Really great place

Really nice flat. Nicely decorated, spacious, very comfortable, in a great location. We’d stay again. Just note that the bedroom does not have a door.

All you could ask for.

Stayed with Ian for 18 nights and the apartment is spacious, well equipped for self catering if needed, mostly eat out or had take aways rather than cook ourselves. Location is superb as it is close to Newtown and other areas especially King Street. Lovely, pleasant walk along Wilson Street with cafes and parks. The Saturday market at Carriageworks next door is well worth a visit. We used the apartment as a base and used either the excellent train network into the city- worth getting an Opal card for, or the occasional Uber which are also good valueIan is an excellent host - someone who is always there for you should there be a problem but friendly and welcoming and non intrusive. Would have no hesitation in recommending the apartment to future travellers.

Wonderful Aussie Charm

The entire booking and check-in process was seamless and Ian couldn't do enough for us. He answered all of our questions and concerns as quickly as he possibly could. He had a friendly yet discreet demeanor, the ideal host. The neighbourhood is full of wonderful restaurants and bustling with activity. We would highly recommend Ian's Air B&B.

Home away from home

Well kept property with all the facilitys you need to make yourself at home.Also a friendely welcome from the owner and his nice dog Tank. Location is good for exploring Sydney. Public transport Very relaibel.👌

Fabulous stay.

The accomodation met all our needs ,it was comfortable, very clean, very private, the owner was very friendly and helpful, all the necessary homeware was available , It was great as we had the choice to eat in if we wanted. It is close to public transport, cafes and restaurants, and the theatre we attended. We loved it would definitely stay again, was a a great introduction to Sydney for us. Loved the surrounding buildings and ambience of the suburb.

Hidden Gem in inner city Sydney

Everything you need is here at this property. There was a washing machine and dryer which was handy right outside our door within the property. The property is essentially a basement unit and has a lovely outlook over a green tropical garden. Modern, cosy and has a/c. Digital TV not Smart TV. Would stay again if in Sydney.

The location of the property is excellent and suited our purposes. The light in the property is not great and the photographs appear as if lots of light floods in but it’s quite dull and difficult to tell what the weather is like. The facilities are good however need some updating and repair whjch the owner is aware of.

Perfect stay

Quiet, snug, well kitted out and very comfortable- loved the unexpected outlook on the garden courtyard. Well located a few minutes walk from the bustle and life of King Street and not far on to the Enmore Road precinct. Nice corner cafe just up the street opposite lovely Hollis Park - and the apartment is right on the doorstep of the excellent Saturday morning Eveleigh Street Markets and the Carriageworks complex. Easy walk to bus and train - so good base for reaching other parts of the city. Would have no hesitation in another visit - lovely stay - thanks Ian

Newtown Accomodation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Wilson Road, the property was in an excellent location that was close to many wonderful cafes and eateries. Ian was a wonderful host and check in was extremely easy. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone.

Perfect stay in cozy Newtown apartment

We had the absolute best stay in Ian's apartment. It was perfectly located, right off King Street. The apartment was immaculately clean and very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook (although with all of Newtown's options we didn't end up eating in very much!). Ian was also a wonderful host. We had a couple questions during our stay and he was always happy to pop down and explain the oven/give us sightseeing recommendations. This would definitely be our first choice if we came back to Sydney again!

Great Location

We stayed here for 6 nights and found the basement apartment to be clean, cozy and comfortable. Ian was able to accomdodate our early arrival (thank you, Ian!). The kitchen is compact but has everything one needs to put together simple meals. We ate in 3 of our nights and found the cookware, cooker, utensils, etc. to be very adequate. The location is just a few blocks away from loads of great cafes and restaurants, the train station and shops, yet is on a quiet tree-lined street. The only slightly negative thing for us, and this might not matter to anyone else, is that the bedroom does not have a door closing it off from the main living area. As one who is an early riser, with a spouse who isn’t, it was a little difficult to make coffee and read my book without disturbing the sleeping spouse. Other than that minor inconvenience, we enjoyed our stay very much.

Convenient, clean, comfortable accommodation for a couple

Ian’s communication was prompt & accurate. We loved the self check-in, especially as we arrived late at night. Ian’s instructions were spot on. This inner city self-catering one-bedroom apartment is private, quiet, well-equipped and conveniently located near transport & within an easy walk of a cafe, park and supermarket. It is also very close to the site of a weekend farmers market. There is an attractive small outdoor covered deck. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to family & friends.
