagine a better option for accomodating a group in Siena. aaccommodations

A great VRBO inb a beautiful place

Anna and Mario wer fabulous. The accomodations and the grounds wer fabulous. For a stay in Siena you can't beat this setting. It is abut a 15 minute walk of the hill to get to center city, but the apartment and grounds ae well worth it.

Beautiful property with a great location

Perfect spot for a trip to Siena with friends. The hosts were helpful and available for questions. Easy walk to the city, but away from the hustle and bustle. Small grocery/deli close by. Highly recommend!

The owners were lovely and were available to answer questions at any time. The property is a great location, immaculate and very comfortable. Our apartment was perfect for our family of 6 people. You can easily walk to Siena gate and all over the city. When we had some downtime, we were able to lounge and relax by the pool. The cats on the property are great too! Don't miss booking a tour of Siena with Claudia, the owners daughter. This was a highlight. You cannot go wrong with staying at this property!

Anna and Mario were excellent hosts. They answered my MANY questions regarding the property and location. An added bonus was Claudia who not only lives on the property but is a historian of Siena and the area. A must do Siena tour with her during your stay. Highly recommend this locally owned Villa with deep roots and knowledge of Siena.

Family vacation in beautiful Siena

What a treat to stay at this charming family home right outside the walls of historic medieval Siena, Just a five minute walk away from the Porta Romano entrance into the walled city. Villa Santa Chiara was perfect in every way. Anna, Mario and Claudia were the most welcoming hosts and the property was breathtakingly beautiful. I highly recommend to anyone planning a Tuscany vacation.

Our party of five had plenty of space in our part of the lovely villa. Good directions to find the property, just outside the city walls. Easy parking at the villa. It was a 25 minute walk, some uphill to the city center. Everything we needed was in the apartment. Very nice hosts who provided good information on where to eat. Nice grounds with some modifications in progress.

Easy up-hill walk to Siena center. Spacious comfortable rooms, firm beds, tile floors and beautiful views. Largest showers I've seen in my stays in Italy. Friendly hosts on site without being intrusive. Enjoyed our tour of Siena with Claudia and wonderful day followed by delicious dinner with Veronica. Will miss our lovable cat Bella!

Villa Santa Chiara appt 4 review

The apartment is very near Porta Roma, definitely within walking distance of the historic Siena center. It has a lovely large living space, adequate kitchen and good beds (one king and 2 twins). Also, 2 full bathrooms. All were clean and ready for our arrival. Definitely recommended. One thing to know in advance, it is a second story appt (one flight of stairs to reach it), and a few stairs to reach one of the bedrooms.

Wonderful apartment and gardens for a family stay

We loved our stay at Villa Santa Chiara 6. The apartment was lovely and much nicer than the pictures can show. The gardens are lovely, the views spectacular and the pool was a great way to relax after long travels. We shopped and ate at the market nearby and walked into Sienna several times. The villa are s conveniently located right below the city walls. We wish we would have had more days in our trip to enjoy the property. We hope to return for a longer visit. Fabulous Siena location with teens. Anna was a very welcoming host and helped us book a great cooking lesson at the local school and recommended the city tourism walking tour, which was perfect, 2 hrs and on 8 people on the small group tour. Definitely stay here if you can.

Gorgeous property so close to Siena City Center

We had a fabulous stay at Villa Santa Chiara! The apartment was spacious, well stocked with everything we needed with gorgeous views of the Tuscan countryside. We had a tour of the property, including the chapel, before we settled in and it’s stunning. The owner grew up on the property and it has been in her family for 300 hundred years, so her knowledge of the area is extensive. She was able to help us get dinner reservations in Siena as well as recommend sights. We can’t wait to come back to this incredible city!

Beautiful apartment

Fantastic location for our few days in Siena. The apartment was great and just as described, well looked after and very clean. We enjoyed the gardens and pool. The location was perfect for walking into Siena for evenings out and exploring the city.

Beautiful property and location

The property is beautiful but the host’s responsiveness could have been better. The communication break down started after we settled in. We would not get a response for our questions about the heating system. Even when the internet stopped working on the third night of our 4 night stay, there was no acknowledgement of the issue unless we happened to see her outside the house. She seems to be only interested in selling the winery tour for her family wine business and selling the family olive oil. The refrigerator was running too cold and broke a water bottle in the process of freezing it. No acknowledgement from the host of the malfunctioning appliance, only that of the broken bottle. Aside from these snafus, we love the property. It’s a lovely home in a breathtakingly beautiful setting. The Brunello winery tour is highly recommended.

Love Siena!

Claudia was so responsive with our questions and helpful with suggestions. The location was awesome with a short walk to the city center, which you do not want to drive into. There was a bottega just down the road that had basics needs and decent food options. Siena was so much more manageable than Florence, relaxed and felt like you were with only locals in the evening. We would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful Home Walking Distance to Siena

I stayed in this beautiful villa with my children (ages 14 and 10); we all LOVED it!!! We swam in the wonderful pool every morning and late afternoon. We would walk to Siena and explore the town during the days and evenings. We also used this as a base to explore the many hill towns of Tuscany. Villa Santa Chiara was clean and beautiful with everything we needed for our stay. The hosts, Anna and Claudia, were warm and welcoming, answering all of our questions. We bought some of their delicious olive oil to bring back home with us. I highly recommend Villa Santa Chiara for a place to stay in Tuscany!!!

A wonderful family run property. Perfect location to walk to Siena.

Wonderful location, Claudia was so accommodating and grounds were beautiful. We stayed with another couple and it was a great place to reconnect and relax. Claudia also gave us a private tour of Siena. She was knowledgeable and very personable. We enjoyed everything about our stay.

Beautiful views and really spacious

There were 4 of us staying in this apartment and it was perfect. 2 twin beds and 1 queen bed. AC only in the bedrooms, other rooms were hot and no fan was provided. WiFi was spotty. We used the kitchen once to make pasta and there wasn't a ton of kitchen supplies but enough to get by. No dish soap though so all the dishes we washed were just with hot water. There was no soap in the bathrooms either so we had to use the shampoo or body wash that we had with us. The pool was fantastic, turned my swimsuit green, but other than that it was really nice. There was a small grocery store about 2 min walk away so that was really nice. The walk to town was about a 10-15 min walk but up a steep hill so not ideal to walk to town if you have a disability. Good news is the taxi system works decently well. Probably would've been easier if we spoke Italian but 30 minutes later we were able to get a taxi. (Sundays are busy for the taxi company) This is a great choice if you have no car and want to walk to vibrant Siena.

Truly a gem of a location and a great somewhat private location offering easy access to Siena

We will return to this VRBO in the future. The location is simply fantastic. Just a 10 minute walk to a gate of Siena and a perfect location to launch day trips to surrounding towns. The hosts were lovely and the accommodations perfect for our needs (it was just 2 of us). Convenient walk to grocers in Siena and rarely was the pool area occupied by more than 2 couples at a time. The kitchen had basics for our needs, refrigerator/freezer, gas cook top with 4 burners, oven, dishwasher. The parking was convenient and the drive was gated, keeping a sense of peace and security. One of the owners is a licensed guide, though we did not use this option. Take pool/beach towels with you as they are not provided and regular bath towels are not really suitable for the pool. This is a quiet place with no distractions from other guests. The views are exceptional from the hilltop on which the property sits. The upper bedrooms can get a bit warm but air conditioners are installed and work well, so no worries there. Really just a charming place. See you folks again...the Cannons, USA
