VÄr stuga Àr 432 kvm fot stuga tvÀrs över gatan frÄn sjön dÀr du kan Äka vattenskidor, jet ski, fisk, leta efter örnar eller fiskgjuse eller bara kryssning. PÄ vintern Àr kabinen endast tillgÀnglig via snöskoter eller lÀngdskidor. Dess 4 miles frÄn var lÀnet slutar att ploga vid toppen till stugan. VÀgen brukar hyras tillsammans med mÄnga fler miles av stigar att Äka eller Äka skidor pÄ. Sovrummet har en fullstor sÀng, loftet har 2 enkelsÀngar och en dubbel storlek Hide-a-sÀng nere. Köket Àr fullt utrustat med en mikrovÄgsugn, ugn och spis, och massor av redskap. Den har en propan öppen spis och en propan grill. Den har en stor TV med DVR (det finns ingen TV-mottagning). Det finns ingen cellen service, men det har en fast telefonlinje. Det finns tvÄ loger med marinor dÀr bÄtar eller kajaker kan hyras. Varje lodge har en restaurang, bar och lanthandel. OmrÄdet erbjuder vandring (Pacific Crest leden kan nÄs pÄ flera platser), 4 Wheeling, jakt pÄ hösten och skoterÄkning pÄ vintern med mÄnga miles preparerade spÄr eller boondocking, isfiske, snöskovandring eller lÀngdskidÄkning. Nice cabin in a quiet neighborhood. I had a boat and there was plenty of room to park. Close to three different boat launches and great fishing. Bucks lake is a treasure. This is a comfortable place to enjoy it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tom’s Place. tom was reachable and extremely helpful during our stay. The place was clean and the rules were clear. Very good stay. Will be back!

Tom's cabin was great! Communication leading up to our stay was good. Check in was easy, as Tom was there to show us around. The cabin is cute and cozy, just what my wife and I wanted for a weekend getaway fishing Bucks lake. We will definitely stay here again!

Cozy and just what we needed.

Everything was just as advertised. Cozy, welcoming and the perfect mountain lake cabin. Even when it was very warm outside, it was still comfortable inside with the late evening breeze. Can't wait to come back next year.

Toms Cabin Stay

Wonderful
actually plenty of room
folding tray tables to help when eating indoors. Kid entertainment on DVD, horseshoes, picnic table, and fire pit outside. Room for a pack n’ play in the bedroom, no lack of utensils, fans and windows to keep cabin cool during hot summer months, large fridge. Short walk to Haskins general store and the creek. Lots of wild flowers and friendly neighbors. Highly recommend.

Worked well for our family of 4

Cute little place that worked well for our family. We missed in the listing that there wasn't a table inside, but there's a big picnic table out in the large yard, and little fold-up tables to put next to the loveseat for cold mornings eating inside. The master bed is worn and too soft, but the kids loved the loft. The wi-fi is enough for iMessages and sometimes loads email, but isn't strong enough for anything more than that (though is certainly better than nothing if you're needing to stay in touch, since there's no reception nearby). Tom is great and you really can't beat the location. Will be back!

2 Night Stay for nearby wedding

We attended a wedding at the Bucks Lake resort and needed a place to stay close by. Tom the owner is very nice and a quick to reply for questions. The cabin is cute but very tiny for 3 adults. We had formal clothes since we were there for a wedding. There is no hanging or closet space for clothes or luggage. The only place to hang anything is from a few hooks on back of bathroom door. Seating is a 2 person loveseat in kitchen with an ottoman. The person/s that checked out prior to us appear to have had pan fried food as the stove and counters were not clean and had a layer of grease everywhere. Same for coffee maker, toaster, microwave and refrigerator, we had to clean it before we used it. Tom was very apologetic about it and truly sorry, as he had not been able to check on cabin before we checked in. Bed linens and towels where clean, and beds super comfy! Cute little cabin, but it's a snug fit!

Another great week at Bucks Lake

Tom was a great host. The location of the cabin is ideal, especially with family and friends staying in Haskins Campground. The cabin is small as advertised, but has everything we needed for the week. We really enjoyed the outdoors space, with the lawn, picnic table, patio off Tom’s cabin, and fire pit. Tom was accommodating with a refrigerator issue. Check in and out couldn’t have been easier. The wi-fi was spotty, but I didn’t expect it to be like home in the middle of woods. I was able to check email and send iMessages most of the time. Cabin was well stocked with towels and kitchen necessities. I appreciated being able to clean the cabin to earn the cleaning deposit back. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the cabin was as expected.

Bucks lake cabin

It was nice but very hot and the fridge didn't work right and all of our food spoiled. The bed was a foam mattress that was way to soft and too small for 2 people. We left 2 days early and came home.

We live in Reno and enjoy outdoor activities. We are able to come to the cabin most weekends to relax. I grew up in Alberta, Canada and learned to enjoy winter activities because there's not a lot to do there in the winter. I've lived in Montana, Idaho and Colorado. Notice they all have Mountains? I have three daughters that are now grown and love coming to Bucks. The place grows on you and you can't wait to get back when you leave.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

I wanted a cabin that we could enjoy year around. This is the perfect place, it doesn't get too crowded but still has all the amenities. We came up snowmobiling and stayed at the motel for a weekend in 2009. I fell in love with the area and knew I had to find a place that would be mine that I can pass on to my daughters. When I bought it, it was in pretty rough condition. My friends and I completely gutted it (this is when you find out who your true friends are), and remodeled it from a new foundation, wiring, plumbing, insulation and painting. We also resided it. Then we built the larger cabin attached to a corner of the original cabin. The road is paved all the way and in good condition. It is not uncommon to see deer, bald eagles, osprey and the occasional bear.
