ERFARANDE FRASER ISLAND

Eurong är centralt (och inte tidvattnet relevant) för ett antal vackraste sjöar (t.ex. Lake McKenzie, Lake Wabby), frodiga regnskogar (t.ex. centralstationen) och rena kristallklara bäckar (t.ex. palm- och ormfodrad centralstation (Wanggoolba Creek), och de många buskar som vandrar. Du kan njuta av öns skönhet från ökenliknande sandblåsningar, unika och häpnadsväckande sjöar, utforska de många natursköna körningarna på ön, 4WD-äventyr och längs den östra stranden är Eli Creek, skeppsbrottet från Maheno , Indian Head och Champagne Pools, den färgade sanden och hela vägen till fyren längst norrut på ön. Under din vistelse kan du få uppleva och se några av de underbara djurlivet på ön inklusive sköldpaddor, valar, delfiner, stickor, hajar, junglar (sägs vara Australiens renaste) och det underbara fågellivet.

Excellent house for large groups or multiple families. Kitchen has everything you need. There was 10 of us, two families of 5. We had no problems with power or hot water. Downstairs shower is amazing. Great location, short walk or drive to Eurong shop, bakery etc. Beds are comfortable. No problem contacting owner if you need anything. Lisa will always call you back. Would definitely stay there again. Had an amazing 10 days.

Great

Location was very good, house was great, plenty of saucepans, cutlery, plates etc. Great roomy bathrooms, good sizes bedrooms, great table space and heaps of seating both inside and out. Host is very nice and easy to deal with. The only disappointment was cant use the bbq/outdoor area when raining as it only has a shade cover.

Great location so close to eurong. House big enough for 14 people. Plenty if seating inside and a great outdoor seating area. Big bbq outside and a full kitchen inside.

Excellent accomodation

10 of us stayed and the house was perfect for us. The location is great and the house had everything we needed. Everything was clean and tidy especially the kitchen and bathrooms. So much so I am re-booking and we will take wives next year..... that should say it all!

Eurong House

House was in a good location, however the house needs some maintenance, internal stairs feel hollow when you step on them, shower downstairs leaks out the side of the shower screen. Lisa was great with communication before and during the stay.

Good quiet location

Location was great, nice and quiet. Bbq was great especially for cooking for large groups.Check in process was delayed and not ready at 2pm which was a little awkward when arriving. House was not cleaned very well as a result. Some furniture needs replacing like kitchen chairs, was stained and stinky.Otherwise stay was great.

Great spot, heaps of space. Bit of a puddle to get into the township, may need a snorkel on vehicles depending on time of year. Would happily stay here again, thanks heaps!

Short reprieve

Was a great end to our camping trip. A nice, easy overnight stay to pause, before heading off the island. Very easy for our group of 8 and plenty of beds.

The house was in an amazing location. Had everything we needed. Lisa was super friendly and inviting. The house was massive and had everything we needed. Everyone had an absolute bawl! Will definetly be booking again with Lisa! 😃

Family Fraser trip went fantastic!

Property was easy to find and walking distance to beach. Plenty of room for all guests. Comfortable beds and good equipment and supplies in the house. Would absolutely stay again. Thank you

Great holiday

We had four families and a total of 14 people in this house. Having the big fridge and chest freezer was great. We had a cloudy week but the power didn't run out until morning six when we were leaving. It was turned on by the owners very quickly. We went during winter so it was difficult to dry towels and clothes with the dampness and rain so would suggest bringing extra towels. There is a clothes rack and fans in the cupboard which helped with this. Overall the house is quite old and needs a bit of an upgrade and maintenance, a solid cover over the outdoor area would have given us more space. But we understand how difficult it is to find workers and get jobs done on Fraser. Thank you.

Not satisfied with the communication

We went through Stayz.. But you couldn't contact the property owner easily with their system, We had trouble wit h the water leakage from the top bathroom to the downstairs bedroom and to the bath. It was horrible and very dangerous the leakage and pouring water from upstairs. It was very dangerous all the water on the floor , slippery and there are no extra mats or mop and not able to contact the owners. It could have not happened overnight, problem must have been there for some time. they haven't contacted us for any discounts since the person affected by this had to go and stay in alternate accommodation and we all had to use one bathroom. Since they are not flexible with their bookings and no refunds, the place should be well maintained at least. Very disappointed.

Steve and I, Lisa, moved to Fraser Island in 2005 when we bought the only taxi on the island "Fraser Island Taxi Service". I have been visiting the island for my holidays since the late 1960's and it was like ''çoming home" to my island paradise when we moved here. We continue to enjoy living, working, playing, exploring, fishing, swimming, 4WDing, beachcombing, stargazing, on our beautiful K'gari, we would love to share it with you, it's worth boasting about.

We purchased My Island Home in 2008 and have now seen heaps of holiday makers enjoying their little piece of paradise aptly named K'gari in their own Island Home. My Island Home being situated in Eurong is central to all the inland areas without having to worry about the tide when driving along the beach. You can make the most of your holiday - inland driving when it is high tide to visit rainforests, lakes etc inland and explore the treasures along the beach, Eli Ck, Maheno Shipwreck, coloured sands, Indian Head, Champagne Pools when the tides allow.

My Island Home is a double storey brick house, which is cool in summer and warm in winter. It has a peaceful and quiet atmosphere overlooking bush. Eurong Second Valley is a secluded little township area with only local holiday makers and just a few residents and only a short walk to the beach.
