All the comforts of home

Great location and all your family would need for a wonderful, relaxing vacation. Owner was there to greet us and to give us a tour. Home was cozy, inviting and was supplied with all the amenities needed. Would definitely recommend this gem!

Shenandoah Get-Away

The property and hostess were amazing. Oxana was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area, and the house had all the amenities. It’s a great location for visiting Shenandoah National Park and other attractions in the area, such as several Civil War battlefields. We highly recommend this experience.

Cozy Cottage in Washington, VA

The 250 year old cottage exudes charm as do the owners. A very lovely stay. Could not be more convenient to the Inn. Saved us the drive back after dinner to DC and allowed ample opportunity to explore!

Great little touches count and add to a relaxing stay!

We rented the entire house (there is an option to rent half or the fill house) while we were in town for a wedding. The house was very clean and I felt like the owners had some great little details such as the towels were all folded nicely (and there were a lot) toilet paper had a fold over on it like you were at a hotel, coffee, water, chips and chocolate candy for guests, etc. The owners checked on us when we arrived and helped us with the smart tv which was very helpful. Other than that they let us be and we knew where they were if we needed assistance. The porch was very relaxing and nice. We used the porch swing a few times. There is a grill of you need one. And they also have a baby gate for the stairs if you have little ones. Location was great! Overall a great stay.

Historical charm with the comforts of home

From the moment we arrived, we felt so completely at home! Oxana and Jeff greeted us (they live right next door), and Oxana gave us a tour of the home complete with historical information. They have made the home so comfortable and provided so many of the things you need during your stay including ample towels, hand soap, dish washing fluid, etc. I stayed with my husband, our 17 month old, and my parents as we were in town for a wedding. We all had our own space, and my daughter adored the swing on the front porch. The beds were comfy and brand new (1 queen bed in each of the 3 bedrooms), the kitchen was equipped with everything you need, and the two TVs even had Netflix and Amazon Prime along with cable! The location is IDEAL. We took several walks a day with the baby to explore the small town, the shops, and the beautiful local gardens and walking paths. There were even llamas and sheep for us to see! Oxana and Jeff were there if we needed anything, but kindly gave us plenty of personal space. They are truly the kind of owners you dream of having at a rental. We would definitely stay again!

Wonderful stay near Shenandoah

My parents, sister-in-law, niece, daughter and I stayed at this lovely property in Little Washington for a couple of nights at the end of March. We rented the entire house which consists of a two bedroom apartment with one and a half baths along with a one bedroom with an additional bathroom. There is a door inside that connects the two units. There were also two kitchens in this case. We mainly used the larger kitchen which is part of the 1-bedroom apartment. The cottage was so thoughtfully appointed with spices, some welcome snacks, even some coffee and tea, along with all of the usual cleaning, cooking supplies, and linens. The beds were comfortable. The heating/cooling was excellent. We were able to put the two small tables together to form one big table for meals and games. We were extremely comfortable.The location is also great as it is in the town of Little Washington which is very quaint and historic, and really a lovely place to spend a relaxing weekend. Our host Oxana was so gracious to take us on a mini-tour of the little town which we really appreciated. It was very easy to communicate with her. The location is also 15 minutes away from the Thornton Gap entrance to Shenandoah which was why we were there. It was so much more comfortable for our group to stay at this cottage than staying in 2-3 separate rooms with no kitchen at one of the lodges in the park. I highly recommend staying here if you are interested in touring any of the nearby sights!

This was our third time staying at this very clean and updated property. The owners are friendly and helpful.
