This property was absolutely beautiful and perfect for our recent family vacation! We traveled with 4 adults and 2 small toddlers, and the unit was incredibly spacious. The hosts were extremely helpful with all of the check-in aspects, and they also helped us know the area before we arrived with a welcome packet they provided. The Sterling Sands resort was perfect for our family with a pool on property and the beach just steps beyond it. Our family enjoyed every moment of our week stay here, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to travel to the Destin area.

This property is exactly as described and our host, Susie, was very informative of the unit and the area. Everything from cleanliness, communication, view of beach/pool, parking spot, elevator, supples in the condo were perfect! Lots of extras and well thought out for guests. Oh my goodness! What a beautiful condo and beach! This condo has it all! Not only is it beautiful - with amazing views, but the beds are cozy too! Plenty of pillows and blankets. TVs in all rooms. Great showers! The kitchen is fully equipped - trust me, we cooked a lot and did not need a thing! Also, the closet was full of toys for the kiddos. Don’t miss out on this property! I mean it! Most of all, the host was so very helpful!

Great condo with great location!

Condo was spacious, clean, beautifully decorated and comfortable. Amazing views from the balcony. Location was great with various restaurants, shopping, supermarkets & attractions close by. White sand beaches with crystal clear blue water makes Destin a great place to vacation!! Would definitely want to stay in this unit again!!

Best Room in Destin

We as a family have gone to Destin on several vacations. This room is set up with all of the extras from coffee makers with all the fixings to a storage full of chairs. It felt like a home for the week. Beautiful bathrooms they spared no expense, You will love the detail.

This condo is amazing. Super clean, comfortable sofas, beds and great pillows. Full size washer, dryer, and refrigerator is extra nice. Balcony is nice and has a lot of space. Beautiful views from living and two bedrooms!

Perfect Destin Option

We truly enjoyed our vacation in this outstanding condo. The size, layout, location and views from this beautiful property were perfect for our family. The owner was great to work with and put a lot of thought in ensuring that the property was very well appointed so that you can enjoy your stay. The condo had everything we could need from beach chairs, boogie boards to beach towels. The dining recommendations were very helpful too. If we come back to Destin we would rent this unit again.

The ocean views are truly mesmerizing, and the cleanliness is impeccable—spotless to the point where you could eat off the floors. Coming Home with a View

This beautiful place is not just a condo, it's like walking into a home away from home. You immediately feel so comfortable yet you're surrounded by beautiful upscaled decor and a stunning view. Every detail was considered and if you forget a beach item, they probably have it for your use. The owners are fabulous and want you to enjoy your stay. They are readily available for any questions and make your stay easy.

Home Away From Home

I really enjoyed my stay here. This place was the nicest and cleanest place there. Everything was right on point and even better than any pictures. Susie was the best to work and sweet as she can be. Really nice to talk to.Very responsive to any questions or concern. They are the best and I’ll try and stay here everytime I go to Destin. I would recommend this unit to any one that want a great nice and clean condo. I would do it over a million times and could go on and on about how great this place is.Great people!!

Best rental ever!

Beautiful rental property right on the beach! The views are amazing. The owners think of everything. You just bring yourselves and your family, from beach toys, chairs, floats or boogie boards. They supply everything! The beds are so very comfortable. I would recommend to anyone. Very quiet, top floor unit. We never had to wait long for the elevator either. It was close to restaurants and entertainment. It was also a short walk to the beach! We will be back!

Fantastic Place!

My family was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to stay in this wonderful condo. The unit is well decorated, very clean, and has been well maintained. It is evident that the owners take pride in it and want others to enjoy it as much as they do! Our trip happened to be during the week of a tropical storm and we weren't able to spend much time at the beach early on in the week. We were forced to remain indoors for a few days, but with the amenities of this condo and with room to spread out we were able to relax and enjoy our vacation nonetheless! The rain stopped and the clouds parted by Thursday, so we were able to hit the beach for three days. The beach is easily accessible and there are many beach amenities that are complementary with this unit. The views from the condo of both the beach and the bay are fantastic. Our family of five along with our two guests enjoyed the convenience that this unit afforded us. We very much look forward to coming back and staying here again!

