Farfalla Hill erbjuder sällsynt privatliv på 5 hektar skogsmark i East End of Provincetown vid kanten av galleristriktet. Magnifik utsikt över Cape Cod Bay är lätt att se från båda våningarna i detta hus.

Ligger tillbaka från Bradford St. på en privat enhet, ligger du fortfarande bara 2 korta kvarter från bukten, en 2 minuters promenad till Provincetown Theatre, 5 minuters promenad till galleriområdet och East End restauranger och en 10- 15 minuters promenad (eller snabb cykeltur) till centrum.

Detta hem har nyligen designats och byggts av ägaren, en möbelmakare och skulptör. Traditionell arkitektonisk detaljering, stonework och träarbete skapar en atmosfär av avslappnad lyx. När du går in genom den anpassade kaklade foajén, öppnar en bred trappa dig omedelbart upp till ett stort öppet rum på 2: a våningen. Massiva träkrokar stödjer en katedraltak som lånar en lodgeliknande karaktär till vardagsrum, matsal och kök. Vacker utsikt över Cape Cod Bay, inramad av stora ekar ses i söder. De 18 fönstren i det här rummet är öppna för de rådande vindarna som kommer in över vattnet.

En stor rustik sten spis, synliga tak takbjälkar, och en 5'-6 'flygeln grace vardagsrummet. Det generösa gourmetköket har stenbänkskivor och moderna apparater. Matsalen sitter 8-10. Ett stort däck erbjuder ännu mer expansiv utsikt över bukten.

Tre sovrum ligger på första våningen och inkluderar en master svit med bifogade stora anpassade kaklat badrum och inklädningsrum. Dörrar från vart och ett av sovrummen leder ut till däck som omger utsidan av första våningen. En utomhusdusch är gjuten i hörnet bredvid stenskorstenen.

Tvättstugan, även på första våningen, har en full storlek tvättmaskin och torktumlare.

Fabulous Vacation Spot

We love Provincetown and were so happy to find this house. It was a perfect, quiet spot for our children and friends to gather. We loved the view from the spacious deck, and the kitchen was excellent for cooking some extensive meals each night. The bedrooms are all generous in size, and the decor is perfect. Rick was a very gracious host. We'd love to return.

Summer in Ptown

We spent a week at this property and couldn’t have been happier. The house, view, and grounds are spectacular. Before we arrived, Rick answered all of our questions promptly. When we arrived earlier than expected, the housekeeper kindly allowed us to put groceries in the refrigerator and our bags on the porch. By the time we moved in, the house was spotless. It is also very nicely and comfortably furnished. The beds were great. The kitchen was very well equipped. Everyone we encountered, including the neighbors at the bottom of the driveway were lovely. We’d return in a heartbeat.

Been to Ptown many times, this home was the best!

Can’t say enough about this spectacular house in an equally beautiful setting. The house is done to perfection, but it is warm and inviting rather than stuffy. It has the distinction of utmost privacy on lots of land, surrounded by trees and water view, yet very convenient to town and beach. The owner, Rick, has thought of everything. We came with my extended family which includes two chefs who loved the kitchen. Two great decks and an open floor plan in the living area made it perfect. We hope to return and highly recommend it to all!

Beautiful seclusion, close to bustling ptwon center

My family and I had a wonderful week here - the house is spacious and beatiful, and its location and surrounding woods make it feel extremely private even though you're just a few minutes walk from commercial street. The views are as lovely as the pictures suggest. Rick was a friendly and helpful host - we will absolutely book again next time we come to Provincetown.

