Denna 3BR, 2. 5BA 1920-talets inspirerade bungalow ligger i hjärtat av allt ... huset är ett vackert två våningar hem i Charlotte historiska och charmiga Wesley Heights i 3: e avdelningen. Av alla Charlotte historiska stadsdelar kan Wesley Heights vara den bäst bevarade hemligheten. Ligger rätt väster om Uptown och inom ett stenkast från Bank of America Stadium (Go Panthers!) Bekvämlighet är nyckeln till Wesley Heights popularitet. Området ligger precis utanför I-77 / I-277-slingan som går runt Charlotte, och ingången till I-77 är en halv mil bort. Med skuggiga, säkra förorts trädkantade gator, gott om parkering, i kombination med snabb tillgång till uptown, har Wesley Heights samma vädjan för Charlotte urbanites idag som när det ursprungligen byggdes på 1920-talet. Det är också gångavstånd till greenway som går genom Frazier park (tennis, fotboll, jogging, cykling, hundlekområde osv.) Som leder dig till gateway center upptown.

Huset är mycket rymligt (2000+ SF), luftigt med massor av naturligt ljus som strålar igenom hela dagen. Den har 12 'tak i hela, brasilianska trägolv av körsbär, högkvalitativa italienska stenbänkskivor, körsbärsskåp, vitvaror i rostfritt stål, eldstad, etc. ... Lela Court är omgiven av många underbara restauranger och butiker, du behöver aldrig åka långt hemifrån. Panthers Stadium och Bobcats arena är också mycket nära så att du alltid snabbt kan fånga en spännande, levande fotboll eller basketmatch.

Befälhavaren svit är på huvudnivå, är mycket privat och rymlig med välvt tre tak och takfläkt. Garderoben är en stor garderob med gott om plats för alla dina tillhörigheter och mer. Det privata badrummet har italiensk kaklat dusch, dubbelt handfat i marmor och italienska klinkergolv. Vardagsrummet / köket är också på bottenvåningen och fullt utrustade för din komfort och njutning. Det finns ytterligare 2 rum (ett av dem med privat balkong) på övervåningen i ett komplett badrum med Jack & Jill.

Det finns aldrig några krångel med parkering eftersom det finns gott om gratis parkering på gatan precis framför huset och också på baksidan av huset.

Great Place!!!

My family and I enjoyed our stay. The bungalow pictures match the images online. Nice quiet tree lined street and easy drive to major events in Charlotte. This will definitely be my first choice on my next trip to Charlotte.

We traveled to Charlotte to celebrate a good friends 40th birthday. The place was great and very convenient to the downtown area. Would definitely recommend or stay again.

Nice house well situated near "Uptown" Charlotte

I had the pleasure of staying here recently with two associates when we were in Charlotte for work. The house is situated in a nice section of Wesley Heights where the relatively new houses were all built as individual designs mimicking older neighborhoods. It is quiet and generally (except for Saturday night) easy parking. While it is not super convenient to things like a grocery store, those are not terribly far to drive to. There are a few different restaurants that are walkable (though you might want to drive) and include American cuisine, a brewpub, Italian, and sushi. The house was clean and comfortable with shower amenities provided. Overall, it was a good weeklong stay and I hope to return since I'm in Charlotte relatively frequently.

Great Place to stay

My experience was wonderful. The house was nice and very clean. There were plenty available parks along the street in front and back. Nice size bedrooms. I wish the living room had a larger open floor plan, and the other “Den” is more like a foyer, only room for one half sofa. I didn’t like that we had to pay $25 exam hour extra for late check out, but maybe that’s the way it is, I don’t know. Host gave us our privacy and did not bother us at at, yet was so responsive. I would definitely stay again.

Exactly how poor reviews depict it

We wanted to believe that the bad reviews were over dramatic, but nothing has been done to repair or improve the property after these reviews. The house is dirty, has a cockroach problem (they agreed that they did when I told them), there is water damage, the master shower faucet is falling off the wall, the carpets are so dirty, there is not enough cups and utensils and everything is old and mismatched. We tried to work with the property manager or owner, but they take forever to respond to emails. We paid for 7 nights and only could stand staying their for four nights. I really hope they take all of these reviews and do something for this property because it has great potential and is in a perfect, safe location. If the above were taken care of then, I would recommend this unit.