Amazing Condo with Beautiful View!

This Condo is amazing. We have been vacationing in Destin since 1990 and this Condo was the Best Condo we have ever stayed in. We had plenty of room and the decor is Beautiful. The Bathrooms are beautiful and huge. If you want to cook, the kitchen was stocked very nice. We had everything we needed for the week. The outdoor closet was full of beach things that we were able to use. The views from this Condo are Beautiful. (Beach and Destin side) The outdoor balconies were perfect and had plenty of very comfortable chairs for our whole family to sit and visit. We loved it and the Owners are super nice and easy to work with. They made us feel so Welcome and we felt right at home. I have felt like I have made a new friend. Beautiful Condo and I highly recommend it to anyone who is wanting to rent it. I rank it a 10+. The Best Vacation Ever!

Stop searching- this is the condo you want to stay at!!!

My family and I have been renting through VRBO for many years. This particular condo was by far the cleanest we have ever stayed in. The decor was beautiful and the views were fantastic! With COVID going on we cooked the majority of our time there and the kitchen had everything we needed from pots and pans to grilling utensils and everything in between. The condo was in a great location, close drive (5-min) to Walmart, Target for getting groceries and many activities like Big Kahuna Water Park, putt-putt, the Boardwalk as well as multiple restaurants. The condo provided quick and easy beach access and the amount of ocean toys (boogie boards, buckets, rafts) provided were a huge bonus for my family. It was wonderful always having an umbrella and chairs set-up for us by 8AM everyday and kept us from having to lug all of that to and from the beach each day. The owner was also wonderful to deal with as well. It was obvious she wanted her guests to enjoy their vacation. We had 1 minor issue of the ice dispenser not working and within hours they had a bag of ice delivered to us and quickly had the dispenser up and running again (this was not an issue that affected our stay but it goes to show how responsive the owners were). They definitely go above and beyond to ensure their guests are happy! My family and I would without a moment hesitation book this condo again if/when we return to Destin!

This has been the best of 10 trips to Destin, hands down. We've been visiting Destin for roughly 15 years and this has been the best experience. The condo was great, better than the pictures, and the only surprises were the attention to details. We knew from the time we walked in the door this was going to be a great trip, it was very clean, well appointed, and the notes/tips left from the host made the transition to vacation mode seamless. Speaking of the host, when you stay here you'll find out quickly that you aren't just a transaction, rather, it's easy to tell this is something the host loves and loves sharing with others. To say the host went above and beyond would be an understatement (Appreciate the pour over, Susie!). The past few trips we keep coming back to Sterling Sands for a few reasons. It's centrally located, I can be at Walmart, Publix, and all that the harbor walk has to offer all within 5-10 minutes. A little further and I can be at the Gulfarium. I love that the pool and the beach is right in front of your balcony so you can see where your family members are. It also seems that due to the building being only 8 floors and wider, the beach doesn't feel like it ever gets crowded. Being on the 8th floor, you'll also have the perk of getting on an empty elevator most of the time. All in all, I love visiting Sterling Sands, however, 801 has taken that experience to new heights. I'm hopeful to bring the family back on many more trips!

Five Stars!!!

This unit was amazing! Super clean and quiet with incredibly nice accommodations, extremely comfortable beds/linens, a well-equipped kitchen and a mega wow beach supply closet. Sterling Sands is a great location close to everything you need for fun, shopping and dining out. And on top of this, the owner is super sweet, gracious, very responsive and super accommodating. We will be back for sure!!!

Beautiful property, beautiful view. Everything you need is at this condo!

Process was easy, Susie thought of everything at this condo. Made check in and out process so easy! First time staying in Destin, we usually stay in Miramar. Location was perfect- could walk to dinner and activities. Short drives to water sports and shopping. Worth every cent paid.

Fantastic condo

This condo was better than advertised. Great views from just about every room. Fantastic upgrades throughout and decorated perfectly. Everything was plush in this place from the toilet paper to the bed sheets and pillows. It was the nicest condo that we have stayed in and we are HGV Club members. Owner was very helpful and gave us a breakdown of places to go and see which were all of my wife's favorites. Great vacation!
