Underbart ett sovrum hus beläget i det historiska Bishophill-området i York, bara några minuter från centrala York. Stor modern lounge / diner med bekväma sittplatser, TV, DVD, PS3 och highspeed fiber wifi. Köket är fullt utrustat med allt du behöver för en bekväm vistelse. På övervåningen finns ett ljust luftigt sovrum med en högkvalitativ Silentnight-kingsize-säng, gott om förvaring med vintagemöbler och inbyggd garderob. Fastigheten är lämplig för två vuxna och två barn med extra lägerbäddar / och eller en resesäng kan tillhandahållas på begäran,
Fastigheten är ny på marknaden och har haft en fullständig renovering.

Utanför är en säker täckt gård som är perfekt för att lagra cyklar och buggies. På gatu tillstånd parkering finns också på begäran.

Fastigheten ligger inom stadsmurarna och ligger några minuters promenad från stadens centrum med alla dess sevärdheter, restauranger och butiker. det är bara 0. 6 miles från järnvägsstationen så är perfekt för dem som kommer med tåg. York är en cykelstad och fastigheten är perfekt placerad som en bas för en cykelferie i Yorkshire med enkel tillgång till lokala cykelvägar, vilket undviker huvudvägar. Huset är också ett bekvämt gångavstånd (1. 1 miles) från racerbanan, bussar kör också från stationen på tävlingsdagar. Den centrala platsen betyder att den också är bekvämt beläget för att besöka båda York-universiteten. Bishopthorpe Road är känd för sitt utbud av oberoende butiker och huset ligger bara några minuters promenad bort för en lugn frukost.

Huset ligger bara 5 minuters promenad från Shakespeare Rose Theatre som besöker York i sommar.

Wonderful house

We absolutely had the best stay in this beautiful walk up townhouse. Everything so nice & clean. Lisa is great, she even left little treats in kitchen and glasses and carafe water in the bedroom upstairs.

Excellent Property & Location

We recently stayed at the Property over a weekend. Location of the key was simple and inside the house was well kept. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean. We did have an issue with the Shower but the Owners were extremely responsive and resolved it very quickly. A credit to the service they were providing. The location was extremely good situated extremely close to the City Walls for a quick wander, or if that isn't your thing, then very quick to get into the centre of town. Parking was never an issue and with a community Pub at the end of the street, what else is there to look for!!

Decemebr Weekend Visit

Hi read all the previous reviews and hoped they were accurate. Need not have worried Lisa and the place were all spot on. Checking in easy and although the place is small it was perfect for the two of us. Warm and clean and great location for a 10 minute walk into the centre. Milk in the fridge, coffee, tea and biscuits already there. Many thank for the use of the house highly recommended.

Cosy home from home

The house is in an excellent location in a beautiful city - close enough to walk to all the attractions but far enough away to enjoy a quiet night's sleep! I would definitely recommend this accommodation.

Love this place

Everything was great about this apartment. We loved the location as it was easy to find with my sat nav. Our host (Lisa) was an excellent communicator. The bed was very comfortable and the entire apartment was super clean! We would definitely stay here again.

Wedding in York

The property was as describe. We were not in the premises very long and did not use any of the appliances. The shower lacks pressure but a minor complaint. A microwave would be a useful addition.

Family break

Great. Prior to booking-owner was very helpful, providing additional information about her property. Location : quiet, easy to find from the station. Enjoyable walk along the walls into the town centre. Facilities: thoughtful! Kitchen/cooking: great having basic cleaning products provided so no need to go out and buy dishwash liquid etc. Welcome pack was enjoyed by all :) Bathroom etc: unusual and welcome bonus of being provided with soap/shampoo.. Entertainment.. plenty to do in York, but noticed there were games etc, should people just want time to chill out! This was a first trial of using homeaway self catering, and certainly a great experience-so much easier to self cater when breaking a long journey.

Great place and great location - family friendly

Lisa was a great host. The apartment was spotless, and very welcoming. Lots of attention to detail. The location is great and an easy walk to all major sights. I would highly recommend.

Quiet and convenient

This apartment had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. It has a well stocked kitchen and comfortable sitting area. The bed was very comfortable. Five minute walk to the river and tourist area.Fifteen minute walk from the train station.

Wonderful situation in lovely city.

York is a lovely, characterful, city with endless things to see and a magnificent part of our heritage. Lisa's property is situated within the old city walls and wonderfully situated to allow seeing all of the sights conveniently by foot - including visiting many by walking around the marvelously preserved city walls. The house/apartment is spotlessly clean, comfortable, equipped with everything that you could need and Lisa has added small but thoughtful touches such as leaving small snacks, milk, tea and coffee for her guests - not to mention things like cling-film to wrap sandwiches. I can not recommend either York or Lisa's accommodation highly enough and hope very much to return there.

Like coming home

Arriving at Lisa's flat was like arriving at the home of a long known friend who had prepared everything just-so for us. Lisa was responsive, helpful, friendly with every detail of our stay, from beginning to end. The flat is perfectly located, clean, well kept. I highly recommend staying here.

Lovely little holiday home

We booked 2 nights for ourselves and our little girl. It's a lovely little home and the hospitality box was a nice little touch. Perfect location as everything is within walking distance. It is in a lovely quiet area and our little girl loved it.

Efficient and comfortable

Beautiful Space

Perfect location

A great house in a perfect location. Everything you need is supplied and it’s the comfiest bed ever! Didn’t need the car all week. Would highly recommend the Bengal brassiere restaurant but you need to book. Would definitely return to this house!!

A gem of a holiday home

We enjoyed a lovely holiday in this fabulous holiday home. It really is a home from home with everything you could need for a wonderful stay. Fabulous location, walking distance to all the major attractions York has to offer. Clean, comfortable and we appreciated the basket of goodies in the kitchen and Easter eggs on our kids’ beds. Lisa, is a wonderful owner who provides a first class holiday home in York.
