Om ett hus rör vid havet på Teneriffa är det här. Verkligen första raden fastighet i den populära fiskebyn El Medano i söder om Teneriffa. Beläget vid en fotgängare i centrum, nära stranden, alla restauranger, huvudplatsen (centrala torget). Denna gamla by var ett fiskecenter tills den blev mer och mer populär bland resenärer som ville njuta av stranden men letade efter den verkliga smaken av ön.
Médano är en av de bästa charmiga stränderna på södra Teneriffa, oavsett om du brinner för vattensporter eller vill (windsurf, kitesurf) njuta av en fantastisk familjedag. Stranden har den blå flaggan, som garanterar tjänster av hög kvalitet och optimala vattenförhållanden. Huset har två våningar och 2 terrasser med utsikt. Gratis wifi. Bara 50 meter bort hittar du en stor Plaza (torget) med 2 lokala marknader: På onsdagar erbjuder de lokala jordbrukare producenter, ett bra alternativ att prova de välsmakande grönsakerna och frukterna i området till mycket bra priser. På lördagar har de också en "mercadillo".

My family and I had a great holiday in Casa Medano

My family and I had a great holiday in Casa Medano. The house’s location was perfect for us and the accommodation was very comfortable and provided with everything that you could possibly need in a house. We also appreciated the good communication from the owners and, the personal touches like the welcome pack and the shower sponges.However, the external areas of the balcony and the roof terrace were disappointing due to rusty balcony rails, a rusty and inoperable sun awning and a cheap mixture of outdoor furniture, which was nothing like the website photographs.In addition the external doors to the balcony and the roof terrace were badly weathered and very difficult to open and close. For those reasons I have given my review a ‘Good’ rather than an ‘Excellent’ star, which I would have liked to have given.

Excellent location

Great property in a central location, with an excellent outlook over the waves - small downside is that it is a bit more tired than shown in the pictures but the excellent outlook and helpfulness of the property manager easily outweighs that.

first time at the big house

we have stayed at the small one three doors down, so this time we has the same view but more space. the roof is better - more private, there's a screen. the downstairs balcony is better too, quite a bit bigger, and less sea spray since it's slightly higher up. the rest was equally brilliant - the view, the sound of the sea, the access to the town. It's just a great place to stay.

Lovely House on the Sea

This house was lovely with the perfect location on the sea front and central to the village so good for supermarkets and bars/restaurants. The house was very clean had good facilities. We had some issues with the plumbing but this was sorted straight away by the owner. We would definitely stay here again.

Need some care

The apartment was shortly renovated and therefore in good shape. Unfortunately the apartment is cared poorly and no attention is payed for the equipment and the fittings. Despite the glasses for Gin we found spreading out 3 waterglasses and 4 for longdrinks - an apartment for 8 persons. All the kichen equipment is quite useless. Not one of the knives really cut. In addition all the broken machines like coffee and waterboiler aren't disposed of. The same with the broken freezer, a plastic boat and a kind of wooden boared in terrace kitchen. Before the arrival of guests it would be a plus to wipe and furnish the terrace and order the equipment.

Big apartment in best possible location

We really enjoyed our stay here, highlights were: + Spacious and well furnished apartment with balcony, roof deck, and 4 showers + Top location directly in the city centre of El Médano and directly next to the ocean + Helpful contact person for check-in, check-out and additional information Some minor drawbacks, most of them easily fixable, are: - The apartment was not well cleaned, cabinets contained lots of coarse dust and we had to wash all dishes before use - The ladder to the ocean is rusted especially at the mounting point which should be fixed for safety reasons - Old kitchen equipment, the water boiler immediately lead to a fuse blowing. - During flow, waves immediately hit the house's foundation which can be a bit loud. That was all ok for us, but may be a concern for light sleepers If we were to stay in the same area again, we would not hesitate renting here again!

La casa anche se un po’ vecchia rispetto le foto, si trova proprio nel centro della zona pedonale. Comoda per qualsiasi accesso: dal mare ai negozi, al bus.

Super Lage, direkt am Meer mit viel Platz

Wir waren mit unserer Familie für 7 Tage dort. Die Kommunikation vorab lief Wirklich super. Die Lage vom Haus ist auch super. Direkt am Meer, über eine Leiter klettert man nach unten und ist im Meer. In 5 Minuten ist man direkt am Marktplatz. Restaurants, Bäcker und Shops sind direkt in der Nähe. 2 Strände sind auch direkt in der Nähe wo viele Kitesurfer unterwegs waren. Das Haus bietet viel Platz, große Wohnküche, 4 Schlafzimmer, 3 Badezimmer, 1 Balkon und eine Dachterrasse. Leider ist das Haus etwas in die Jahre gekommen und die Bilder sind wohl schon etwas älter. Nach Ankunft haben wir erst mal alles geputzt. Im Großen und Ganzen hat es uns aber gut gefallen.

Incredible

Amazing property. Actually on the seafront. Huge rooms with a rooftop terrace (not overlooked) with breathtaking views of the area. The sea can be a bit noisy when the tide is in at night but it is within a few seconds walk from local coffee shops, restaurants and bars. Very close to a nice beach and taxi ranks (€20 from airport) with a relaxed vibe. Owner is very welcoming and helpful. A wonderful holiday!

Traumhaft schöne Wohnung!

Traumhaft schöne Wohnung in einer perfekten Lage direkt über dem Meer. Wir waren vier Personen und jeder hatte sein eigenes Zimmer mit Bad & WC, das war perfekt. Ana Reid von der Agentur und der Gastgeber César waren immer sehr hilfsbereit und haben sich sofort um unsere Anliegen gekümmert. Die Wohnung liegt im Zentrum von Médano ist trotzdem relativ ruhig. Jede Menge tolle Lokale im Umkreis und das Meer direkt an der Wohnung mit Zugang über eine Leiter direkt vom Balkon. Wir werden sicher wiederkommen. Vielen Dank dass wir in dieser wunderschönen FEWO wohnen konnten. Bis bald mal wieder.

Alles gut, todo bien

Schönes Haus für 6 Personen geräumig und gemütlich. Interessante Geräusch-Kulisse mit dem Meer direkt am Balkon, bei starker Flut tatsächlich teilweise erschreckend laute Wellen, die ans und unters Haus klatschen. Super Lage in der Stadt, alles in Lauf-Nähe! Die Einrichtung zum Kochen etwas veraltet, aber wir haben eh meistens die tollen Restaurants in der Nähe genutzt! Vielen Dank für alles! Gerne wieder!

Zu empfehlen

Ein Insgesamt sehr gelungener Aufenthalt. Kurze Kommunikationswege und keinerlei Probleme. Das Haus liegt direkt am Wasser und wir haben es sehr genossen über die private Leiter schwimmen zu gehen. Definitiv empfehlenswert 👍🏽

Séjour de rêve

La maison est particulièrement agréable, fonctionnelle et très bien décorée. L'océan qui arrive juste sous la terrasse laisse une impression exceptionnelle. L'emplacement à 2 pas de commerces et de restaurants est particulièrement pratique. L'accueil sur place est parfait, toute question a un réponse quasi instantanée. Bref, que du bonheur. Nous y retournerons, c'est évident.

After 20 year offering a wide portfolio in Tenerife, I could not believe the oportunity I have including this house, as I never seen anything like this: it cannot be closer to the sea, it is so close! It is very rare to find a house like this in Tenerife, the coast is very protected.
