Beläget mitt i härliga Highland-landskapet, med utsikt över Ben Lawers och Schiehallion, har denna stuga omvandlats från en enfamiljslada och utrustad med högsta standard. En mysig semester reträtt, det ligger med egen stor inhägnad trädgård upp en privat enhet med en gård på ena sidan, bara 3 miles från Menzies Castle (öppen påsk - oktober). Den närliggande Kenmore vattensportscentret på Loch Tay (2½ miles) erbjuder vattensporter och fiske. Golf 2½ miles. Aberfeldy 5 miles. Härliga promenader i närheten. Flera pubar och restauranger inom en 5 mil radius (närmaste 3 miles). Handla 2½ mil .. Tre steg till rymligt vardagsrum med dörrar till trädgården. Old house

Our stay was really unpleasant. The house was dirty (linens, kitchen tools, roofs have spider webs on them). The dryer was in the garage where as the washing machine was in the house. This made us go back and forth between the places. We stayed for one week and the beds were really uncomfortable to sleep on. The house in general is in need of total renovations.

Quaint Cottage

A most enjoyable stay at this holiday home. Helped by the four days of glorious weather, so we were able to sit out and enjoy the garden. My mother struggled with the steps to the kitchen and to the bedroom(s) as she walks with a frame so we had to help her each time. So although it looks like a bungalow it’s not really. We felt a couple of items now need upgrading - the garden furniture (very heavy to manoeuvre) and the shower cubicle. Also, it wouldn’t cost much to have broadband installed and would be an asset. The kitchen is very well stocked with good utensils and very nice crockery. Overall we enjoyed our stay here, but there were a few minor niggles.

An excellent place for exploring rural Perth-shire. The only things missing were a dish washer and wifi (you may get a phone signal depending on the network you are on) but these were not a problem for us and it was good for the kids to get a break from their smartphones. Cottage in the woods

A comfortable clean cottage with plenty of equipment in the kitchen (a dishwasher would be lovely). Bedrooms of a good size with comfortable beds. Showers a little slow. Books and family games available for colder days. Gardens are well tended but not secure for visiting dogs who can roam down to the road if not kept on lead.

Most enjoyable time.

Most enjoyable time. Facilities are adequate though the beds are a little short for taller people. Very clean, nice and warm and very comfortable. Outside gravel could do with some moss killer and a good raking as outside is quite slippery and mucky when wet. No dishwasher so clearing up after dinner a little more onerous than usual. Overall would recommend the cottage and we have already booked again!

We were pleasantly surprised by the well equiped and spotless cottage. Very homely. With 6 persons were the 3 bathroomd more than welcome. We enjoyed the privacy. We’ve been there for 2 weeks and Made Some nice visits to different locations.

had a great time ! Lovely cottage, loads of wild life, fed the Red Squirrels, birds, pheasants and made good friends with two hens, had wild Hare stop and look in at us through the patio door. the cottage was very comfy and although it had houses close by felt really private. My Husband liked having a garage for the car, especially as the sparrows took to pecking the wipers when we left the car out. Down side, if there was one, too many rules framed on walls, recycling was confusing, shower in the utility appeared dingy, so was not used, and on arrival no welcome pack, we usually have at least, tea bags coffee and milk in other places we have hired, especially as there were no local shops at hand. The key left in the garage was for the back door, which was not visible from the front or sides of the cottage, accessed by a narrow passage between the house and next doors walls, so we had to call the caretakers who explained why we could not get in, the label on which was faded and as it was raining was difficult to see, this perhaps needs to be explained on the cottage info. We would rebook this cottage again as it was a lovely place so peaceful and felt like a family home.
