Place was very nice

Place was very nice. Fun games. Plenty of space. The only complaint is that the sauna didn't get sufficiently warm. Would highly recommend.

Nice get away in the woods

Nice cabin but had plumbing issues.

This rental property was nice but there were 2 major plumbing issues during our stay. One toilet leaked through the floor into the basement the night we checked. Another major plumbing leak happened from the kitchen sink into the basement on our last day. Also, the property says it has cable TV, which is not entirely accurate.

The house was beautiful and well maintained. it was hard to locate it as the house number is not visible from the road, but we were able to easily connect with an agent who was able to walk us through the map. Upon arrival the carbon monoxide alarm was beeping, it took out a significant chunk of time from us figuring out where the beeping was coming from and for the maintenance to come in with a replacement. The good news was that there was no actual “leak”, just an expired alarm that got replaced. Some of the bed linens were not clean, there was no wood for the fire, the sauna didn’t go past 90 degrees even after running it close to two hours. We still got to enjoy our stay in this house and have a great time! I would recommend the house.

Best log cabin I've ever seen!

Loved this cabin (house)! Sits privately within the trees, a nice distance from other houses, at the top of the mountain in a golf course community. Beautifully constructed and appropriately furnished with great woodsy furnishings. Lots of decks for everyone to escape to. Comfortable bedrooms. Well equipped kitchen. Loved the electric "stove" in the living room. Disappointed the sauna did not work properly.

Great house, but stay left us a bit disappointed

This house is cozy and comfortable and overall well equipped with the exception of a few basic things that I blame on the management company (Taylor Made) vs. the homeowner. The hot tub did not seem well maintained (controller did not work properly) and by the end of the 4 day stay smelled like fish (as one of our kids so eloquently said) and the WiFi was spotty and did not cover full house. It required renewing everyday, so it would just stop working, and without cell reception, WiFi was essential. Also disappointed in the lack of the “little things” - no coffee filters, one trash bag in the kitchen, sparse toilet paper, paper towels etc. For the price paid per night, I expect a bit more. It seemed like previous guests would have left some of those things, so it made me think that these were removed by the cleaning crew. The area and the neighborhood was beautiful and peaceful, so still give 4 stars. I just don’t know if I will go for another Taylor Made managed house next time around.

Amazing house and perfect location

This house has everything you could need!! This was our first trip to Deep Creek and we could not have picked a better house. It comes equipped with everything you could possibly need. The house is spotless and every room has something special! Plenty of space for our 3 families! Our children are all college age and everyone has plenty of room to stretch out and relax. The entire process was easy! I would highly recommend this house and the management company!!

Clean, gorgeous and serene!

Absolutely gorgeous house in a great location! Couldn’t have asked for more! Our family enjoyed winding down in the evening by relaxing in the hot tub. The entire house feels like a true home away from home! Will definitely be back!

Great Weekend Stay

The location is minutes from the lake and great golf courses. The only issue was that the sauna did not seem to be working properly, but it was summer, so it wasn't a big deal for our stay. The pros: this house is really nice couldnt ask for much more. had more than what we were looking for. The Cons: house offers a sauna, it was not plugged in. we luckily had an extension cord but if you didnt have that it didnt work. it also offers a hot tub....we spent 2 hours shoveling these items out so that we could use them. I feel this should have been done prior to our arrival was a great house and i take away that complaint because of that. I would rent both the house and from taylormade in the future.
