Awesome location in Madrid

Great apartment in the best “quiet” location in Madrid but still in the heart of the city. Metro station right out the front door and Retiro park 2 blocks away, perfection!

We had a fantastic stay at this flat. The location could not be better as it is next to one of the main metro stations in Madrid. Place was very clean, spacious, and very nicely decorated. Neighborhood is close to everything, and safe. We will definitely look for this place if we were to come back to Madrid!!

Below expectations the apartment compared to the photos and description. one of the bedrooms did not have air conditioning. the balcony of the living room, which overlooked the street, was blocked and obscured by scaffolding and we kept it closed due to dust. Kitchen accessories and linens were insufficient. upon request, however, something was provided. very good location next to the subway and the neighborhood. The electronic key is convenient but there was no direct relationship in person at check in, check out.

A week in Madrid

We came as a family of 4 with a grandparent and two more joined for 2 nights. The apartment was so well located with metro station right out front. There was also every possible shop you could want on the block including grocery, butcher, wine shop, sand which shop, bakery, nails and beauty salon. We were walking distance from the beautiful Tetiro Park and the Corte de Ingles which has everything you could ever need! With the metro all of Madrid is at your doorstep.

Un épouvantable rapport Qualité/Prix.

Un appartement bien situé, pas propre meubles vieillissant. Fauteuils inutilisables, des murs sales. Aucun des objets ménagers utiles en quantité ou qualité suffisante. Une « agence » Charming avec des contacts conflictuels et d’une mauvaise fois à toute épreuve. Heureusement que nous venions à Madrid pour d’autres raisons que de jouir d’un appartement!!! Et puis je ne suis toujours pas remboursé de la caution de 300 € versée en entrant. Donc notre séjour à Madrid s’est bien passé mais surtout pas grâce à cet hébergement. Abritel en Espagne, c’est sûrement fini!

Excellent location

This apartment was terrific in all aspects and only steps away from the metro which made it super convenient for getting around Madrid. Also right in the heart of the nicest part of the city. Easy checkin and had no problems with anything during our 5 night stay. Would highly recommend.

Great spot

The apartment was in such a great location. Everything we needed was nearby, the neighborhood was beautiful and the metro was steps from the door. There was a lot of space to spread out in the apartment. The center bedroom was hot and had no natural light. The listing says sleeps 6, but if the trundle bed is open in the center bedroom there is no room to move in the room and access to the bathroom is completely blocked. The listing should say sleeps 5 instead. That trundle bed is very lightweight and tipped over while one of us was sleeping in there one night. Apart from that complaint, we were happy with the space.

We stayed at Jaime’s apt with my family. The location is great (near the park and lots of restaurants), and the apartment was clean. It’s up a few flights of stairs, so getting a lot of bags up the elevator is a process but overall totally worth it. We really enjoyed our stay.

Perfect in all ways

This property is as advertised and more. The communication with the owners in advance was fantastic. All questions were timely answered and helpful suggestions made. We were met at the unit, escorted to the flat and given instructions on the check out, wifi (which worked very well), etc. We were made to feel welcome. Location - this property is literally steps (14m I think) from the Principe de Vegara Metro Stopon the Red line. If you are going to spend some time in Madrid to see the sights, the Metro is the only way to go. It is safe, clean and the trains run very quickly. I suggest getting a Multi Card and getting the Madrid Tourist Travel Pass. That gives you unlimited stops for the number of days that you choose to stay. See madrid-traveller.com on tips. We took this from the airport to the property with no problems at all. The property - it is on the third floor of the building. There is an elevator but it is very small. If you are coming back at night, the stairwell is not lighted so be prepared to use the light on your phone. The unit has been newly updated. It is very spacious and was meticulously clean. We had four adults and had no problems with bedrooms and bathrooms (2 well appointed bathrooms). If you have a light sleeper in the group they may not want to take the front bedroom on the street. The kitchen looked brand new, including the washer and dryer. This allowed us to pack much lighter and do laundry mid trip. There is a great place for breakfast next door and a small market just down the street. The living room and common area were tastefully decorated - someone spend some time doing this. It felt very cozy - like you were in someone's home. If I were to come back to Madrid, I would hope this property were available again.

Estuvimos una temporada larga en el piso de Jaime y es precioso! La ubicación es inmejorable y lo encontramos impecable a nuestra llegada. Las habitaciones son preciosas, los baños muy cómodos y la cocina equipadísima y espectacular! La comunicación con el host fue siempre inmediata y muy amable. Disfrutamos muchísimo nuestra estancia y sin duda volveremos!