Hidden Gem in P'Town

This is a beautiful home, hidden away in a wooded area, yet only minutes from the buzz of Commercial St. The furnishings and fittings are like a boutique hotel; you'll wish it was your own home! Rick is a terrific host, meeting us on arrival and providing local chocolates as a gift. Its so quiet at night, you could be in Truro, but you can be in the hub of things in a 5-10 minute walk. There is a playground and basketball court down the street for kids. We would stay here again with pleasure.

gourmet rustic oasis in P-Town

Rick has constructed a home in the hills above Provincetown that serves up woodsy tranquility with great bay views. Located amongst trees and gardens the house is well thought out with up to date amenities . There is a huge amount of space so a family or group will not be bumping into one another. Rick is an owner giving his guests good value for their money down to the smallest detail. I have been coming to the Cape since the 1960's and have experienced all types of properties thru all stages of my life. This is the best I have ever rented. I felt it was worth the price. Beautiful property, great views

Spectacular property. Beach castle on a hill. Nestled on a secluded lot on a hill. Short walk into center of town. 3 wonderful bedrooms, full laundry room , well equipped kitchen, dining balcony with grill overlooking the bay, even a grand piano. This is no tiny beach cottage.

Outstanding property, great location and host

This property is one of the best in Provincetown, and I almost hate sharing good news about it. The house is stunning- meticulously designed, well furnished, and located on a quiet hill in the East End. The pictures don't do it justice. The owner is one of the nicest people you will meet- very easy to work with before and during the rental period, and genuinely interested in you enjoying the property. A truly wonderful experience all around.

Great place for family gathering

The home and surroundings are beautifully done and spacious. Everything we needed was provided and of exceptional quality. The quiet serene location close to town was ideal. Rick was an excellent, amicable host. Farfalla was the perfect vacation spot and since it was he first time I rented a home, I felt we hit the jackpot!

Special and unique

Felt really blessed to stay at Farfalla Hill this past 4th of July. It's clear the house is a labor of love - it's impeccably designed, has a minimalist quality with just the right level of detail. I loved discovering the books, unique objects, and furniture items that Rick has collected or made over the years. The house also has all the comforts you could want - great beds, strong AC, a rain shower and outdoor shower, grill, etc. It's truly a special place. Rick and Barb were really friendly and easy to communicate with - can't wait to stay again next summer.

Secluded, Spacious, and Luxurious

This house was the only property I've ever rented that was better in person than in the photos. Perched on a hill in the East end, the house is both conveniently located (easy walk to town and bay beach and East End marketplace) and totally removed from the chaos and noise of Commercial Street. The design of the home is inspired and practical-- high ceilings, open floor plan, lots of outdoor spaces, immaculate kitchen. The master bathroom has a gorgeous rain shower. The aesthetic details throughout the house are sophisticated and elevating, and yet, it is a vacation home that truly makes you feel at ease and relaxed. On top of all this, Rick is the best host-- he answered texts immediately, often showed up to answer questions in person, and installed a baby gate for our toddler before we even arrived. This is above and beyond any experience we have had with a dozen vacation rentals. We are already booking for next year!

Great house!

A group of five of us stayed here for Carnival, and we totally loved it. The living room and kitchen are all part of one big, open room that is great for hanging out. The deck has awesome views and is perfect for grilling. Rick, the owner, was very responsive to our questions. I highly recommend this house.

Amazing house !

We loved our stay. The house is beautiful and comfortable. Rick is a great host, responding quickly to our inquiries. Being walking distance to P-town was a great, especially for our teenagers. Would stay here again.

Farfalla Hill was an oasis.

This finely crafted home is a true work of art, a sanctuary, and a delightful place to call a home away from home with so many beautiful details from the fully stocked chef's kitchen to the comfortable beds, an AMAZING shower in the Master bedroom and nice separation between the living quarters and the sleeping quarters. The grounds were well maintained and the woods behind the house really made the evenings feel private and intimate. From the house to the water was less than a 10 minute walk. This home made our P-Town vacation complete. It was a pleasure meeting Rick, he was a lovely host. We LOVED our stay and we hope to come back to Farfalla Hill again next summer.

Wonderful property!

We had a great time at Farfalla Hill. It is a beautiful home with nice furnishings and a grand piano! The views are lovely and the property itself is secluded and quiet, providing sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of the West End. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone who wants the best of both worlds at P-Town!

My experience as a furniture designer/maker has enabled me give special attention to the finishes and detailing of the houses. Farfalla Hill is located on the hilltop, a few hundred feet from the grouping of 3 houses at the bottom of the hill.