Nice home, needs improvement

This home was perfect for our getaway, 4 high school girlfriends having a 36 year reunion. Very roomy, good size functional kitchen 2.5 bath and 3 good size bedrooms. However, we were quite disappointed since there were amenities listed that were not working. We could not use the fireplace(pilot light out) and the dishwasher wasn't working. Our first night we had a couple of german visitors and the bed frame in the master collapsed. The first morning we discovered that the outlets in the upstairs bathroom didn't work and a couple of outlets in the kitchen didn't work. The third morning during cooking breakfast the microwave vent cover fell off onto our cooking bacon. The whole second level is carpeted and the carpet was very dirty. Also, there was no instruction list on how to operate the tv, house rules, things to do in the area, etc. I made the property manager aware of these malfunctions as they occured, with no offer to come and repair the problems, only excuses. I requested a 10% discount since we had so many inconveniences and I was told that he would contact the owner and try to make things right for us. I haven't heard a word! Stay- 3/25 to 3/29. If this home appeals to you, ask ????? and make sure these things I listed have been repaired and are satisfactory.

Great location & easy communication but property needs deep cleaning & updating

My family and I were in Charlotte for a long weekend to celebrate a wedding. We had mixed feelings about the property. Here are our thoughts: PROS: The property is in a nice location on a quiet street with easy parking and access to the city. Communication with the property manager was excellent and he was very helpful in allowing us an early check-in as well as a late check-out due to our flights being rescheduled because of inclement weather. The bathrooms were well-stocked with toiletries, clean towels, and soap. CONS: The property needs some serious updating as it's clear it has primarily been a rental property for several years. The ongoing wear and tear really shows. The carpets are very worn and stained in several places, most noticeably on the stairs. The property sleeps 7 adults but there isn't enough living room or dining room seating for this many people, so people have to awkwardly sit on the floor. The two sofas are worn out, frumpy, and stained. The property could really use a deep cleaning--such as washing the windows, dusting the ceiling fans, and cleaning out unused drawers and cupboards. In general, it was tidied up and clean at first glance, but there were cobwebs in corners, dust on shelves, dirty windowsills, very dusty mini-blinds. Everything else was pretty bare bones--there aren't many frills or extra amenities to this property--no cooking supplies, no ground coffee, etc. Only a handful of cups and water glasses so we had to wash everything if we wanted to use it more than once. The bedding is also in need of an update.

Not as good as it sounds....not recommended

In the month of October my husband and his three cousins rented this home in Charlotte so that we may attend the NASCAR race. All occupants were 64 to 73 years in age. The structure and furniture were very nice and accommodating. There were two problems that we encountered. First the A/C unit would freeze up at the piping near the compressor resulting in no cooling air. It was hot and very humid during this period. Shawn (not the owner) was contacted and his response was "shut the A/C off while we were away". The second problem was the most disturbing. This residence in my opinion has a cockroach infestation. We killed at least 8 or 9 cockroaches and one of the guest stated that one of the cockroaches had an egg sack. Again the owner was contacted and a representative delivered some roach bait. We took special precautions to secure our food items and sanitized all dishes and utensils prior to using. Without question had our wife's been there we would have been seeking additional lodging. It appears that the owner was aware of both issues but failed to correct them prior to renting to us. As a result of the above mentioned issues I would not recommend this house for rental consideration. Contacted Shawn on a daily basis regarding issues and cleanliness......not sure why they require the insurance....nothing goes to fix anything including the cracked toilet.

Not a clean property

This is a nice location with access to restaurants and close to Uptown. That’s about it. Upon arrival it was dark. The next morning when the sunlight hit, I could see a LOT of things that were dirty and needed attention. Baseboards in the living room and kitchen were very dirty. Color spots were on the floor and counters in kitchen. Stools in the kitchen were very wobbly. Microwave was covered in tape. There was big pieces of old food on the floor around the stove. Dishes were dirty that were put away as clean were everywhere! The oven had baked on and burnt food that looked like sauce. It smoked when the oven was turned on. Upon trying to clean, the only thing found was dish detergent and paper towels. No dish cloth. No sponges. Couldn’t use a wash cloth because none were left. I called the owner several times and left messages. I text the number given, no response. I sent messages through the communication portal. No response. When the owner finally contacted me back hours later, he only acknowledged that I would not be charged for the dirty items. No apology was given. I never got a response about cleaning products or were they going to be provided. On top of that, both toilets upstairs clogged. With the uncleanliness, broken items, and lack of communication, I don’t suggest this property.

Would Book Again

A lovely home in a great neighborhood for our purposes this trip. Somehow the entry instructions didn’t reach me on VRBO by the time we arrived but a quick call/text and we were in. Clean living and kitchen. Spacious for our group of six. All three beds were comfy. Walk to stadium for concert was 1 mile. Paved walkway the whole way. A nice laundry room that we would have used if it was a longer stay. I was concerned because there were a few 1-2 star reviews stating the place was dirty. This was not the case. CLEAN. COMFY. CONVENIENT. we would stay again.

Great location

Very clean and convenient to uptown and the Greenway. Comfortable beds and quick reply from owner. Don’t think twice about renting this one.
