Home Away from Home

This was the third year in a row we've hosted our company retreat here, and it's become a home away from home for our team. We've always been impressed with the cleanliness of this rental, and this year was no different. There were a few minor issues (squeaky pipes, broken blinds, etc.), but considering the size of this property, it's very well maintained. We also got to enjoy the resort waterpark this year, which was a huge hit. Would highly recommend!

Perfect Stay for a Buddies Golf Trip!

Had 20 guys on our annual golf trip and the house could not have been better. SO much bigger in person than the photos (which is hard to believe), sits directly on the 6th green at the Reunion (Palmer) course, and has amenity access to the resort. The resort provided shuttle transportation to and from the courses each day and it met all of our needs. Don't think twice - book it and stay at the craziest house you've ever been in!

Amazing Reunion Fld Home

Wow so many cool things to list but basically you don’t have to leave this houseThroughout the stay, there were things not working here and there, but honestly that is expected with the enormous amount of appliances games, etc. they have available in the home. They were very responsive and because they had so many other options it didn’t phase us! We will definitely return!

Great place for a large group.

The house was great for our large group of friends! The owner was super quick to respond and have someone out when there was an issue. The house is very large. We would definitely stay here again.

Enormous house, very clean

We had a great family vacation with 28 people ranging from 6 months to 70. There's so much room in the house, with each bedroom suite being very spacious. The bowling alley and the pool were favorites for everyone. Some of the arcade games weren't working and there are some maintenance issues that need attention, but overall we had a great time.

Corporate Retreat

We had a Corporate Retreat with breakout sessions at this location. There was plenty of room both for sleeping accommodations and for multiple meetings to go on at once. There were a few issues, but the property manager was quick to respond and fix the issues. Overall, everyone was happy and are already talking about next year.

Every extra amenity you can think of

We took our 6 adult kids and 3 year old grandchild for a Disney park vacation. There were times the kids wanted to stay home to play with all the “toys” instead of go to the park. From the bowling alley to huge home theatre we had a blast!

Property was not what it was suppose to be. We had so many issues starting with pool heater not working. Golf simulator broke not able to be used. So many things were not right it's hard to even begin the list. The water was not hot for showers the lights did not work. Alarm in room went off at 6am and was nit able to be shut off for over an hour. Phone calls and communication was bad with property manager the week before. And because everything was working. He knew it was not! We had our huge family with little kids that could not swim because water was cold we had teenage kids disappointed that golf simulator was broke! We had to make many calls to manager but nothing was fixed. For the amount of money you pay for this place it should be a 5 star with everything working! We would not recommend this place to rent for the reason of the amenities not working!! Property manager told us what we wanted to hear but then was not able to follow through with anything. The grills did not work. The freezers were broke. The overall property was rough. The list could go on.

Wow! Just Wow!

This house is so big and beautiful, we would get lost just exploring and my entire party didn’t want to leave all weekend because there is so much to do in the house. We did have a few things go wrong but the manager was quick to send maintenance over to fix it. Most of the showers and doors are all electronic which got annoying going back and forth and trying to figure out how to keep the shower on but it’s pretty cool and high tech and everyone loved it! The downstairs was our favorite spot because that’s where all the fun stuff is, bowling alley, arcade, spa, golf sim, pool table and basketball court. The rooms were spread out so the noise didn’t carry if people were sleeping and others wanted to stay up. The way the house is built is very well done with such a large amount of rooms and noise control. Parking was a little bit of issue because a lot of my family drove in so we had to figure that out because Reunion security kept giving us warnings but we did finally figure it out and enjoyed our weekend. I would definitely return for another family reunion in this house. It was absolutely amazing! Just for reference my party was 18 adults and 10 kids and it felt like I never knew where anyone was. Great place! Thank you for letting us stay the weekend.

Beware!!!

I am seriously concerned about the property owner’s sanity/stability and caution anyone considering this property. My family rented 16 months in advance to plan a family reunion. Using VRBO messaging I requested to drop off food/drinks in the garage the day prior to check-in since the house was vacant. The response was the reservation starts the next day. I was staying in a VRBO house across the street to help set up for the reunion and ran into the property manager on the driveway. I told him we are going to Costco and would prefer to store items in the garage instead of the car overnight. Once he realized our intentions, he promptly invited us into the house. During this process the property manager leaves and the owner arrives in an irate manner demanding for us to vacate the property and he will cancel our reservation. We tried numerous times to ask him to calm down, but he remained irate. He was yelling so loud that SPIT came onto my face. My father, sister, brother, cousin, and his housekeepers witnessed this. His employees were petrified and left. We tried to tell him we were invited into the house by the property manager, but he did not want to hear anything. We tried to remove the items from the house and he yelled “keep your items in the house and check-in like normal tomorrow. I am going to fire my property manager instead”. A few minutes later the owner demands a payment for $4377, a full days rental for unloading our food items, otherwise, he would cancel the reservation. We paid the ransom. We found out Arlo Baby Cams wouldn’t work on his public Wifi. We requested to create a secure network (takes 5 minutes) to monitor our multiple children, but his response was he would not help us. MULTIPLE ISSUES with house: 3rd floor hot tub does not produce hot water, movie theater cannot connect to streaming app to watch movies, min supplies to clean (soap, trash bags, mop), min kitchen supplies to cook/serve, A/C unit 3rd floor didn’t work, golf simulator didn’t work, only 1 iron & 1 hair dryer for 14 bedrooms. On the day of check-out, the property manager came to greet us and profusely apologized for the owner’s actions. He stated, “he should never have yelled at you. I clearly gave you permission to enter the property. I am seriously reconsidering working with someone who treats others so badly.” Enter at your own risk. My family was scared when we were accosted by the owner, and VRBO should reconsider working with such an individual.

Inaccurate listing

The house is spacious and offers a wide range of amenities, but it fell short of the expectations set by its listing due to several maintenance issues. Showers would randomly shut off, the air conditioning in one wing wasn’t functioning properly, the movie theater had technical problems, and many of the arcade machines were inoperable. We had to call service technicians multiple times during our stay, which is disappointing considering the 3,500 per night rate. That said, the property is located in a beautiful gated community with excellent recreational facilities, including golf, well-maintained pickleball and tennis courts, and a fun mini golf course. The owner was responsive and sent maintenance personnel promptly, but overall, I wouldn’t recommend this property at its current price point given the number and nature of the unresolved issues.

Perfect property for a large

This property is endless and perfect stay for a large group. There's so many activities and if anyone needs time alone, there's plenty of space to get away. It was the perfect size for our group and we had a blast. A few items in the house didn't work such as some arcade machines, hot water on the first floor, recliners in the theater. Some of the items were taken care of such as bowling alley but others were not addressed. I called the house keeper a few times on Saturday and never got an answer. Overall excellent place to stay even with the minor items.
